There are those that would argue that the number “666” does not appear in the Bible. They make the erroneous claim that the Apostle Yahuwchanon (John) did not write 666 in Revelation 13:18. However, a closer look reveals that is exactly what John wrote!
We have a few hints that the Book of Revelation was first written in Hebrew. After all, the Apostle John was a Hebrew-speaking man, who would not have written the Revelation of Yahuwshuwa in Greek. The Greek translation of the New Testament was preserved in Antioch Syria, and it is called “The Textus Receptus” or “The Received Text.”
The Hebrew copies of the New Testament were destroyed in the Roman Siege in 70 A.D., and no copies survived, except for a few copies of the Book of Hebrews and the Gospel of Matthew. I cannot wait for the One-Thousand-Year Reign of Messiah, when these lost books of the Briyth Chadashah (Renewed Covenant) writings will be restored!
In the meantime, we have ways of deciphering that the New Testament (and specifically the Book of Revelation), was originally written in Hebrew. We have the witness of Scripture itself telling us that the New Testament was written first Abriym (Hebrew):
Yahuwchanon (John) 5:2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
Ma’aseh Schlichiym (Acts) 21:40 And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spoke unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,
Ma’aseh Schlichiym (Acts) 22:2 (And when they heard that he spoke in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he said,)
Ma’aseh Schlichiym (Acts) 26:14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me? it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.
Chazown (Revelation) 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon.
Chazown (Revelation)16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
With that background information, we can now understand why the Greek translators of Revelation, used three Greek letters, instead of the number “666” in Revelation 13:18.
You see, in Hebrew, and in Greek their Alphabet also doubles as their numbering system. Today it is called “Alphanumerics.” However, even though the Greeks inserted these three Greek letters to denote the number “666,” we can find two other places in the TaNaKh, where the number “666” appears! Therefore, we have three witnesses in Scripture for this number “666” pertaining to the number of the beast! See this link for connections between Nero Caeasar and 666:

The first time we see the number “666” is in the third book of Daniel with King Nebuchadnezzar erecting a golden statue of himself, and demanding to be worshiped:
Dani’EL (Daniel) 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, [sixty cubits, shittiyn] and the breadth thereof six cubits [six cubits, sheth]: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
*Explanation: The Chaldean word for “threescore” (meaning “sixty”), is #H8361 (shittiyn) The word for “six” is #H8353 (sheth). Thus, we have the #66, but what about the third #6?
You will notice in Daniel 3:5, that six musical instruments were the signal given, for all the inhabitants of Babylon to worship the golden image!
Dani’EL (Daniel) 3:5 That at what time you hear the sound of the cornet [trumpet], flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.
The second time we see the number “666” is in 2nd Chronicles 9:13, where we learn that King Solomon collected 666 talents of gold in one year, into his treasury:
2nd Chronicles 9:13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold.

What exactly is the “Abomination of Desolation?”
Scripture teaches us what to look for in the end of days, by giving us historical prototypes. We can see the first prototype in Scripture of an “Image of the Beast” in the book of Daniel, where King Nebuchadnezzar (whose name adds up to 666 in Chaldean), commanded all people in his kingdom to worship his image under penalty of death. Even though President Trump did not command his followers to worship his golden statue at CPAC 2021, he obviously had no qualms about allowing his followers to worship him through a golden image of himself at this event.
This event took place during the three days of “Purim & The Fast of Esther” which was February 25th - 28th in 2021. This was no accident, that the event was held during the three days of Purim, since it was the wicked Haman who ordered the Yahuwdiym (Jews) in Persia to be annihilated on the 13th day of the 12th month of Adar (Esther 3:13).
On August 13th 2020, Trump signed the Abraham Accords with three nations: United Arab Emirates, Bahrain & Israel, enforcing mandatory vaccines within the writing of the agreement. It is a well-known fact that Freemasons and Illuminati members often conduct their events on the thirteenth day of the month, since this is meant to be a number of rebellion and witchcraft.

This website is the most exhaustive of all websites for calculating Gematria values, because they have ten different methods of Gematria, to include Chaldean, Latin, Greek, Roman, English, and even Computer ASCII Code.

The Apostle Yahuwchanon (John) was shown that the end-time beast, the One World Religion & Government of Anti-Messiah, will set up an image in the Jerusalem Temple, causing all the inhabitants of the earth to worship him:
Chazown (Revelation) 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Does the Name “Jesus” Add Up to “666?”
In a nutshell, the short answer is “No!” There are people on YouTube and social media making these false claims that the name “Jesus” is “The mark of the beast,” and while I do recognize that the name “Jesus” has pagan origins, it does not add up to 666, nor is it the mark of the beast described in Revelation 13:18. The proponents of this error, are using the wrong Greek letter, and a faulty argument to make their theory work. They cite the wrong pronunciation for the Greek letter “Chi” (sounds like key) in “Chi, Xi, Stigma.” They falsely say this letter has the “ch” sound, as in “cheese,” then, they say that the name “Jesus” sounds like “cheesus,” which it does not. Does Revelation 13:18 contain the Islamic Symbol of the Bismallah?
Back in 2006, I first learned of a man by the name of “Walid Shoebat,” a staunch Roman Catholic, who claims to have been an Islamic terrorist before converting to Christianity. A friend of mine sent me a YouTube Video of Mr. Shoebat presenting his false teaching as a guest on a well-known Christian Television Network called “Trinity Broadcasting Network,” which is secretly owned by the Vatican.
I immediately smelled a rat, when I heard Walid Shoebat altering the Scriptures to fit his Jesuit Agenda. After a few years of peddling this false information, Mr. Shoebat began preaching Roman Catholic doctrines on his podcasts. He made it abundantly clear by his false doctrines, that he is a secret agent of Rome, and working to deflect from the Roman Papacy as the beast power of bible prophecy.
Many others began investigating his wild claims, which were discovered to be false. It turns out that the Israeli Bank where he claims to have planted a bomb, denied that such an event took place at their bank.
This man started peddling the idea that the number “666” does not actually appear in Revelation 13:18. Using a suspicious manuscript called “The Vaticanus Codex,” Mr. Shoebat claims that the Islamic Symbol of the “Bismallah,” was placed there, rather than the Greek Chi, Xi Stigma (666).
After careful investigation, I discovered that Walid Shoebat was working for the United States Government within “The Department of Homeland Security,” and he receives anywhere from 5,000 dollars to 10,000 dollars for each speaking engagement where he peddles this information!
