Predictive Programming in the Omen Films

Predictive Programming in the Omen Films about Trump: Comparing Damien Thorn to Donald Trump.

Each of their names has 11 letters, and their initials are DT.

Damien = 6 letters
Thorn = 5 letters.

Donald = 6 letters.
Trump = 5 letters.

Back in 1981, I went to the Movie Theater to watch the Omen Movie Part 3, “The Final Conflict” about Damien Thorn, the Antichrist. What I did not know back then, is that the movie entitled “The Omen” (played by Sam Neill) was filled with Predictive Programming about Donald J. Trump!

The first thing I noticed when researching this, is that the Movie Poster for “The Omen IV” says on it “The Awakening,” which is very similar to “The Great Awakening” that is taking place right now with the New Agers and the QAnon Movement!

There are many striking, and disturbing parallels between Donald Trump and Damien Thorn of the OMEN movies:

*First, the initials “DT” in both names are the same.

*Interesting note: The Hebrew Letter “Dalet” (equivalent to the English D) means “the door.” The Hebrew Letter “Taw” means “the last, or the end.” The initials “DT” stand for “The Door to the End!”

*Also, Damien & Donald both contain 6 letters; Thorn & Trump both contain 5 letters, for a total of 11 letters.

Meaning of Damien: Damien means “powerful man of the people” and “to tame” (from Greek “daman” = powerful + “demos” = people or “damazein” = to tame/subdue).

Meaning of the name Donald: Donald is a masculine given name derived from the Gaelic name Dòmhnall. This comes from the Proto-Celtic Dumnoualos (“world-ruler” or “world-wielder”). Newsmax CEO: Now Trump can be President of the World Both names imply one who dominates, rules, and subdues the people!

As mentioned previously, Revelation 6:2 describes the rider on the white horse that goes forth to “conquer” the people. The Greek word for “conquer” is “nikao,” which means “to subdue, to enslave.”

*In the Omen Film, Damien Thorn becomes the President of the United States, just like Donald Trump.

*Both Donald Trump & Damien Thorn attended military academies. (As a side note, Trump is the 4th President in history to attend a Military Academy in his youth).

*Both became fabulously rich via inheritances; Trump inherited $413 million per the New York Times. *Both turned their inheritances into vast multinational, Business enterprises and bought real estate all over the globe.

*Both had older brothers who died, allowing the younger sons to take over the family businesses. *Damien Thorn takes over Thorn Industries in 1971; Donald Trump took over the Trump Organization in 1971.

*The actor Sam Neill who played the Antichrist was born September 14th, 1947. Donald Trump was born June 14th, 1946. Thus, they are very close in age and both born on the Ides of the Month, which means a FULL MOON.

*Both Damien Thorn & Donald Trump own a winery.

More parallels between Damien Thorn and Donald Trump In the movie Omen II, Damien’s birthdate is revealed as 6-6-6 (June 6, 1966), and that is the exact date of the death of Donald Trump’s grandmother, Elizabeth Christ Trump.

It was Elizabeth Christ Trump who incorporated the Trump family business that Donald Trump took over and ran after her death. Thus, Donald Trump became the heir of the Trump family business on the same day that Damien Thorn was born!

Donald J. Trump was therefore, “born” into the family inheritance on June 6, 1966, just like Damien Thorn in the Omen Movie! Donald J. Trump & 666

1.) The Trumps own the most expensive building ever purchased in the US, at 666 Fifth Avenue, a street symbolic of money (mammon).

2.) The Trumps paid $1.8 billion for the 666 tower. And 18 is the sum of 6 + 6 + 6 (666). The 666 tower is held by Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. The 666 building is home to Lucent Technologies (previously called Lucifer Technologies), and its RFID microchip (The Mark of the Beast). Lucent has technologies called Inferno, Styx and Limbo. The 666 building appears in the movies Exorcist II, The Heretic, and The Wolf of Wall Street.

3.) The Trumps are also in the process of building a $666 million tower at One Journal Square. According to multiple reports the height will be 666 feet.

4.) According to multiple reports, the famous Trump Tower is 203 meters tall. And 203 meters = 666 feet. The Trumps live on the 66th floor!

5.) In the first year of Trump’s presidency, (fiscal year 2017), the budget deficit swelled to 666 billion dollars! (Per Fox Business and other sources.) This reminds me of when King Solomon earned 666 talents of gold in one year (1st Kings 10:14).

6.) Donald Trump inherited his grandmother’s real estate empire when she died on June 6, 1966 = 6-6-6. Her name was Elizabeth Christ Trump.

7.) Donald Trump’s name equates to 666 in Jewish Gematria, English Gematria, and ASCII computer code.

8.) Trump announced his candidacy for president on June 16, 2015 = 6 + (1 x 6) + (1+5) = 666. 9.) On the Ides of March 2016, he had 666 delegates.

The Fall Feasts of YaHuWaH in the Seventh Hebrew Month

 Double Portion Inheritance Newsletter

September 4th 2013

There seems to be some confusion about the fact that on the 1st day of the 7th month of Tishri, the Jewish people refer to “Yom Teruw’ah” as their New Year or “Rosh Ha’Shanah” (The Civil New Year) but the scriptures call it “a day of blowing” or “Yom Teruw’ah” (The Feast of Trumpets).

*Note: The oil painting is featured by Messianic Artist, Angela Mae Cheetham.

There are actually two calendars represented in scripture that we can observe, and they all revolve around the seven annual feasts as well as the three main harvest seasons in Yisra’el. The first is the “Civil Calendar” which begins on the 1st of Tishri (the 7th month), and the second is the “Sacred Calendar” which begins on Abib (Aviv or Nisan). From Genesis 1 to Exodus 12, scripture uses the Civil Calendar when referring to dates. However, in Exodus 12, Elohiym instituted a second calendar which begins on Abib/Aviv (Nisan). This is the “Sacred Calendar,” which the Bible uses when referring to dates from Exodus 12 thru Revelation 22.

The Sacred Calendar is Seven Months Long

In Exodus 12, YaHuWaH Elohiym instituted a second calendar which begins on the 1st of Abib (Aviv or Nisan). This is the “Sacred Calendar” which the Towrah uses when referring to dates from Exodus 12 thru Revelation 22. The Sacred Calendar marks the beginning of the Sacred or Spiritual New Year and it governs the timing of YaHuWaH’s Feasts outlined in Leviticus 23.

YaHuWaH’s Feasts set the appointed times (days) for the manifestation of Elohiym’s redemption in Messiah Yahuwshuwa, which has to do with our spiritual position in him. Passover celebrates the beginning of our salvation through the blood of Yahuwshuwa (The Passover Lamb), and takes place in the first month of the Sacred Calendar. Consequently, the 1st of Abib (Aviv/Nisan) marks the beginning of Elohiym’s Spiritual New Year in Messiah that he established at the Exodus:

Shemoth (Exodus) 12:1-2 And YHWH spoke unto Mosheh (Moses) and Aharown (Aaron) in the land of Mitzrayim (Egypt) saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Shemoth (Exodus) 13:

3 And Mosheh (Moses) said unto the people, Remember this day, in which you came out from Mitzrayim (Egypt), out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand YHWH brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

This day came you out in the month Abib.

The word “Abib” is #24 in the Strong’s Hebrew Concordance: to be tender; green; young ear of grain; hence the name of the month Abib; green ears of corn (not maize).

Consequently, the Jewish people have a “fiscal year” where they “account” for their harvest. Many businesses today have what is called “a fiscal year” where the company does their annual inventory in the autumn of the year as they report their income to the government. This is the same thing that the Jews mean when they refer to this time of year as a “Civil New Year” called “Rosh Ha’Shanah.”

However, in the 1st month of the year called Abib (Aviv or Nisan), this commemorates the time when YaHuWaH brought Yisra’el out of Egypt. This is to be celebrated 14 days before Passover.

The idea of calling the 1st day of the 7th month of Tishri “Rosh Ha’Shanah” comes from the fact that on the “Rabbinic Calendar” reckoning, they are using the calendar that was instituted before YaHuWaH brought Yisra’el out of Egypt.

Two scriptures are primarily used to defend the Jewish New Year as Rosh Ha’Shanah:

Shemoth (Exodus) 23:16 “The feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when you have gathered in your labours out of the field.”

Shemoth (Exodus) 34:22 “You shall celebrate... the Feast of Ingathering at the turn (revolution) of the year.”

The End of a Seven-Month-Long “Sacred Year”

The end of the year mentioned in these two scriptures refers to Yisra’el’s Sacred Calendar whereby the feasts are measured based on a seven-month-long cycle. These feasts begin with Passover and end seven months later with Tabernacles. This agricultural year begins with the spring barley harvest during the season of Passover and ends with the fall wheat harvest on the last day of Tabernacles (Sukkoth). This agricultural calendar is based on a seven-month-long lunar cycle, which refers to the monthly rotation of the moon around the earth. Thus we can observe that the seasons of harvest revolve around the Spring & Fall Feasts of YaHuWaH:

1.) The Spring Barley Harvest on First-Fruits following Passover.
2.) The First Wheat Harvest on Shabuwot (Pentecost).
3.) The Grape Harvest on the Day of Wrath for the wicked (Yom Kippur).
4.) The Second Wheat Harvest during the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).

We see this seven-month cycle described as follows in scripture:

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 8:22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The word for “seedtime” in the above verse is as follows:

#H2233 zera` zeh'·rah seedchild, carnally, carnally, fruitful, seedtime, sowing time, semen, offspring, descendants, posterity, children.

This gives us a hint that the season of the Fall Feasts is when our Messiah was born and when the future bride of Messiah will also be “born” into immortality!

The words below in Hebrew are used to describe the end of the harvest season:

#8622 tquwphah: tek-oo-faw from #5362; a revolution (of the sun) course of time; circuit, come about, end.

#5362 naqaph: to strike with more or less violence; beat, knock together; surround or circulate; cut down, destroy, go around.

This word “naqaph” refers to the season of threshing the wheat. The wheat is “beaten” so that the chaff is left behind and nothing but the wheat is left. The bride of Messiah must go through “tribulation” so that she can be harvested as “wheat.” The old sinful body must be destroyed so that the new resurrected body of the “incorruptible seed” can be revealed!

Yisra’el’s lunar-based agricultural year ends at the conclusion of Sukkoth, with the winter wheat harvest at the last feast of the agricultural year which represents “the end-time harvest” for the New Covenant believers. The “first-fruits” harvest for those who were redeemed when Messiah resurrected happened during the Spring Feasts representing all those saved under the “Old Covenant” (see Ephesians 4 & Luke 16). To find out more about the how to determine a biblical new moon, see the link below:

At his first coming, Yahuwshuwa fulfilled the role of “Messiah Ben Joseph” because he came as a “suffering servant” typified in the life of Yahuwceph (Joseph) who was rejected by his brothers (the ten sons of Yisra’el).

At his second coming, Yahuwshuwa will return as “Messiah Ben David,” the conquering reigning king as a prophetic “type” of King David who will sit on the throne and rule all 12 Tribes of Yisra’el from Yerushalayim (Jerusalem).

Because Ancient Yisra’el was an agriculturally-based nation, their feasts and celebrations revolved around the planting seasons. Their agricultural calendar only included seven lunar-based months, which began in the month of Abib and ended in the month 7th month of Tishri.

Yisra’el also functioned with a fiscal year of a twelve-month long calendar-year, related to the solar cycle of the sun, (which is based on the rotation of the earth around the sun), Yisra’el’s twelve-month solar calendar begins at Abib and ends with the 12th month of Adar but in some years there is a 13th month called Adar II for leap years.

The Jewish tradition to have the New Year begin on Yom Teruw’ah places it before the fall harvest of Sukkoth. This does not make sense however, because YaHuWaH commands us to observe “The Feast of the Ingathering” at the end of the year with the fruit of our labors (Exodus 23:16). To begin a New Year fifteen days before the eight-day harvest begins (on the Feast of Tabernacles), and twenty-three days before it ends, violates Towrah. This is why I do not advocate calling the Feast of Trumpets “Rosh ha’Shanah.” But I can certainly understand why the Jewish people recognize this time of year as the “end of the harvest year.”

The New Year is in the month called “Abib” (Aviv) according to Exodus 12-13. No place in scripture does YaHuWaH command us to call the Feast of Trumpets “the first of the year.”

The Civil Calendar

The first word in the Bible is “bereshyith,” which means “in the beginning,” and is a direct reference to the beginning of Elohiym’s creation (Genesis 1:1).

#7225 re’shiyth: ray-sheeth from the same as 7218; the first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically, a firstfruit): beginning, chief, first, principle thing.

#7218 rosh: roshe from an unused root apparently meaning to shake the head (as most easily shaken), whether literal or figurative (in many applications, of place, time rank): beginning, captain, chief place, company, end, excellent, first, forefront, head, height, highest part, priest, lead, poor, principal, ruler, sum, top.

As you can see, the word “Bereshiyth” (Genesis) means “in the beginning” and it has the same root as “Rosh” or “head” as in “Rosh Ha’Shanah,” which means “beginning” or “head of the year.”

Consequently, the traditional Hebraic understanding is that Elohiym began his creation on the Jewish Rosh Ha’Shanah in the 7th month of Tishri. Leviticus 25 confirms this because the Jubilee Cycles and Sabbatical Years are measured on the 10th day of the 7th month of Tishri, indicating that our linear time is being measured in the 7th month.

Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 25:9 Then shall you cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 25:10 And you shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and you shall return every man unto his possession, and you shall return every man unto his family.

Thus we can see that the 1st day of the 7th month of Tishri marks the beginning of the Civil Calendar which tallies the years of mankind from the beginning of creation. Hence, the traditional Jewish “Rosh Ha’Shanah” (the 1st day of the 7th month of Tishri) according to the Jewish Calendar, marks the beginning of the Civil New Year which is measured on the Civil Calendar.

The “Civil Calendar” is not a rabbinic corruption of the calendar as I had originally thought, but it is a biblical reckoning that measures time itself, because it determines the number of years (linear time) from the beginning of creation until the end of the creation (approximately 7,000 years).

Consequently, if we believe that the total number of years from the creation of this earth to the end of Messiah’s 1,000-year reign is 7,000 years, we are counting those 7,000 years on the “Civil Calendar.” This means that there will be a total of 7,000 “Jewish Rosh Ha’Shanah’s” from the beginning to the ending. However, the linear years will be observed on Yom Kippur, not on Yom Teruah. Scripture does not call this feast day “Rosh Ha’Shanah.” The Towrah refers to the 1st day of the 7th month as follows:

Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:24 Speak unto the children of Yisra’el, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 29:1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have an holy convocation; you shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.

If you read Numbers 29:1 in Hebrew it says:

“And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work: it is a Yowm [day] of Teruw’ah [blowing the trumpets] unto you.”

The Civil Calendar also governs the seven-year cycle called “the sabbatical year” or the “shmittah,” when all debts were forgiven, all slaves were set free, and the land was given a sabbatical rest (Deuteronomy 15:1-3). It also measures the 50 years of the Jubilee cycle when slaves were not only freed, but all ancestral plots of land were restored back to their original owners (Leviticus 25:8-12). Consequently, the Civil New Year, which starts on the 1st day of the 7th month of Tishri is very important and should not be written off as “rabbinic tradition.”

Civil & Sacred Calendars Unite on the 1st of Tishri

The Spring Feasts celebrate Messiah’s first coming as the Passover Lamb to save his people (the first-born sons of Yisra’el). And the Fall Feasts celebrate his second coming to rule and reign on the earth for 1,000 years. Yom Teruw’ah (Feast of Trumpets) is the first of the fall feasts which celebrate the great end-time harvest. This is where Yahuwshuwa reaps “the elect” who are the “wheat” (as opposed to the false tares) into his presence, and the unbelievers are reaped into the wine-press of his great wrath (Revelation 14:14-20).

Therefore, the 1st of Tishri (Yom Teruw’ah) celebrates the prophetic fulfillment of Messiah’s return to begin his millennial reign on earth as King of Kings (civil authority) and Master of Masters (spiritual authority). Thus, the Jewish Rosh Ha’Shanah (the 1st of Tishri on the Civil Calendar) counts each linear year of Elohiym’s creation and determines the year of Messiah’s return as King, while Yom Teruw’ah (the 1st of Tishri on the Sacred Calendar) celebrates the appointed time (day) of his return as our spiritual High Priest (Melchizedek).

What is the Testimony of Yahuwshuwa?

Many of you have read the familiar passage in Revelation 19:10 “The Testimony of Yahuwshuwa is the Spirit of Prophecy…” But how many of you know what the “Testimony of Yahuwshuwa” really is? His Testimony can be found in all seven of his Feasts!

See the blog at the link below:

“What is the Testimony of Yahuwshuwa?”

On August 8th 2013, marked the beginning (Rosh) of the 6th Hebrew month (Chodesh) which is called the Hebrew month of “Elul.” The month of “Elul” means “the month of accounting.” It is a time of introspection and allowing YaHuWaH to search our hearts. It is a time of repentance and preparing our hearts to meet the King on “Yom Kippur” the day that is prophetically called “face-to-face.”

Our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa was immersed (baptized) on the first of Elul, and he fasted and prayed for forty days leading up to Yom Kippur. But how can we be sure of this?

See the blog below:

“Messiah’s Forty Days of Fasting Leading Up to Yom Kippur!”

On September 6th or 7th (in 2013), at sundown (depending on the sighting of the crescent moon) begins the “Feast of Trumpets” called “Yom Teruw’ah” in Hebrew and it means “Day of Blowing.”

Traditionally, the nation of Yisra’el would usher in all of their kings of Yahuwdah (Judah) with the blowing trumpets on this feast day!

It is no surprise, then that our Heavenly Father, YaHuWaH was introducing his Son, the King of Kings into the world also on the “Feast of Trumpets!”

This is the true birth our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa!

In the year that he was born, in 3 B.C. Yom Teruw’ah fell on September 11th and he was conceived on Chanukkah, December 13th in 4 B.C.

There is astrological and biblical evidence to support this, so please read the blog and download the ebook entitled:

“When Was the Real Messiah Born & Why Does it Matter?”

The Feast of Trumpets is projected (in 2013), to be either at sundown on September 6th or 7th  which is called “Yom Teruw’ah,” aka “Day of Blowing.”

We have often heard this familiar passage of scripture being used to “write off” end-time prophecy as something that is too obscure to be understood:

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 24:36 But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the malak (angels) of heaven, but my Father only.

But did you know that this phrase “The Day that No Man Knows” is a Hebrew Idiom to describe the Feast of Trumpets called “Yom Teruw’ah?”

When our Messiah declared that “no man knows the day nor the hour” of his coming, he was giving us a hint!

He wants his bride know that he is coming for her on the Feast of Trumpets, prophetically called “The Day that No Man Knows!”

See the blog entitled:

Yom Teruw’ah: “The Day that No Man Knows!”

Yom Kippur is coming up projected to begin at sundown on the 15th or the 16th of September (in 2013), and it is important that you understand the role of the “Heavenly Father & the Son” seen in the “Yom Kippur Twin Goats.”

In Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 9:6 we see a prophecy about the “Son” being born to us, and he shall also be called “The Everlasting Father” (Abiyad).

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty Elohiym, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

In the Hebrew Old Testament on esword, it is #5703 seen as five letters: Aleph, Beyt, Yad, Ayin, Dalet: דאביע

Ab (Father) and Ad (everlasting) which put together is ABYAD. What does this word Abyad mean? Let’s look at the Hebrew Letters that spell this word:

Aleph = the head of an ox, or the red heifer, power, strong leader.
Beyt = the family, the house.
Yod = the arm or hand.
Ayin = the eye.
Dalet = the door.

So we have the Father (Ab) which means “the head of the household, the leader.” And then we have the Yod, which means “the arm” (this is the Messiah who implements the Father’s plan). And then we have the eye and the door (ayin, dalet), seen by the two letters “Ad,” since the door to eternity is Messiah (John 10:7-9), and he watches over us and instructs us with his “eye” (Psalm 32:8). The Father of the house is the arm, the eye and the door! This shows us a picture of the Father and the Son as one being----ABYAD!

The Father, YaHuWaH and the Son, Yahuwshuwa are one and the very same being! This is the reason why so many are falling away from Messiah within the Hebraic Root’s Community. It is because they cannot see that the Father & the Son are one and the same person.

Another example can be seen with the 4th son of Ya’aqob (Jacob) named Yahuwdah (Judah). He was the “father-in-law” of Tamar and he became the “kinsman redeemer” for Tamar. Judah was the close relative of his oldest son “Er” who died without giving Tamar a son. Therefore, Yahuwdah (Judah) was unknowingly fulfilling the “law of the kinsman redeemer” found in Deuteronomy 25:5-10.

Yahuwdah (Judah) promised to send his son (Shelah) but Judah himself (the father) became the kinsman redeemer when he impregnated Tamar with twins!

Before Judah went into Tamar, he promised to send her a “goat” (the Yom Kippur scapegoat that is sent). This is a picture of the Heavenly Father who became the kinsman redeemer and he “sent” his Son (the Yom Kippur scapegoat) as the “oath” for the widowed wife (Yisra’el).

Please see the blogs below:

“The Twin Goats on Yom Kippur Fulfilled in Messiah Yahuwshuwa.”

“The Father & the Son Seen in Judah, the Kinsman Redeemer.”

What is “The Lord’s Day?”

By Maria Merola
© Copyright Double Portion Inheritance, July 5, 2007
http://www.DoublePortionInheritance.com/

In the Book of Revelation, the Apostle Yahuwchanon (John) was “in the spirit” on what is called “The Lord’s Day,” as he was shown prophetic visions of things that would take place in the future.

Yahuwchanon (John) 1:

9 I Yahuwchanon (John), who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Yahuwshuwa Mashiyach, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of Elohiym, and for the testimony of Yahuwshuwa Mashiyach.
10 I was in the Ruwach (Spirit) on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet…
For many years, I have heard pastors in churches speak of “The Lord’s Day” from the pulpit, as if it was referring to “Sunday,” as the designated day of worship.
Often-times I have encountered those who use Acts 20:7 as an excuse to say that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday. They rationalize that the disciples “broke bread” on the “first day of the week.” However, a careful examination of the entire counsel of Scripture, reveals that John was not caught up to heaven on “Sunday Morning.” Acts chapter 20 provides proof that the disciples were still keeping the feasts, and the weekly Sabbath, after our Messiah ascended back to the Father.
Acts 20:

6 And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

7 And upon the first [day] of the weekwhen the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

The first thing that I want to address is the word “day” in verse 7 which is in italics in the King James Version of the Bible. Whenever a word is italicized in the KJV, it means that it was added into the text to help the sentence structure flow better.

A new calendar “date” begins at sundown according to our Creator (Genesis 1:5). It was Pope Gregory in 1582 who caused the calendar date to change at midnight. This means that this was not the “day time hours,” but it was a new calendar “date” on Saturday evening when the weekly Sabbath ends. Thus, the new week begins at sundown on Saturday, which is called “Havdalah” meaning “exiting the Sabbath.”

The second thing that I want to point out is that the word “week” in verse 7 is actually the plural “weeks” which is “Sabbaton” in Greek.
Verse 6 gives us “context” because it says that the Apostles had just sailed away from Philippi “AFTER THE DAYS OF UNLEAVENED BREAD.” Leviticus 23:6 tells us that we are commanded to eat no leaven for “SEVEN DAYS” and we are also commanded to eat “UNLEAVENED BREAD” during these same “SEVEN DAYS.”

This tells us that the Apostles were now “counting seven Sabbaths” following the completion of the Feast of Unleavened Bread as commanded in the Towrah:

Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:

15 And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto YHWH.

Leviticus 23:15-16 commands us to begin counting seven Sabbaths on the “morrow” after the weekly Sabbath following Passover. On the fiftieth day it is called “The Feast of Weeks” otherwise known as “Pentecost” in Greek meaning “fiftieth day.” The Apostles were not observing a weekly event of “breaking bread” on Sunday as many have falsely assumed. They had just finished observing the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days, and now, it was sundown on Saturday Night and it was the “first of the weeks” (plural).

This event in Acts 20 took place years after our Messiah’s death, burial, and resurrection; and yet the Apostles were still keeping the Feasts of YaHuWaH outlined in the Towrah (Mosaic Law)! This is further proof that the Towrah (Mosaic Law) was not made obsolete because of Messiah’s sacrifice.

The English phrase which begins Acts 20:7 is translated from the Greek phrase “EN DE TA MIA TON SABBATON.” A literal translation into the English is as follows:

“In the first of the sevens . . .”

There is a two-fold meaning to what is termed as “The Lord’s Day,” because in 2nd Peter 3:8, we find out that one day is as a thousand years to YaHuWaH:

2nd Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with YHWH as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The logical conclusion that I had come to years ago, was that “The Lord’s Day” was the seventh day of the week, (Sabbath) because of Yahuwshuwa’s own claim that he himself is “Lord of the Sabbath” (Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, Luke 6:5).

I still believe that the 7th day weekly Sabbath is indeed “The Lord’s Day.” However, this term goes much deeper than just the weekly “Lord’s Day” or the Sabbath. This term has to do with the prophetic 7,000th year since creation, which some people refer to as “The Sabbath Millennium.”

If there is one thing that I have come to understand about scripture, there is always corroborating evidence in both the Tanakh (Old Testament) well as the Briyth Chadashah (New Testament) to support a doctrine. We can never ever use just one passage of scripture to form a doctrine. Yahuwshuwa told us that all things written about him in the Law, Prophets and Psalms, must be fulfilled (Luke 24:44). Therefore, when establishing any doctrine, Yahuwshuwa taught that “out of the mouth of two or three witnesses” everything must be established (Matthew 18).
Concerning the subject of “The Lord’s Day” or “YaHuWaH’s Day” we must also have other evidence in the “Towrah, Prophets, & Psalms” that must agree.
Law, Prophets & Psalms: The Two or Three Witnesses

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of Elohiym is preached, and every man pressed into it.

John 1:45 Philip found Nathanael, and said unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets , did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Acts 13:15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

Acts 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the Elohiym (God) of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Acts 28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets , from morning till evening.

The Law of Moses and Yahuwshuwa agree that we must have “two or three witnesses” in order to establish any kind of doctrine or matter. “Every word” in scripture and its interpretation is validated on the basis of “two or three witnesses” elsewhere in scripture.

Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

1st Corinthians 14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

2nd Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

1st Timothy 5:19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses.
The First Day of the Week: Saturday Night at Sundown

Many in the Christian Church have supposed that because there is one reference in Acts 20:7 to the disciples breaking bread on the first day of the week, that they have found “proof” that “The Lord’s Day” is Sunday (the first day of the week). As I explained previously, this was the “first of the weeks” (plural) following the Days of Unleavened Bread. Additionally, we know that the First Century Believers never went to church on Sunday morning. How do we know this?
You will see below, that YaHuWaH commands us to do work for 6 days out of the week, and then we are to rest on the 7th day! On Sunday morning in Jerusalem during the 1st Century, people went to work!

Sunday is a Regular Work Day: “Six Days You Shall Work”

Exodus 23:12 Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest : that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

Exodus 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to YHWH (the LORD): whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Exodus 34:21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest : in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

Exodus 35:2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to YHWH (the LORD): whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

Leviticus 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of YHWH (the LORD) in all your dwellings.

So, with that in mind, let us see what the Law and the Prophets refer to as “The Day of the Lord.”

You will notice that this passage in Revelation is referring to the second coming of Yahuwshuwa Messiah. This is a prophetic event being spoken of here:

Revelation 1:

7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

8 I am Aleph and Taw (Alpha and Omega), the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Yahuwshuwa Messiah (Jesus Christ), was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Yahuwshuwa Messiah (Jesus Christ).

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

11 Saying, I am Alef and Taw (Alpha and Omega), the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Okay, now we can see that John was being “taken up in the spirit,” meaning eternity future! He was being shown the things that will happen in the future. At the beginning chapter of Revelation, John the Apostle is giving an overview of what the vision was all about. He is telling us that he was “in the spirit” in other words, the “realm of eternity” where past, present and future all coincide! How do we know this? Because Yahuwshuwa just declared to him that he is “Alpha and Omega, the first and last…”

What this means is that only through the eternal one Yahuwshuwa Messiah, was John able to see these things in eternity future! Notice that the “great voice” was as that of a “trumpet.”

We know that the day when all the saints are resurrected is at the “Last Trump.”

1st Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
John is therefore being taken into the spirit or eternity future to that event called “The Lord’s Day” when we shall all be changed at the “Last Trump.” This is confirmed again when John is once again telling us that he was “taken up” with a voice that sounded like a trumpet:

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
#5456. phone fo-nay probably akin to 5316 through the idea of disclosure; a tone (articulate, bestial or artificial); by implication, an address (for any purpose), saying or language:--noise, sound, voice.

Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Okay so let’s take notice of some common denominators with Revelation 1:10 and Revelation 4:1-2:

1.) John heard a voice that was like a trumpet.

2.) John was taken up by this same “voice” that sounded like a trumpet.
3.) John was in the spirit.

4.) John went to heaven where he as shown the future “Lord’s Day.”

Now, let us take a look at all the verses in the Old and New Testament scriptures, (Tanakh & the Briyth Chadashah) where “The Day of the Lord” is mentioned:

“The Day of the Lord” or “The Lord’s Day”

Isaiah 2:12 For the day of YHWH (the LORD) of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Isaiah 13:6 Howl ye; for the day of YHWH (the LORD) is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of YHWH (the LORD) cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Jeremiah 46:10 For this is the day of YHWH (the LORD) Elohiym (GOD) of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for YHWH (the Lord) Elohiym of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

Ezekiel 13:5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of YHWH (the LORD).

Ezekiel 30:3 For the day is near, even the day of YHWH (the LORD) is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of YHWH (the LORD) is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

Joel 2:11 And YHWH (the LORD) shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of YHWH (the LORD) is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of YHWH (the LORD) come.

Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of YHWH (the LORD) is near in the valley of decision.

Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of YHWH (the LORD)! to what end is it for you? the day of YHWH (the LORD) is darkness, and not light.

Amos 5:20 Shall not the day of YHWH (the LORD) be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

Obadiah 1:15 For the day of YHWH (the LORD) is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Zephaniah 1:7 Hold thy peace at the presence of YHWH Elohiym (the Lord GOD): for the day of YHWH (the LORD) is at hand: for YHWH (the LORD) hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

Zephaniah 1:14 The great day of YHWH (the LORD) is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of YHWH (the LORD): the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of YHWH (the LORD) cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Eliyahuw (Elijah) the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YHWH (the LORD):

Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of YHWH (the Lord) come:

1st Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of YHWH (the Lord) Yahuwshuwa (Jesus).

2nd Corinthians 1:14 As also you have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as you also are our’s in the day of YHWH (the Lord) Yahuwshuwa (Jesus).
1st Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of YHWH (the Lord) so comes as a thief in the night.

2nd Peter 3:10 But the day of YHWH (the Lord) will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Once again, let’s observe some common denominators about this day which is called “The Day of the Lord.”

1.) It is a day of destruction.
2.) It is a day of darkness.
3.) It is a day that is referred to as “great” and “terrible.”
4.) It is a day that is referred to as being “near” or “at hand.”
5.) It is accompanied by the coming of YaHuWaH (the Lord).
6.) It is accompanied by a trumpet, and great noise.
7.) It is accompanied by signs in the heavens.
8.) It is accompanied by fire and fervent heat.
9.) It is a day of fierce anger, wrath and vengeance.

In Revelation 1:10 we have some of these common denominators evident so that we may accurately say that “The Lord’s Day” is the same event referred to as “The Day of the Lord” every place else in scripture:

1.) It is accompanied by a trumpet, and great noise.
2.) It is accompanied by the coming of YaHuWaH (the Lord).
3.) It is accompanied by a cloud or a cloudy day.

Now we can see that “The Lord’s Day” in Revelation 1:10 cannot be Sunday. The Lord’s Day is the future Day of Judgment which will take place on the Sabbath Millennium or the 7,000th year from creation!

How do we know this? Because all of the other things that are accompanied by it are consistent with all the other passages in scripture that are referred to as “The Day of the Lord!”

“The Lord’s Day,” more accurately called “The Day of YaHuWaH” has always been the Sabbath.

The 7th day of the week prophetically points to Yahuwshuwa--- always! He will rule and reign for 1,000 years starting on the Sabbath Millennium (7,000 years from his creation) where he will “rest” from all of his labours!
