Ezekiel & the Parable of the Woman in Matthew 13:33

It was on May 1st 2021, and I was talking on the phone with my son Elijah, and he said that he had been wondering why “ONE-THIRD” of any integer of 1,10,100,1000, and so on came out to 33333.... to infinity.

But “TWO-THIRDS” of the same integer came out to 66666...to infinity.

I was amazed that he had this revelation, because instantly, I understood the meaning of these mathematical equations. My reply to him has to do with the prophet Ezekiel, and his Nazarite vow, which ended with him shaving off all his hair.

Zecharyahuw (Zechariah) 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, says YHWH, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Zecharyahuw (Zechariah) 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, YHWH is my Elohiym.

Ezekiel was told to shave off the hairs from his head and beard, and to divide them into “THREE PARTS.”

The first part (representing the remnant of Yisra’el) was to go inside the corner of his garment where the “fringes” (Tziytzith) go. To learn more about this command, see Numbers 15:38 & Deuteronomy 22:12.

Another third was to be burned with fire, and the other third, struck through with the sword.

This will be the judgement that comes upon those who take the “Mark of the Beast.”

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 5:1 And you, son of man, take you a sharp knife, take you a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon your head and upon your beard: then take you balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 5:2 You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 5:3 You shall also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in your skirts (kanaph).

Ezekiel 5:4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Yisrael.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 5:12 A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

The ones who have the Father YaHuWaH’s name in their foreheads (Revelation 14:1), will be reserved in the corner of the garment, where the Tziytzith (fringes) are placed.

Ezekiel’s prophecy aligns perfectly with Zechariah 8:23:

“Thus says YHWH of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that TEN MEN shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall TAKE HOLD OF THE SKIRT [KANAPH, CORNER OF THE GARMENT] of him that is a Yahuwdiy (Jew), saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that Elohiym is with you.”

The Parable of the Woman & Three Measures of Meal

The one-third, and the two-thirds also helps us understand the parable of the woman, and the “THREE MEASURES OF MEAL” in Matthew 13:33.

There are three groups of people within the Household of Faith that will be divided up, according to their faith in Messiah, and their works of obedience:

1.) The Remnant from the House of Judah.

2.) The Remnant from the House of Joseph/Ephraim.

3.) The Remnant from among the Gentile Nations that are grafted in to the Two Houses of Yisra’el.

The number “3” represents resurrection and “witnesses.”

Obviously, it is because our Messiah resurrected “on the third day” from his crucifixion.

Additionally, in 1st John 5:7-8 tells us that there are “three” witnesses that testify in heaven to the oneness of Elohiym: “The Father, the Word, and the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit).”

The number “6” is the number of mankind (humanity), that have not been redeemed by the number “7,” which is the seventh day of rest, the Shabbat!

Therefore, our Messiah resurrected on Shabbat, just before sundown!

This is why he said, “I am Master of the Sabbath!”

The number “7” in Hebrew is “sheba,” and it means “To covenant, to redeem by an oath, to take an oath by repeating seven times.”

The parable of the woman, and three measures of meal is the shortest parable our Messiah ever taught:

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 13:33 Another parable spoke he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

*Explanation: In this parable, the leaven does not represent sin, as it does during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

The Greek word for “leaven” is “zoomu,” which is something that fully permeates.

*Thayers Greek Lexicon gives the following explanation:

“The word leaven in this case refers to the saving power of the gospel, which from a small beginning will gradually pervade and transform the whole human race.”

The one-third of Jerusalem who will be saved in Zechariah 13:8-9, correlates to the parable of the woman who mixed leaven into “THREE MEASURES OF MEAL” in Matthew 13:33.

There are three groups of people within the Household of Faith that are divided up, according to their faith in Messiah, and their works of obedience:

1.) The Remnant from the House of Yahuwdah (Judah).

2.) The Remnant from the House of Yahuwseph (Joseph) & Ephrayim.

3.) The Remnant from among the gentile nations that are grafted-into the Two Houses of Yisra’el.

Ezekiel 37:16-19 describes these three groups of people as follows:

1.) The Stick of Yahuwdah/Judah, and all the House of Yisrael, his companions.

2.) The Stick of Joseph/Eprhaim, and all the House of Yisrael, his companions.

The Hebrew word “companions” is “chaber,” which means “To knit together.”

These “companions” are all the gentiles in the nations who are “grafted-into” the original Olive Tree (Yisrael).

This is the same concept that is seen when Keefa (Peter) had his rooftop vision, and he saw the unclean together with the clean animals, and they were in a giant Prayer Shawl (tallit) being lifted up to heaven, and then let down to the earth.

The giant sheet (prayer shawl) was “KNIT AT THE FOUR CORNERS!”

Acts 10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet KNIT AT THE FOUR CORNERS, and let down to the earth:

Acts 11:5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by FOUR CORNERS; and it came even to me:

The Apostle Shaul (Paul) used this same language in Colossians:

Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being KNIT TOGETHER in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of Elohiym, and of the Father, and of Mashiyach (Messiah);

Colossians 2:19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and KNIT TOGETHER, increases with the increase of Elohiym.

If you are among the “ONE-THIRD,” who keep his covenant (evidenced by the 7th day, and 7 annual feasts), you will be resurrected with Messiah. Hence, you will be among the 33333..... to infinity!

If you are among the “TWO-THIRDS,” that worship the beast, and do not obey the covenant of YaHuWaH, you will be among the “Lawless One,” the beast, hence, 666666.....to infinity!

The
“Mark of the Beast” involves three things that Satan wants to counterfeit from the Creation Account in Bereshiyth (Genesis):

1.) The Image of Man created by YaHuWaH (Genesis 1:26-27), in exchange for The Image of the Beast (Revelation 13:14).

2.) The Name of YaHuWaH encoded onto the DNA of mankind by breathing into him “The Breath of Life.” (Genesis 2:7), in exchange for The Number & Name of the Beast (Revelation 13:17-18).

3.) The Sabbath of the Creator, which is his “SEAL” or “MARK” upon mankind (Genesis 2:2), in exchange for The Global Reset, Satan’s Counterfeit Sabbath & Jubilee (Revelation 13:17-18; Revelation 17:14).

I highly recommend my other blog, where I reveal that human DNA is created with our Creators name: The Image, Name, & Number of the Beast

As of October 16th 2021, Bloomberg published the number of people in the world that have taken the Covid Vaccines. This number is based on the tracker that is inside of people’s bodies from the microchip implants administered via the Vaccines.

See this link:

The current World Population in 2021 is almost 8 billion, as seen by the chart below. By dividing 8 billion by three, we can see where this is heading. If 6.66 billion shots have already been administered, and many of the experts in the medical community are projecting deaths from these shots within 2-5 years, that will leave us with approximately one third of the population that are expected to survive.

Does Scripture Command Us to Love & Esteem Ourselves?

By Maria Merola

Back in the 1980’s (when I was brand new in my walk with Messiah), I was hearing a lot of “Christian Psychology” being taught from church pulpits. In fact, I owned quite a few Psychology books as I had been trying to find healing from my past hurts as a child.

I had a tumultuous childhood, with much domestic violence in the home, as well as abuse from the Catholic Nuns. On that first night (when I surrendered my life to Yahuwshuwa as Messiah in February 1981), I consciously forgave all those who had abused me. I was wonderfully set free that night as I felt and heard the demons leaving me.

As I began to embark on my new-found faith in Messiah, I attended various churches in search of the truth. What I discovered, (to my dismay), was that many of these pastors and leaders were parroting secular humanist thinkers from Ancient Greek philosophy, and Atheistic Psychologists such as “Sigmund Freud.” These pastors and Christian leaders were telling us that we needed to “love ourselves more,” however, my Bible told me something different.

The Apostle Sha’uwl (Paul) warned about the characteristics that we would see in society in the latter days, before the return of our Messiah:

2nd Timotiyos (Timothy) 3:2 For men shall be LOVERS OF THEIR OWN SELVES, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 16:24 Then said Yahuwshuwa unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him DENY HIMSELF, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Psychology teaches that we need “more self-esteem,” but scripture tells us to esteem others more than ourselves:

Pilippiym (Philippians) 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each ESTEEM OTHER BETTER THAN THEMSELVES.

As I searched the scriptures, I discovered that the Christian Psychology books were teaching something diametrically opposed to what was being presented to me from the scriptures.

The final “straw that broke the camel’s back” came when my former husband David & I attended a “Psychotherapy Inner-Healing Seminar” with a group of people from our church in 1984. The seminar was conducted by a Christian Bible College Professor from Puerto Rico.

The leaders at his seminar had the attendees doing some very strange things, and I discerned “strange fire” in our midst (Leviticus 10:1; Numbers 3:4; 26:61).

One of the things that they had us doing was to get down onto the floor and curl up in the “fetal position” like we were in the womb. Our marriage partner was then supposed to pull out one limb at a time until our bodies were sprawled out onto the floor like a starfish.

The “Christian Psychotherapist” told us that he had nick-named this technique “The Flower.” He told us that once we were opened up on the floor like a flower, that our soul would “bloom” and we would be “set free!”

However, I questioned this man and I asked him “Where did you get this technique from?” He replied “From Sigmund Freud.”

I retorted to him “But the Bible tells us that it is the anointing of the Holy Spirit that breaks the yoke---not some technique invented by an Atheist!”

I was appalled that this man was using techniques that were not founded in the truth of scripture. I reminded this man of what our Messiah taught in opposition to what he was telling us:

Luqas (Luke) 4:18 The Spirit of YHWH is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenheartedto preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 10:27 “…. the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Another technique that they had us engage in was something called “Role Playing.” The counselors were supposed to pretend to be somebody from your past who had abused you. They would then act out a scenario where they would pretend that you were engaging in a real life conversation from your abuser. The abuser would then ask you to forgive them and you were supposed to experience some type of “catharsis.” I remember feeling very strange during this process, and I felt guilty for “taking back” those things that I had already given to YaHuWaH on the night that I was first “born-again” in February 1981.

Now, these counselors were making me “feel unforgiveness” all over again so that they could then claim that their techniques had healed me!

I remember feeling very confused, as I had already confessed my sins of unforgiveness, and bitterness that night when I gave my life to Yahuwshuwa in 1981. My husband at the time (David) and I left the seminar early as we felt a strange oppression there.

In the weeks following, I fasted and prayed asking YaHuWaH “Please show me what is wrong with me, Father...Why do I feel so uneasy and oppressed?”

I turned on the Television and was shocked to hear an interview taking place between Oprah Winfrey and members from the Church of Satan. These Satanists said to Oprah “We do not really believe in an entity named Satan..... Satanism is simply loving yourself.”

When I heard these words, I was in shock! I realized that the Christian Church was pushing the same agenda of “loving self” as the Satanists!

Then, the Heavenly Father directed me to look up the word “esteem” in the dictionary. The definition was very revealing: “To place a value upon; to appraise.”

That was when the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) spoke to me and said “Maria, what is the highest value that anyone can place upon you?”

Of course, I knew the answer----The blood of Messiah!

There was no monetary value high enough that could account for my worth and value in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. The purchase price would be something far above money.

1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 6:20 For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify Elohiym in your body, and in your spirit, which are Elohiym’s.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 52:3 For thus says YHWH, You have sold yourselves for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without money.

I understood that my value and worth was FAR GREATER than any human being could place upon me---including myself!

If YaHuWaH already ESTEEMS & LOVES us so perfectly, how do we think we are going to supplement that with “LOVE OF SELF AND SELF ESTEEM?”

He finally showed me that we do not need to supplement his love for us with “self love,” nor do we need to “esteem ourselves,” because he already does it so much better than we do!

In 1987, YaHuWaH showed his method for healing the brokenhearted through a parable that he taught about the “Good Samaritan.”

You can read the article at this link: “Messiah Seen in the Parable of the Good Samaritan: Freedom from Depression.”

We simply need a revelation of his perfect love and esteem for us and we must receive it wholeheartedly. That is when the true freedom comes!

In all my years growing up as a teenager, (when I was reading Psychology books), I kept trying to “muster up” some kind of pseudo-self-love, and it never worked. I ended up puffing up my ego and using carnal and fleshy ways to make myself feel better. I bragged, I lied, I dressed up in a worldly, and flashy way to get attention. This was my carnal attempt at loving myself.

Yet, I still struggled to see myself through the lens of my Heavenly Father. I still had demonic thoughts of suicide and despair. Once I began to meditate in the scriptures “day and night” like the Psalmist described, I experienced true peace and freedom:

Tehilliym (Psalm) 1:

Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the Towrah (law) of YHWH; and in his Towrah (law) does he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.

After I received these revelations from YaHuWaH, I began to share with my former pastor and his wife, as well as others at my church. These people, however had a difficult time grasping the concepts that I was presenting to them. I realized that our society and culture had been permeated with “narcissism,” which causes us to believe that we have to love ourselves in order to be able to love others.

I would often hear this rationale being recited: “You cannot love others until you love yourself.” This was the lie that I heard coming out of people’s mouths over and over again. However when I examined the scriptures, I realized that just the opposite was true. In order to love others, we must first be able to “deny ourselves.” Scripture commands us to “die daily” to our old selfish nature (1st Corinthians 15:31). When we are truly “dead to self,” we stop focusing on ourselves, and dwelling on our own problems. We begin to place others first in our lives, and that is when we begin to experience true peace and freedom. This is why our Messiah taught us the two “greatest commandments:”

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 22:

37 Yahuwshuwa said unto him, You shall love YHWH your Elohiym with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

The rationale of those who preach “love of self” stems from the above verse in Matthew 22:39. The proponents of this ideology suppose that our Messiah was “commanding us” to love ourselves. When we recognize that our Creator has built into every person the “instinct” of “self-preservation” and survival, he knows that we ALREADY love ourselves by virtue of those instincts!

However, some might say “I used to have self-destructive behavior, and I used to have self-hate…. I had to learn to love myself.”

My answer to those who have this reasoning is this: “What you thought was self-hate was actually love of self.”

When I was self-destructive and suicidal, Psychology would have me believe that I did not love myself enough. I realized much later in life as I read the scriptures, that my self-destructive behavior was an attempt to satisfy my longing to be absent from all pain. In reality, my destructive habits proved that I really loved myself too much, otherwise, I would not be seeking to escape the pain.

The best way to explain it is to give you a real-life example.

My former deceased husband, David had been given up for adoption by his biological parents since he was an infant. His adoptive parents adopted him when he was just a few months old. When David was only 12 years old, his adoptive parents told him that he was adopted. By the time he turned 14 years old, his adoptive father had a heart attack and died. David’s parents were students of the Bible and they taught him to believe in the Savior to the best of their ability. Yet, he still struggled with his identity, and felt as if YaHuWaH had abandoned and rejected him. He listened to the lie that told him “Your biological parents rejected you, now your adoptive father died, so this means that you are rejected by the Creator from the womb.” He believed that the Heavenly Father had also rejected him.

David discovered that he had a gift of playing the piano, and people gave him accolades when he played. He began to find “identity” in his own musical talents and abilities rather than his “son-ship” with the Heavenly Father. As a teenager, he began experimenting with drugs, and joined Rock’n Roll bands. By the time I met and married David, I was the lead vocalist in at Top-40 band as we traveled the United States playing music in night clubs. After I surrendered my life to Yahuwshuwa, I no longer needed music, and the ambition to be a “Rock Star” to define my identity. I recognized that my identity was in my Messiah alone.

David, however refused to allow the Creator to define him. He rebelled, and continued to pursue a life of drugs and selfish ambition to become a “Rock Star.” David began reading the “Satanic Bible,” and the devil lied to him by telling him that he had been “missing out.” He was seduced in his mind by Satan to believe that life as a follower of Messiah left him empty. He told me one day “It is high time that I start loving myself.” That is when he left the marriage and became a Satanist and a transgender.

His “love of self” is what motivated him to pursue a destructive life-style. He lived for the desires of the flesh, because he was only interested in pleasing himself, rather than pleasing YaHuWaH. Ultimately, he destroyed his own life by smoking cigarettes and using drugs. He died in 2013 at the age of 59 of lung cancer. Nevertheless, thankfully, he did repent on his death-bed and recommitted his life to the Messiah. After 32 years of praying for David to repent, my prayers were finally answered!

HalleluYah!

Love of self is, in reality a narcissistic obsession with “self” and it ultimately leads to destruction:

Luqas (Luke) 9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Luqas (Luke) 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

The instinct that is within all humans of self-preservation shows that we naturally seek to save our lives, and this is proof that we already love ourselves. Even those who attempt suicide are attempting to save themselves from a life of pain and misery. However, this ultimately leads to us losing our lives. It is self-love which causes us to seek to save ourselves. However, we are unable in our sinful, fallen state to save ourselves. We must look to a power higher than ourselves for love and salvation:

Ibriym (Hebrews) 12:2 Looking unto Yahuwshuwa the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of Elohiym.

Scripture tells us to keep our eyes on the Savior, rather than focusing on “self.” When we take our eyes off of ourselves, and we instead look to him, our attitude changes.

We live in an “upside down and backwards” mentality in this present world. In attempting to make ourselves happy by “loving ourselves” we end up hating ourselves. We must do the opposite of what the “Spirit of the world” tells us.

Some of you reading this may be saying to yourselves right now, “Oh, but when I use the term ‘love myself’ I mean it in a totally different way.” You may be rationalizing to yourself “When I express the idea of loving myself, I mean ‘self-preservation.’”

I totally understand this rationale. However, in our society, the lines have become blurred between the satanic idea of “self-love” and the biblical concept of “accepting the love of our Heavenly Father.”

Back in 1977, I can remember the hit song by George Benson playing on the radio entitled “The Greatest Love of All.” Whitney Houston did a remake of the song and she made it a big hit.

Let’s examine the lyrics to this song:

“I believe the children are our future …Teach them well and let them lead the way….Show them all the beauty they possess inside…”

*Note: Scripture declares that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14), and we have been created “in the image of Yah” (Genesis 1:27).

On the other hand, King David wrote in Psalm 51:5 that we were “formed in iniquity and conceived in sin.” It is important that we teach our children that any inner beauty that they may possess is not “inherent to human nature,” because we are born into the world as sinners. Inward beauty comes as a result of our spiritual connection with YaHuWaH and not of ourselves. Jeremiah 17:9 tells us that the “heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

The song continues: “Give them a sense of pride to make it easier….”

*Note: Proverbs 16:18 tells us that “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

Proverbs 8:13 says “The fear of YHWH is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.”

Proverbs 11:2 says “When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.”

The self-sufficiency preached in this song is destitute of our total dependency on the Savior:

“Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be…Everybody’s searching for a hero…People need someone to look up to….I never found anyone who fulfilled my needs…A lonely place to be….And so I learned to depend on me…”

*Note: This message leads one to believe that we must become our own hero and that we must look up to ourselves rather than to our Heavenly Father. YaHuWaH is the one who promises to fulfill our needs (Matthew 3:31-33). We are commanded not to lean on our own understanding, but in all of our ways to acknowledge YaHuWaH” (Proverbs 3:5).

The greatest love of all is touted as being the ability to love yourself, and it is implied that this love already lives within all of us. However,  scripture tells us that “love is a fruit of the Holy Spirit” (Galatians 5:22; 1st Corinthians 13:1-8).

The Lyrics to this song continued:

“I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone’s shadows…If I fail, if I succeed…At least I’ll live as I believe…No matter what they take from me…They can’t take away my dignity…Because the greatest love of all Is happening to me…I found the greatest love of all Inside of me…The greatest love of all…Is easy to achieve…Learning to love yourselfIt is the greatest love of all.”

These lyrics suggest that to walk in anyone’s shadow is a sign of weakness, but we are commanded to take refuge in the shadow of the Almighty:

Tehilliym (Psalm) 91:1 He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O Elohiym, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusts in you: yea, in the shadow of your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 63:7 Because you have been my help, therefore in the shadow of your wings will I rejoice.

Over the years, when I would hear this song on the radio, I would cringe inside as I realized that our society echoes the same sentiments as the Satanists.

The greatest love of all is what Scripture says it is. The greatest love of all is that our Heavenly Father loved us first:

1st Yahuwchanon (John) 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon usthat we should be called the sons of Elohiym: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

1st Yahuwchanon (John) 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved Elohiymbut that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Our ability to love is counted as worthless unless we recognize that it originated with him in the first place. In truth, we do not possess the ability to love the way that he does. Let us therefore, draw a clear distinction between the phraseology of “Love yourself,” and the biblical concept of “Accepting the Father’s love for you!”

In this way, we can let the world know that we are bankrupt as fallen human beings, and we do not possess the ability to love anybody on our own. Love is initiated first by our Father in Heaven, and he alone enables us to reciprocate back to him, and also to others. Therefore, “Love of Self” will always fall short.

The author of love is YaHuWaH, and he is the only one capable of loving us perfectly and completely.

Will Animal Sacrifices Continue in the Millennium?

By Maria Merola אריאל

For the average Sunday church-going Christian, the very suggestion of animal sacrifices continuing under our Messiah during the Millennium, sends shivers up and down their spines. They suppose that since our Messiah uttered these words “It is finished,” (John 19:30), it must mean that all of prophecy has been fulfilled, and there is nothing left to be done in the future.

However, nothing could be further from the truth!

First, I would like to address our Messiah’s famous last words “It is finished” in John 19:30.

What exactly was finished?

The phrase “It is finished” is only one word in the Greek Textus Receptus:

#5055 teleo from 5056; to end, i.e. complete, execute, conclude, accomplish, make an end, perform, pay.

#5056 telos to set out for a definite point or goal; the point aimed at as a limit. The conclusion of an act. Result, ultimate prophetic purpose.

The next question we should address is “What exactly did he put an end to, and what did he come to accomplish?”

The answer is found in Daniel 9:24. Daniel was shown a 490-year period whereby six things would be accomplished during that period. There are two schools of thought about Daniel’s 70th Week, and both are erroneous.

The first school of thought is called “Preterism,” which purports that all of Daniel’s 70th Week has been fulfilled.

The second school of thought is called “Futurism,” which purports that the last seven years of Daniel’s 70th Week is yet to be fulfilled in the future.

Both theories are wrong.

Our Messiah fulfilled the first half of Daniel’s 70th Week during his 3.5 years of ministry on earth, leaving only 3.5 years left in the future.

The Corporate “Two Witnesses” will finish the week on our Messiah’s behalf with a ministry of 1,260 days or 3.5 years (Revelation 11:3).

The entire 490 years are not successive. This 490-year prophecy is broken down into three segments.

In Daniel 9:25, it says there will be “Seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks.” This means 62 weeks of years, or 62 x 7, which equals 434 years.

The period of “seven weeks” is actually “seven weeks of years” equaling 49 years.  The period of “threescore and two weeks” (62 weeks) is equivalent to 434 years.

Daniel 9:27 says: “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week, and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…”

Thus, we have: 49 years + 434 years + 7 years divided in half, which means two segments of 3.5 years.

49 + 434 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 490 years.

I will not elaborate in this teaching about Daniel’s 70th Week, because I don’t want to stray from the topic at hand. To learn more about Daniel’s 70 Week Prophecy, see my other blog entitled: “Who Confirms the Covenant of Daniel’s 70th Week?”

If our Messiah fulfilled all six things in Daniel 9:24, the following six items should have already been fulfilled, and we know that they are not.

1.) To finish the transgression: The transgression of the Torah has not been finished, because people are still transgressing the Torah.

1st John 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Torah (law): for sin is the transgression of the Torah (law).

2.) To make an end of sins: We know that sin abounds all the more in these last days. Our Messiah made a way for sin to be atoned for, and for us to be forgiven (when we repent), but sin has not ended yet.

3.) To make reconciliation for iniquity: this piece has been fulfilled by our Messiah when he died on behalf of sinful humanity.

Hebrews 2:17 says: “Wherefore, in all things, it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful, and faithful high priest in things pertaining to Elohiym to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.”

4.) To bring in everlasting righteousness: We have not seen this yet, for we know this does not begin until Messiah returns to set up his Everlasting Kingdom.

5.) To seal up the vision and prophecy: We know the vision and prophecy have not yet been fulfilled, because it was told to Daniel in 12:4 that “The vision and prophecy will be finished in the latter days.”

6.) To anoint the Most Holy Place in the Temple: Our Messiah will rebuild the Tabernacle of David and the Ezekiel Temple upon his return, and this is when we will see “The Most Holy Place” anointed again.

Thus, it is obvious at this point, that our Messiah did not “FINISH” EVERYTHING!

What part did he finish?

He finished the 3rd item out of the six things listed in Daniel 9:24 “To make reconciliation for iniquity.”

Therefore, it is now crystal clear, why we cannot build a case that our Messiah “finished” everything there is to be done within the realm of prophecy. As a matter of fact, he clearly tells us in Matthew 5:17-19, that none of the Mosaic Law (Torah) has passed away yet!

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

And when does heaven and earth pass away?

Not until the end of the 1,000-year reign of Messiah on earth!

Hazown (Revelation) 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Hazown (Revelation) 21:2 And I Yahuwchanon (John) saw the holy city, new Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), coming down from Elohiym out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

All during the Millennium, our Messiah will teach the nations his Torah (instructions), which will include the prophetic significance of the animal sacrifices.

He will not be conducting animal sacrifices as a means of atoning for sins, because ANIMAL BLOOD NEVER TOOK AWAY SINS IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Ibriym (Hebrews) 10:4 For it is not possible, that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

So then, why will our Messiah perform animal sacrifices during the Millennium?

They will be done as a “MEMORIAL,” of himself!

Animal sacrifices during the Millennium will serve as “object lessons” for us to observe, and to understand their meaning. Many people fail to understand that all animal sacrifices done in the Temple were not for sin.

Many of the animal sacrifices were done for peace offerings, and for worship, such as the “evening and morning sacrifices.” The priests also had to eat food, and they were commanded to partake of the meat of these sacrifices. There was a practical, and a spiritual reason for these animal sacrifices.

The spiritual aspect is to show us a prophetic shadow picture of the “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world!” (Revelation 13:8). Just imagine, we will be eating beef & lamb barbeque with our Messiah during the Millennium!

Its like when a married couple watches their wedding video every year on their anniversary, or they look at the photo albums of their Wedding Day. They do not throw away the video or the photo album, just because they are now married!

They do not conclude that because they have already gotten married, their marriage vows are “Done away with!”

What most people fail to understand, is that the Millennium is a “transitional period,” leading up to The New Heaven & New Earth” coming down in the 8th Millennium.

This is what we are supposed to learn every year when we celebrate “The Feast of Tabernacles” (Sukkot).

Beyth Kefa (2nd Peter) 3:8 tells us that “ONE DAY IS LIKE A THOUSAND YEARS TO YAHUWAH!”

We are commanded in Leviticus 23:39-42 to dwell in “temporary shelters” for “seven days,” to remind us that this earth we dwell in, is a temporary earth, and the bodies that we dwell in are “temporary bodies,” that will be replaced by something permanent! We will have a permanent new heaven & earth, as well as a permanent, immortal, (incorruptible) body!

After seven days of living in tents (temporary shelters), we are commanded to celebrate on “The eighth day” after Sukkot, called “The Last Great Day,” or in Hebrew, “L’Shana Rabbah.”

This represents the eighth millennium, when we will no longer dwell on a temporary earth, for the new heaven and earth will replace the old one!

For “SEVEN DAYS,” (7,000 years), since the creation, we live on this temporary earth. Then, on the “EIGHTH DAY,” (8th millennium), the new heaven & earth will descend out of heaven!

Where are we shown in Scripture that Messiah will offer up sacrifices and oblations in the Millennium.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 45:22 And upon that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 46:2 And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) Ezekiel 46:4 And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto YHWH in the sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) Ezekiel 46:12 Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto YHWH, one shall then open him the gate that looks toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth one shall shut the gate.

Now, I know what some of you are asking yourselves: “Why in the world would our Messiah need to offer up sacrifices in the Tabernacle of David, when he already was that ultimate sacrifice for sins?”

The answer to that question is simple. Animal blood never took away sins in the first place!

Even under the Mosaic Covenant, animal sacrifices were already OBSOLETE!

The Work Has Been Finished In Eternity Past!

They were only meant to serve as a PROPHETIC SHADOW PICTURE OF THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD!!!

Ibriym (Hebrews) 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

Ephsiym (Ephesians) 1:4 According as he has chosen us in him FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.

Ibriym (Hebrews) 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although THE WORKS WERE FINISHED FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD

Ibriym (Hebrews) 9:26 For then must he often have suffered SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD: but now once in the end of the world has he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Aleph Kepha (1st Peter) 1:20 Who verily was foreordained BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, but was manifest in these last times for you.

Do you understand now?

Our Messiah has already finished the work in ETERNITY PAST!

The only reason why he demonstrated his sacrifice on the tree in front of us, is so that we would have a VISUAL PICTURE of what he has already done for us SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD!

Therefore, animal sacrifices were NEVER needed on earth, because their heavenly purpose has already been satisfied by Melchizedek!

They only served as a “PROPHETIC PICTURE” of our Messiah’s ultimate sacrifice for our sins!

We must understand, that if we do not continue to enact these animal sacrifices in the Millennium, it will be easy to “FORGET” what our Messiah has done for us!

This is the reason why we are commanded to “REMEMBER!”

Therefore, in the Millennium, animal sacrifices will be done as a prophetic picture “IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIM!”

What are we commanded to do in “remembrance” of our Messiah?

Was he talking about partaking of a communion wafer on Sunday mornings invented by the Roman Catholic Church? No, he was commanding us to offer up a Passover Lamb as “A MEMORIAL—IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE LAMB!”

Torah commands that we offer up a Passover Lamb only in Jerusalem, where he has chosen to place his name. Therefore, we are unable to sacrifice animals in any other place in the world, except for in Jerusalem. However, we are commanded to keep the reenactment of the Passover Lamb sacrifice by reading the account in Scripture.

Yet, in the Millennium, the entire purpose for our Messiah rebuilding the Tabernacle of David, is so that the same functions will be performed that were done in David’s Tabernacle!

Shemoth (Exodus) 12:14 And this day shall be unto you A MEMORIAL; and you shall keep it a feast to YHWH throughout your generations; YOU SHALL KEEP IT A FEAST BY AN ORDINANCE FOREVER.

Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.

1st Corinthians 11:24 And when had given thanks, he broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.

1st Corinthians 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do you, as often as you drink it, IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.

What about the Levitical Priesthood versus the Melchizedek Priesthood in the Millennium?

We have already established that “none” of the Torah and Prophets are done away with until “heaven and earth passes away.” And we know that this does not take place until after the 1,000-year reign of Messiah on earth.

We are told that Yahuwshuwa will “rebuild” the Tabernacle of David that has fallen down during his earthly reign:

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

Amowc (Amos) 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.

Ma’aseh Shlichiym (Acts of the Apostles) 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up.

Does Elohiym Dwell In Temples Made By Hands?

Often-times, I hear people quoting these verses out of the book of Acts, as they think these verses mean that YaHuWaH no longer dwells in brick-and-mortar Temples:

Acts 7:48 Howbeit the Most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as says the prophet.

Acts 17:24 Elohiym that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Master of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands.

However, we have the witness of Scripture, showing us that YaHuWaHs presence did dwell in the Tabernacle that he ordained:

Shemoth (Numbers) 20:6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of YHWH appeared unto them.

After the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant during the 1st Temple era, YaHuWaH caused his presence to depart from Yisra’el because of the sinful ways of Eli, the priest and his two wicked sons.

The entire account is seen in 1st Samuel 4:21-22. Ichabod (Hebrew: אִיכָבוֹד ʾĪḵāḇōḏ, without glory, is mentioned in the first Book of Samuel as the son of Phinehas, a priest at the biblical shrine of Shiloh, who was born on the day that the YisraelitesArk of Elohiym was taken into Philistine captivity.

His mother went into labour due to the shock of hearing that her husband and Eli, her father-in-law, had died and that the Ark had been captured. 1st Samuel 4:21–22 tells how Ichabods mother named him because the glory had departed from Yisrael, because of the loss of the Ark to the Philistines, and perhaps also because of the deaths of Eli and Phinehas. She repeated the phrase The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured

However, during the 2nd Temple Era, YaHuWaHs glory later came to dwell in the temple built by Solomon after his fervent and humble prayer in 2nd Chronicles 6-7. He chose to allow his presence—again evident through the radiance and splendor of his glory—to remain in the temple for centuries.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also YHWH sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

In the verses leading up to Acts 7:48, Stephen was preaching against pagan idols, therefore, the context of “The Most High dwells not in temples made with handsis about how our Creator does not dwell in human-inspired statues and idols:

Acts 7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

Acts 7:41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

Acts 7:42 Then Elohiym turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O you house of Yisrael, have you offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

Acts 7:43 Yea, you took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which you made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Acts 7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

The same thing is true in Acts 17, where the Apostle Paul is preaching against pagan idols:

Act 17:22 Then Shaul (Paul) stood in the midst of Mars hill, and said, You men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious.

Act 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore you ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

Act 17:24 Elohiym that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Master of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands;

Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with mens hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things.

As you can see, Paul used the altar to the “Unknown God” as an opportunity to preach about YaHuWaH who forbids being worshipped through statues or idols. The context, once again, is not about YaHuWaH's Temple design.

When looking up the English words “made with hands” in Acts 7:48 & 17:24, it’s just one Greek word as follows:

As you can see, this word means “By the skill of men,” and the context of Acts 7 & 17 was about human-inspired pagan idols. The context is not about the Temple of YaHuWaH.

In the case of the Temple or Tabernacle, the design was given by YaHuWaHs inspiration (not by human inspiration). Not only was it given by his divine instructions, but he also filled certain humans with his divine wisdom, and skills to construct everything for the Termple/Tabernacle:

Shemoth (Exodus) 28:3 And you shall speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aarons garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Shemoth (Exodus) 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of Elohiym, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

Shemoth (Exodus) 35:31 And he has filled him with the spirit of Elohiym, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

To What Purpose will David’s Tabernacle be Rebuilt by our Messiah?

During the 1,000-year reign of Messiah, he will “Teach us of his ways!”

This means, all the animal sacrifices, (and their prophetic purpose) will be explained to us. This will be done so that we can have an accurate picture of what Messiah has done for us.

Without the template of the Tabernacle, we do not have an accurate picture of Messiah, for he is the “schematic” or the “blueprint” of the Tabernacle of Moses & David!

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the Elohiym of Ya’aqob (Jacob); and HE WILL TEACH US OF HIS WAYS, and we will walk in his paths: FOR OUT OF TZIYOWN (ZION) SHALL GO FORTH THE TORAH, AND THE WORD OF YHWH FROM YERUSHALAYIM (Jerusalem).

Miykayahuw (Micah) 4:2 And many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, and to the house of the Elohiym of Ya’aqob (Jacob); and HE WILL TEACH US OF HIS WAYS, and we will walk in his paths: FOR THE TORAH SHALL GO FORTH OF TZIYOWN (ZION), AND THE WORD OF YHWH FROM YERUSHALAYIM (Jerusalem).

What are the Differences between the Tabernacle of Moses & the Tabernacle of David?

Well, that is for another blog. But I will share this, only. The Tabernacle of David had two different priesthoods functioning together “side-by-side.” There were the “Sons of Aaron,” as well as the “Sons of Zadok.” Both families were from the Tribe of Levi, but they were from different family bloodlines within that tribe.

The Hebrew word “Zadok” is as follows in the Concordance:

#6659 Tsadowq tsaw-doke from #6663, just, justice, Tsadok, the name of eight or nine Israelites.

#6663 tsadaq tsaw-dak to be right, (in a moral or forensic sense), clear, righteousness

#6664 tsedeq tseh’dek from #6663, the right, moral, legal, equity, justice.

#6666 tsdaqah tsed-aw-kaw from #6663 rightness, justice, morally just.

It is from these root words that we get the compound word “Melchizedek.”

#4442 Malkiy-Tsedeq mal-kee-tseh'-dek from 4428 and 6664; king of right; Malki-Tsedek, an early king in Palestine:--Melchizedek.

The word “Malkiy” means “King.”

The word “Tsedeq” means “Righteousness.”

Therefore, David’s Tsadowq (Zadok) were a prophetic shadow picture of the Melchizedek Priesthood of our Messiah, that will serve under his leadership in the Millennium.

Ibriym (Hebrews) 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

Why did David have Two Priesthoods Functioning in his Tabernacle?

To adequately answer that question, I must give a bit of background information. Abraham had two kinds of “seed.”

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 22:17 That in blessing, I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

Sand upon the seashore = earthly, physical descendants.
Stars of the heaven = spiritual, born from above descendants.

Those that are the “born-again” descendants of Abraham through Messiah, will be taken to heaven for seven literal days on the Feast of Trumpets for the wedding.

This is the bride, who has made herself ready, and will return with Messiah riding on white horses, to fight as his army in the Yom Kippur war with him (see Revelation 19).

The Yahuwdiym (Jews), that do not worship the beast, nor his image (but they don’t know Yahuwshuwa as the Messiah yet), will go through “Ten days of tribulation” (Revelation 2:10). During this time, they will “Go buy the oil of his name” (see Song of Solomon 1:3 & Matthew 25).

These are the remnant Yahuwdiym (Jews) that are living in Jerusalem in the last days who “Sigh and cry at the abominations” (Ezekiel 9). They will meet our Messiah at the Mount of Olives when he returns, and they will “Look upon him whom they have pierced...” (Zechariah 12:10).

They will not be given an incorruptible, immortal body yet, until the end of the 7th Millennium, when the new heaven & earth comes down. Although, many of them that are martyred for their faith, (according to Revelation 2:10), they will be resurrected, but will most likely be in their natural mortal bodies during the Millennium, and still procreating natural children.

And since Yahuwshuwa will rebuild the Tabernacle of David, which has fallen down (Amos 9:11, Acts 15:16), we know know that David’s Tabernacle was used for animal sacrifices. David had both Priesthoods working together!

There was the Zadok Priesthood (a prophetic shadow of the Melchizedek Priesthood) and, the Sons of Aaron working together “side-by-side.”

This was a preview of Messiah’s 1,000-year reign!

Yahuwshuwa will be “THE GREATER KING DAVID,” who offers sacrifices as the High Priest, Melchizedek.

Those that receive immortal bodies, will be part of that same Royal Priesthood with Messiah, serving with him in the Temple.

Aleph Kefa (1st Peter) 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Just as in David’s Tabernacle, both priesthoods will be serving “side-by-side” during the Millennium. Those from the Sons of Aaron, that were not born-again in time for the “harpazo” (catching away of the bride) on the Feast of Trumpets, will serve him in their natural bodies during the Millennium.

They will not be given immortal (incorruptible) bodies yet, until the end of the Millennium, when the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven. Thus, the Millennium will be a transitional period, where the earthly descendants of Abraham, and those that are “born from above” will work together side-by-side.”

Revelation 21:1-2 tells us that once the new heaven & earth come down (at the end of the 1,000-year reign), the bride will become “THE NEW JERUSALEM,” adorned for her husband.

In the New Jerusalem, YaHuWaH Almighty and the Lamb will be the Temple (Revelation 21:22), therefore, there will no longer be a need for a Temple made with hands, or of brick and mortar.

The New Jerusalem will be made up of the bride, as she is called “LIVELY STONES!”

Aleph Kefa (1st Peter) You as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Elohiym by Yahuwshuwa ha’Mashiyach.

See my blog explaining that the Levitical system is “GETTING READY TO VANISH AWAY,” but it has not vanished away yet!

Not until the end of the Millennium, when the new heaven and earth arrive!
