Is the Earth Fixed & Immovable?

Even though the entire counsel of scripture reveals that the earth is a spinning globe, the idea of a flat earth has made a come-back since 2015; and a large sector of society now believes that the earth is fixed and immovable. This idea is largely based on a misunderstanding of a few key verses in the Bible, and also because there has been a rising mistrust of people towards the United States government, since the events of 9/11/2001, (and rightfully so).

It was revealed to me by the Spirit of Yah on 9/11/2001, that the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York, as well as the Pentagon in Crystal City Virginia (Washington D.C.) were planned by our own government. In 2001, my oldest son, Elijah worked at the Pentagon on a construction site.

The next day, we drove past the Pentagon and saw no airplane wreckage, and only a black hole, where the missal struck. I never had a doubt about the attacks on that ominous day, and that our own Illuminati-controlled government was behind it. I am keenly aware that our United States government has lied to its citizens about many things.

See my blog revealing Predictive Programming about the events of 9/11 & Donald Trump’s involvement:  What Did “Back to the Future” Tell Us About Donald Trump?

However, just because it is possible that the United States may have faked the Apollo Moon Mission in 1970, (due to being in a Cold War with Russia), some people make a huge leap, and assume that NASA has lied to us about everything, including the shape of the earth.

As a matter of fact, some even have peddled the false idea that the acronym NASA means “deception” in Hebrew, but this is utterly false. As you can see from the graphic below, the Hebrew word “nasa” means “to lift,” or to be “lifted up!” There is another Hebrew word “nasha” that does mean “deception,” but this word has nothing to do with the acronym NASA, which stands for National Aeronautics & Space Administration.

The Ancient Hebrews did not believe in a flat earth, as many have falsely reported. It was actually the Ancient Sumerians who worshiped the god of the domed flat earth named Anu. Anu existed in Sumerian cosmology as a dome that covered the flat earth.

Outside of this dome was the primordial body of water known as Tiamat (not to be confused with the subterranean Abzu). In Sumerian mythology, Anu, also called The high one,”  is a demonic god of the sky. He was known as the “The lord of the constellations, and king of gods who commanded all other gods, spirits, and demons.
See more at this link:

As a matter of fact, the same people who lied to us about 9/11 are also now lying about the earth being flat. In 1995, Steve Jackson created the Illuminati Card Game, and he showed us how they were going to deceive the masses using what is called Psychological Operations.I knew back in 2015, when I first went into prayer about it, that the Illuminati were at it again, trying to get the believers in Messiah to embrace a Psyop called Flat Earth!

I knew that something was awry when in 2015, Donald Trump began preaching Flat Earth on the campaign trail, and that is when it first began to infiltrate the body of believers in Messiah.

As I prayed about whether or not the earth is flat, I kept on hearing the voice of my shepherd telling me that it is a “Strong delusion to believe a lie” (2nd Thessalonians 2:11), and that the goal is to deceive the very elect. The Greek word for “possible,” in Matthew 24:24 is “dunatos,” which literally means “powerful!” Therefore, it is not impossible to deceive the very elect!

The writers of the Hebrew Scriptures, such as Moses, Job, and the prophets knew that the earth was a spinning globe, simply from observation, and because they knew the Creator of heaven and earth.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 24:1 describes the earth under judgement in these last days, and it says that the earth will be “TURNED UPSIDE DOWN!”

Can you imagine what it would be like on a Flat Earth if it were to be turned upside down? All the ocean water, the sun, the moon, and all the planets would be under water!

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 24:1 Behold, YHWH makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof

The Hebrew word for “EMPTY” (baqaq) in the above verse, literally means “TO DEPOPULATE!”

Since the Covid-19 Vaccine was first administered in December of 2020, about 70% of the worlds population, has taken the poison into their bodies. Since that time, we have seen an unprecedented rise in mortality, even from those who are very young and healthy. There is a documentary that was published in 2022 entitled “Died Suddenly.” It is available on Netflix, Rumble & YouTube:

The main message of Isaiah 24, is that YaHuWaH is deliberately separating the wheat from the tares, in these last days (Matthew 13:25, 29 & 30). He is separating the sheep from the goats, as per Matthew 25:32-33).

In Ezekiel 9, YaHuWaH sends a messenger to slaughter everyone who does not “SIGH & CRY AT THE ABOMINATIONS” that are taking place in Jerusalem, but only those who have been “SEALED” ahead of time, by Yah, will be spared.

Only those who are “MARKED” by YaHuWaH with the Hebrew Letter “Taw” (Tav), will survive what is getting ready to come upon the earth during the Great Tribulation. Those who are part of the corporate Two Witnesses, will not be harmed, until their ministry of 1,260 days is completed (Revelation 11:5).

The entire chapter of Isaiah 24, is describing what is taking place right now, with Earth’s, magnetic poles flipping, so that the magnetic North Pole is trading places with the magnetic South Pole.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 24:1 describes the earth under judgement in these last days, and it says that the earth is being “TURNED UPSIDE DOWN!”

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 24:1 is describing what is taking place right now, with the earth’s magnetic poles flipping, so that the magnetic North Pole is trading places with the magnetic South Pole.

Scripture Tells us that the Earth Moves

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 24:19 says “THE EARTH IS MOVED EXCEEDINGLY!”

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 24:20 says “The EARTH SHALL REEL TO AND FRO LIKE A DRUNKARD!”

Flat Earthers use this one verse in 1st Chronicles 16:30 to try and prove that the earth is fixed and immovable:

Fear before him, all the earth: THE WORLD [GLOBE, TEBEL] also shall be stable [FIXED, SECURE], THAT IT BE NOT MOVED.”

The key to understanding the above verse, is to look up the Hebrew meaning for the word “MOVED,” which literally means: “TO BE TAKEN OFF COURSE, TO BE FALLEN IN DECAY, TO HAVE IT’S POLES BENT.”

We cannot properly understand the meaning of 1st Chronicles 16:30 without first doing a study on how this word is used in other passages of scripture.

Below are a couple of examples, where the word “MOVED,” is not being used in the literal sense of motion, but rather, it is used to describe an emotional or spiritual state of being anxious, or at peace in the midst of trouble:

Tehilliym (Psalm) 10:6 He has said in his heart, I SHALL NOT BE MOVED: for I shall never be in adversity.

Is David telling us that he is paralyzed and unable to physically move? Is he telling us that he cannot move into a new house? Is he telling us that he cannot relocate or move from one place to another? Or, is he telling us that he shall not be moved with emotion, even in the midst of adversity? The answer is obvious. David is not describing physical limitations. He is expressing that his faith, and resolve to trust in Yah is immovable.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 13:4 Lest my enemy says, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice WHEN I AM MOVED

Is David telling us that he is now able to move, after he told us in Psalm 10:6 that he shall not be moved? If we are to take David literally, we would be tempted to think that David is schizophrenic, because he says he cannot be moved, but later he says that he is moved. What is going on? Once again, David is not describing physical movement. He is praying, and asking Yah to protect him from those who would gloat when he is experiencing a moment of spiritual and emotional weakness and doubt.

The Hebrew word for “MOVED” is “MOWT,” and it means the following: “TO BE TAKEN OFF COURSE.”

It also means “TO BE FALLEN IN DECAY.”

It also means “A BENT POLE!”

If the earth is being “TURNED UPSIDE DOWN,” this means that on a Flat Earth model, all the oceans will fill up the imaginary dome, and every person on the planet will drown!

It also means that the SUN & MOON WILL BE UNDER WATER, INSIDE THE DOME!

Here is an example of how this word “MOWT” is used in another passage:

Leviticus 25:35 And if your brother be waxen poor, and FALLEN IN DECAY [MOWT, MOVED] with you; then you shall relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with you.

In this passage, the Hebrew word “MOWT” (MOVED) is describing a brother who has FALLEN IN DECAY FINANCIALLY!

It’s NOT describing motion!

It’s describing something that TAKES A TURN FOR THE WORSE!

It’s describing BEING MOVED emotionally or spiritually, or to be “TAKEN OFF COURSE!”

Here are a few other verses in scripture, telling us that the earth does move:

Tehilliym (Psalm) 99:1 YHWH reigns; let the people tremble: he sits between the cherubims; LET THE EARTH BE MOVED.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, THE EARTH IS MOVED EXCEEDINGLY.

Yirmeyahuw (Jeremiah) 49:21 THE EARTH IS MOVED at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.

Yirmeyahuw (Jeremiah) 50:46 At the noise of the taking of Babylon THE EARTH IS MOVED, and the cry is heard among the nations.

Is the Earth a Literal Footstool?

By Maria Merola אריאל

When Scripture says “The earth is my footstool,” in Hebrew, it means “My possession,” or My Inheritance.

The English word “footstool” in Hebrew is “regel,” which is a Euphemism for a possession:

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 66:1 Thus says YHWH, The heaven is my throne, and THE EARTH IS MY FOOTSTOOL: where is the house that you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

Here are a couple of other places where this same word #7272 (regel) is used:

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, [#H7272, regel] and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 18:4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, [#H7272, regel] and rest yourselves under the tree:

What is a “pudenda?”

Looking this word up in the dictionary, we find that it means the genitalia of a person, especially a woman! What this means, is that YaHuWaH views the earth as his bride, his wife!

The same Hebrew word is used in Psalm 110:4, referring to Messiahs enemies.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 110:1 YHWH said unto my Master, Sit you at my right hand, until I make your enemies your FOOTSTOOL (possession, inheritance).

Are we to imagine that these enemies, (these people) are shaped like literal footstools? Of course, not!

The Hebrew word for “footstool” implies conquering something, and making it your possession.

Mattityahuw (Matthew) 5:35 Nor by THE EARTH; FOR IT IS HIS FOOTSTOOL: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Acts 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and EARTH IS MY FOOTSTOOL: what house will you build me? says YHWH: or what is the place of my rest?

The Greek word for “footstool” in the above passages is as follows:

#5286. hupopodion hoop-op-od'-ee-on neuter of a compound of 5259 and 4228; SOMETHING UNDER THE FEET, i.e. a foot-rest (figuratively):--footstool.

What is the meaning of “feet” any way?

The first mention of the “heel” being bruised or crushed, is found in Genesis 3:15, where a prophecy is given concerning our Messiah, and his followers. The prophecy is telling us that that “The seed of the woman,” (who is the future Messiah), would crush the head of the serpent (the devil). But the devil would also crush or bruise our Messiah's “heel,” meaning his bride, his inheritance.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

In the story of the twins born to Rebekah & Isaac, (Jacob & Esau), we learn that Jacob was the twin who came out grabbing his brother Esaus heel:

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 25:23 And YHWH said unto her, Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from your bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

From the above passage, we learn that the “heel” is symbolic of the birthright, or the inheritance. When the boys grew up, Esau forfeited his birthright (inheritance) for a bowl of stew, while Jacob respected and valued the birthright. This is why he came out of the womb grabbing the “heel” of his older brother.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 25:26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esaus heel; and his name was called Yaaqob (Jacob): and Yitzchaq (Isaac) was threescore years old when she bare them.

After Yisra’el was delivered out of Egyptian slavery, YaHuWaH told Joshua, and the Yisraelites that they would conquer and “POSESS” every place upon which the soles of their feet took them:

Yahuwshuwa (Joshua) 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Mosheh (Moses).

In the story of the Prodigal Son, when he returned home to his father, (and repented for squandering his inheritance), his father gifted him with “shoes on his feet,” which was symbolic of his inheritance or his birthright. Thus, he received a “double portion inheritance,” even though he was undeserving of it, and had wasted his first portion.

Luke 15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.

The “robe,” is akin to Josephs coat of many colors, which was a symbol of Josephs birthright. In the case of the Prodigal Son, because he humbled himself and repented, he was given a “white robe of righteousness,” (Isaiah 61:10), which is symbolic of the bride's white linen garments (Revelation 19:14-18).

On the night before our Messiah died, he washed the “feet” of his disciples (as a prophetic declaration), that he was cleansing his inheritance, his possession, his bride!

Yahuwchanon (John) 13:8 Keefa (Peter) said unto him, You shall never wash my feet. Yahuwshuwa answered him, If I wash you not, you have no part with me.

Thus, we can now understand, that when YaHuWaH declares that the earth is his “footstool,” he is not describing the shape of the earth! He is describing what the people of the earth mean to him! He is declaring that the earth is his possession, or his inheritance.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 78:55 He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of  Yisra’el to dwell in their tents.

Flat-earthers use this fictitious graphic to insinuate that the earth is resting on literal “pillars,” and thus, the pillars look like a literal footstool.

However, that is not what is being conveyed when YaHuWaH describes the earth as being his “footstool,” or that his earth rests on “pillars.” To learn about what the pillars of the earth are, please see my other blog: What Are the Pillars of the Earth?

What Are the Pillars of the Earth?

By Maria Merola אריאל
© Copyright Double Portion Inheritance, August 2002-2023

The first thing that I want to make abundantly clear, concerning this phrase “pillars of the earth, (whenever it is used in scripture), it is most often used as a metaphor of our Creator’s “strength, and stability.Sometimes, the phrase is used to describe core principles or values of how something within creation functions. In other cases, we have heard an Idiomatic expression, where a well-respected person is called “A pillar in the communityor “A pillar of the church.

Pictured here is an illustration of the earth spinning on its axis. Earth’s rotational axis is tilted at about a 23.5 degree angle between an objects axis of rotation, and its orbital axis, perpendicular to the orbital plane.

Although we cannot see the imaginary magnetic poles, we know they are there, keeping the earth stable, so that it will not be taken off it’s orbital course. This is what is meant in 1st Chronicles 16:30, where it says: “Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.”

The key to understanding this verse, is to look up the Hebrew meaning for the word “moved, which literally means “To be taken off course, to have it’s poles bent. We cannot properly understand the meaning of 1st Chronicles 16:30 without first doing a study on how this word is used in other passages of Scripture. Below are a couple of examples, where the word “moved,is not being used in the literal sense of motion, but rather, it is used to describe an emotional or spiritual state of tranquility:

Psalm 10:6 He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

Psalm 13:4 Lest my enemy says, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved

Below, is an illustration that is often used by those peddling the Flat Earth narrative.

As you can, see, by this Flat Earth graphic, the earth is supposedly resting on foundations, which have pillars below Sheol. The only problem with this model, is that the earth hangs on nothing:

Job 26:7 He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth upon nothing.

In Psalm 75:3 Asaph quotes Elohiym: “The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.”

The context is Yah’s judgment of the wicked “inhabitants of the earth being dissolved.” At a time of his choosing, YaHuWaH will bring down the evildoers, and exalt the righteous. The shaking “pillars” of the earth in this Psalm seem to be a reference to unsteadiness and unrest in society, due to the onslaught of wicked men.

Elohiym promises to intervene, and restore society to stability. Or it could be that the “pillars” in Psalm 75:3 are the righteous, whom YaHuWaH promises to keep from spiritually falling .

In the following passage, the Assembly of Elohiym are being described as “pillars,” and “the ground of truth.”

1st Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that you may know how you ought to behave yourself in the house of Elohiym, which is the Assembly of the living Elohiym, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Another place where people are likened unto “pillars,” is seen in Revelation 3:12.

Revelation 3:12 Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my Elohiym, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my Elohiym, and the name of the city of my Elohiym, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my Elohiym: and I will write upon him my new name.

Often, when scripture uses the phrase “the pillars of the earth,” it is not a scientific description of the shape of the earth. These phrases are not describing literal pillars on which the earth sits upon. In most cases, this phrase “the pillars of the earth” is a poetic way to denote foundations, strength, and stability.

We have often heard people use an expression such as “The Police Chief in our town, has been a pillar in our community.”

In the following passage, Hannah is bringing her petition to Elohiym, as she was barren, and wanted him to bless her with a son. This was her prayer:

1st Samuel 2:8 He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH are YaHuWaH’s, and he has set the WORLD [TEBEL, GLOBE] upon them.

The Hebrew word for “pillar” in the above passage, is as follows in the Concordance:

#4690 matsuwqmawt-sook SOMETHING NARROW, i.e. A COLUMN, a hilltop, PILLAR, TO SITUATE.

The root word is as follows:

#6693 tsuwq tsook a primitive root; TO COMPRESS i.e. (figuratively) oppress, distress:--CONSTRAIN distress, lie sore, to STRAIGHTEN

The earth is slightly compressed at the Equator, which causes it to bulge, and thus makes the earth ever so slightly as an “Oblate Sphere.” The earth’s axis causes it’s position to be tilted, so that it is “constrained,” and therefore, it will “NOT MOVE OFF ITS ORBITAL COURSE!”

In this next passage of scripture, the word “pillar” is a different Hebrew word:

Psalm 75:3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the PILLARS of it. Selah.

The Hebrew word for “pillar” in the above passage, is as follows in the Concordance:

#5982 ammuwdammud A COLUMN, AS STANDING, A STAND, PLATFORM, PILLAR.

The word “pillars” in Psalm 75:3 could be speaking of righteous people (as I already described). However, it could also be describing what causes the earth to move and to spin. We get a clue from the following verse, as this is an end-time prophecy. Its meaning can only be understood, by reading it from the beginning in context.

Isaiah 24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, THE EARTH IS MOVED EXCEEDINGLY.

The word “MOVED” in the above passage is as follows:

#4131 & #4132 MOWT- TO WAVER, BE OUT OF COURSE, A POLE (as shaking), hence, a yoke, a BENT POLE, A BAR, BE MOVED, STAFF.

The context of Isaiah 24 is speaking of the end-times, and the judgement that will come upon the earth, due to the increase of the wickedness of humanity.

Isaiah 24:1 Behold, YHWH makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof

When looking at the Hebrew word for “empty” in the above verse, it is #1238, in the Concordance, “baqaq,” which means “TO DEPOPULATE!”

We have been seeing this phenomenon with our very eyes, since the Plandemic of 2020, and the subsequent deaths occurring, due to the poisonous vaccines.

Isaiah 24:1 is also describing a literal shift in the magnetic poles of the earth, which Scientists had been predicting for years, and is now underway. We are currently witnessing strange weather patterns around the world, as the magnetic North Pole, is shifting, and trading places with the magnetic South Pole. In other words, the earth's poles are literally being “turned upside down!”

If the earth is turned upside down on a flat earth, we have a serious problem. All the water from the oceans will fill up the dome, and everyone will drown. Additionally, the sun and the moon from inside the dome will also be covered in water. Please see my other blog entitled: Is the Earth Fixed & Immovable?

What are the Pillars of the Earth?

Earth has two primary motions: REVOLUTION & ROTATION.

The Earth is a “GIANT GYROSCOPE,” spinning on its axis. There are three places in Scripture, where the earth is described as having “pillars.”

These “pillars,” are Earth’s Axis or poles!

As a matter of fact, the Hebrew word for “MOVED” (MOWT) literally means “A BENT POLE, TO BE TAKEN OFF COURSE.”

Therefore, when Scripture says that “The earth shall not be moved,
(1st Chronicles 16:30), it is using this Hebrew word “mowt,” which means that the earth will not have its “POLES/PILLARS BENT, NEITHER WILL IT BE TAKEN OFF ITS ORBITAL COURSE!”

In the Greek Septuagint, Isaiah 40:22 says that the earth is a “GYRO” (something that GYRATES/ROTATES). The earth’s annual orbit of the sun, takes a bit more than 365 days per year (hence, a leap year with 366 days every four years in order to “catch up”).

The earth’s POLES SHIFTED after the flood in Noah’s day, causing the earth to take 5 days longer to make a full revolution around the sun. We know this, because in the days of Noah, the Ark rested upon the waters for 150 days (5 months of 30 days each). See Genesis 7:24 & 8:3.

However, just before the ministry of the Two Witnesses begins, “The days shall be shortened,” because the earth’s poles will once again shift, so that it will only take 360 days for the earth to make a full revolution around the sun! See my other blog entitled “Except Those Days Should be Shortened”

In Revelation 11:4, the ministry of the Two Witnesses lasts for 1,260 days, which when divided by 3.5 years is exactly 30 days for each month. See my other blog to learn more about who the Two Witnesses are: Who Are the Two Witnesses?

We are going back to the days of Noah, when “The days were shorter!” This is taking place right now, as there are reports since CERN activated their particle collider on July 5th, 2022, that the earth's poles are shifting rapidly!

Isaiah 24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, THE EARTH IS MOVED EXCEEDINGLY

The Hebrew word for “MOVED” is “MOWT” which means “TO WAVER, TO BE OUT OF COURSE, A BENT POLE, A BAR, A STAFF.”

This means that the EARTH SHALL NOT BE TAKEN OFF IT’S ORBITAL COURSE, NOR HAVE IT’S POLES REMOVED OR BENT!

However, the earth is currently undergoing a major POLE SHIFT, just as when a woman is about to give birth, the baby in the womb turns upside down, and prepares to come through the birth canal!

Isaiah 24:1 Behold, YHWH makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and TURNS IT UPSIDE DOWN, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof.

Additional Understanding of the Pillars of the Earth

Stephen Pidgeon has a great article on his website explaining the four pillars of the earth, (which directly ties into Earth’s Axis or poles). I will not share the entire article, but I will quote a few sections of his article. You will have to visit his website and watch the video, to learn more. The Pillars of the Earth by Stephen Pidgeon

Dr. Pidgeon begins by explaining the definition of a pillar:

“A pillar is a stone cylinder supporting a portion of a building. An example can be seen in the US Capitol building. In a broader sense, the term pillar is used to describe anything that provides major structural support. So the part of a microscope that holds the lenses rigidly in place is called a pillar, even though it is not made of stone, and is not supporting any part of a building. The term is also used metaphorically to describe fundamental or core elements of a religion or philosophy, as, for example, in the “The Five Pillars of Islam,or the Thirteen Pillars of Judaism.”

The Four Pillars of the Earth are seen in Genesis 1:14: And Elohiym said, Let there be lights in the expanse (raqiya, firmament) of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

1.) Shanah (Year).
2.) Mo’ediym (Seasons).
3.) Chodesh (Monthly cycles).
4.) Yomiym (Days).

Marias insertion here:

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 40:22 It is he that sits (yashab, marries) upon the circle (chuwg, sphere) of the earth (erets, land), and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain (doq – crumbling powder), and spreads them out as a tent (ohel – tabernacle) to dwell in.

The word interpreted as circle is the word chuwg (חוּג) (Strong’s #2329), which is interpreted as a circle, or a circuit, compass, or a sphere. The Hebrew word for establish (yashab) has wedding covenant language attached to it:

#H3427 yashab yaw-shab' a primitive root; properly, to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry: abide, continue, (cause to, make to) endure, establish, habitation.

As you can see, YaHuWaH sees the earth as his bride, and those who are his in the earth, he will marry at his return. To learn how the rotation of the earth is directly tied to the seven annual feasts of YaHuWaH, and the future “Marriage Supper of the Lamb, see my other blog entitled: Why Does the Bride Circle Around Her Bridegroom Seven Times?

Now, let’s take a look at the word for curtain. In the Hebrew, the word in this passage is doq (דֹּק) (Strong’s #H1852), which is typically translated into the English as something crumbling, i.e. fine (as a thin cloth). In the last instance, it is also interpreted as a curtain.

However, if we look at the root for doq, we find the word daqaq (דָּקַק) (Strong’s #H1854), which is dâqaq. We see that the word doq in the first instance means something crumbling, and we see now that its root daqaq means to crumble, to make dust, to make into powder. So, at this point, this passage could easily read as follows:

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 40:22 It is he that sits (marries) upon the orbit (sphere) of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts; that stretches out the heavens as a crumbling powder, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in.

Finally, let’s review the last word for tent.

In the Hebrew, the word is ohel (אֹהֶל) (Strong’s #H168), which is generally interpreted as a tent, but also means a covering, a dwelling place, a home, or even a tabernacle. Let’s use tabernacle instead of tent in this instance:

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 40:22 It is he that establishes the circuit (rotation) of the earth, and establishes the inhabitants thereof as locusts; that stretches out the heavens like a crumbling powder, and spreads them out as a tabernacle in which to dwell.

Dr. Pidgeons article continues here:

1.) Pillar Number One: Years/Shanayim – established by the orbit of the earth. The year is achieved with the arrival of the earth at its starting point along its circuit. This moment is called the New Year (Rosh Ha’Shanah) and has been celebrated by every culture on earth since the beginning of recorded history (although the date of such completion varies from culture to culture).

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 1:14 And Elohiym said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens (raqiya, firmament) to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed feasts, and for days, and years.

Marias insertion here:

In the above verse, we see four purposes (four foundational principles or pillars) that govern the way YaHuWaH orders time, using the lights in the heavens:

1.) The stars/constellations are for signs.
2.) The lunar cycles (moon) are for keeping the months, and the appointed feasts.
3.) The sun measures the 24-hour day, which is divided into two halves of 12 hours.
4.) The sun also measures the year, for when the earth makes a full revolution around the sun, it is called a “Tequwphah.”

#8622 tquwphah tek-oo-faw' or tquphah {tek-oo-faw'}; from 5362; a revolution, i.e. (of the earth around the sun) course, (of time) lapse:--circuit, come about, end.

Dr. Pidgeons article continues here:

This begs the question, doesn’t it? What is a year? Answer: It is the annual renewed cycle of the orbit of the earth. In a geocentric model, (assuming a planet and a separate sun), the sun orbits the earth daily.

Therefore, an annual cycle appears irrelevant, unless you are somehow marking the abnormalities found in the pathways of the sun. And for what purpose would such anomalies exist?

#2.) Pillar Number Two: Seasons/Mo’ediym – established by the tilt of the earth.

Shemoth (Exodus) 13:5-10 is where YaHuWaH commands his people to keep his seven annual feasts, beginning with Passover, in the first month of the year. Verse 10 says You shall therefore guard this ordinance in his appointed time from year to year.

We not only find that years appear (which are irrelevant to an earth-orbiting sun), but also that seasons (mo’ediym) appear, and are calculated and called appointed times in scripture.

Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) 3:1-2 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.

Marias insertion here:

Once again, there are four purposes listed in the above passage, showing that there are four seasons in the life of people, plants and animals:

1.) A time to be born (birth).
2.) A time to die (death).
3.) A time to plant (sowing seed).
4.) A time to pluck up (harvest).

Dr. Pidgeons article continues here:

The seasons also do not appear in an earth-orbiting sun schedule, unless such a schedule suffers from anomalies and inordinacies that have no rhyme or reason.

Why should the days get longer, and the nights shorter in the northern countries (again, northern is a term which cannot exist except on a spherical earth), and the days get shorter and the nights longer in the southern countries?

Yet such a question is easily answered when we recognize the tilt of the earth, causes the north pole leaning toward the sun in the summer, and leaning away from the sun in the winter.

The seasons have been regularly calculated since the construction of the pyramids (and possibly earlier), as they are indented in the middle and facing exactly due north (again, a concept that only exists on a spherical earth), which yields equidistant shadows on the vernal and autumnal equinoxes. Again these only exist if there are seasons, which have no logical impetus in a geocentric model.

#3.) Pillar Number Three: Months/Chodesh – established by the renewed cycle of the moon in orbit around the earth. The cycles of the moon called chodesh in the Hebrew, (renewing cycle – the moon is called yire’ach) also evidences a spherical earth, an orbiting moon around the earth, and a heliocentric model demonstrating the shadow of the earth on the moon throughout its semi-regular cycle of orbit.

It is the regular cycle which occurs every 28-30 days that gives us months (moon’ths). Why would such a cycle exist in a model which has the sun orbiting above the earth? It would be irrelevant. Day unto day; night unto night, months and years would factor as nothing.

#4.) Pillar Number Four: Days/Yomiym – established by the daily rotation of the earth.

Bere’shiyth 1:14 states that the stars, the sun and the moon are also given to us for days (yomiym). We see that in Bere’shiyth 1:5, that the evening and the morning were the first day. This calculation is made, based on the setting of the sun.

Simply put, the sun goes down, when the day has ended. But because it is a renewing cycle, the day also begins when the day ends. This is best understood when looking at a circle (in two dimensions) or a sphere (in three dimensions).

In a circle, the starting point is also the ending point. Some may say that the day should begin with sunrise, in which case the day would also end at sunrise. Yet Scripture gives us evening first (Genesis 1:5). Nowhere in Scripture can you find that the day should begin in the middle of the night.

The Four Pillars of the Earth are principals upon which we locusts rely to live on this earth. How many can say I live without regard to years, seasons, months and days?

Yet, these principals are set forth very early in Scripture – in the first chapter of Bere’shiyth (Beginnings).

Was Cain the “Seed of the Serpent?”

The first time I heard of the “Serpent Seed Doctrine,” was in the year 2002, and I immediately knew that it had it’s roots in Esoteric Mystery School Religions and Gnosticism. To understand what this doctrine is about, see my other blog: Refuting the Serpent Seed Doctrine

Over the past 20 years, I have observed that there are many Freemasonic & Jesuit Infiltrators within the household of faith, (especially within the Hebraic Root’s Community) that are teaching this lie. What is most alarming, is that many who profess to know our Messiah, readily accept these false teachers, and they do not search the Scriptures for themselves. We are warned about this in Paul's letter to Timothy:

2nd Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Is there a “Serpent Seed?” Yes, there is! However, the “Serpent Seed” did not show up until Genesis 6:4, which is the first time that the Nephilim (Giants) are mentioned.

Eve did not have sex with the serpent, and it can be proven.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from YaHuWaH.

You will notice several things in the above verse:

#1 Cain was conceived by Adam, not the serpent.

#2 Eve declared that YaHuWaH is the one who gifted her with a son, not the serpent.

#3 There is no mention of Cain & Able being twins in the 4th chapter of Genesis.

When YaHuWaH wants us to know that a woman is pregnant with twins, he tells us plainly.

In Genesis 25:24, Scripture tells us plainly that Rebekah was pregnant with twins.

In Genesis 38:27, Scripture tells us plainly that Tamar bore twins.

#4 If the “Seed of the Woman” is Messiah (Genesis 3:15), but the “Seed of the Woman” comes from the serpent, this would mean that our Messiah was a Nephilim!

#5 If Eve is “The Mother of all the Living,” (and her DNA was contaminated with Serpent Seed), all the people in the world, since the Creation are Nephilim! This is what Satan wants us to believe, that he is our Creator!

#6 Adolf Hitler used this doctrine as an excuse to exterminate 6 million Yahuwdiym (Jews) in Nazi Germany!

Hitler taught that “All Jews are the seed of Cain,” and therefore, they must all be exterminated!

Louis Farrakhan teaches that “All White people are the seed of Cain!”

#7 The Jesuits of Rome (Illuminati) teach this heretical “Serpent Seed Doctrine,” because they worship “Lucifer” as a “False Satanic Messiah!”

#8 If Cain was a Nephilim, YaHuWaH would not have warned him to repent (Genesis 4:6-7). There is no salvation for Nephilim!

#9 If Cain was a Nephilim, YaHuWaH would not have given him a mark of protection, which is the Aleph & Taw. The Aleph & Taw is the “Sign of Messiah,” also called “The Alpha & Omega” in Greek.

#10 If Cain was a Nephilim, why did YaHuWaH protect him with his mark? Why not wipe out the first Nephilim in the Garden, instead of having to do it later with the flood?

#11 If eating fruit from trees is a metaphor for having sex, (and Yah told them they could eat of every tree in the garden), this means that YaHuWaH permitted them to have sex with every tree in the Garden! That makes absolutely no sense!

#12 People often argue that because our Messiah said that “The devil was a murderer from the beginning” (John 8:44), and Cain was the first murderer, therefore, he must have been the devil “incarnate” or a Nephilim.

However, that argument quickly falls apart, when we realize that King David had Bathsheba’s husband killed in battle. But David later repented in Psalm 51. Just because David committed the sin of murder, does not make him a Nephilim.

Is the Solar Calendar in the Book of Jubilees Biblical?

We are living in the last days, (as foretold by our Messiah, and the prophets), and we are witnessing a great falling away from the truth of Scripture. What is most concerning to me, is that I see many using the Book of Jubilees to cancel out the commandments in the Torah to “Watch narrowly for the New Moon of the Abib” (Deuteronomy 16:1).

The Book of Jubilees contains many contradictions to the Torah & Prophets, and it was never canonized by the Protestants, nor the Yahuwdiym (Jews). It is considered canonical only by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Debariym (Deuteronomy) 16:1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Pesach (Passover) unto YHWH your Elohiym: for in the month of Abib YHWH your Elohiym brought you forth out of Mitzraiym (Egypt) by night.

*Note: The Hebrew word for “observe,” is “shamar,” which means: “To watch narrowly for.”

You cannot watch narrowly for a “dark moon,” because there is nothing to see. And you don’t need to watch narrowly for a full moon, because it’s been visible in the sky for two weeks, before it becomes full.

The Hebrew word for “month” in Deuteronomy 16:1 is “chodesh,” which means “a renewed lunar cycle, or the new moon, which determines a new month.” In Genesis 1:14-16, & we are told that the “sun, moon & stars,” are to to be used for measuring “seasons.”

The Hebrew word for “seasons,” is “mowediym,” and it means the following in the Concordance:

#H4150 mow`ed mo-ade' or moled {mo-ade'}; or (feminine) moweadah (2nd Chronicles 8:13) {mo-aw-daw'}; from 3259; properly, AN APPOINTMENT, i.e. A FIXED TIME OR SEASON; SPECIFICALLY, A FESTIVAL; CONVENTIONALLY, A YEAR; Technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand):--appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, A SET, SOLEMN FEAST.

In Psalm 104:19, the word for “seasons” is once again, the word “mowediym,” which pertains specifically to the “APPOINTED FEASTS!”

The Book of Jubilees, sometimes called the “Lesser Genesis,” “Little Genesis,” or “The Testament of Moses.” However, Jubilees is considered a Pseudepigraphal work of Jewish apocalyptic literature. It was probably written in the second century B.C., sometime between 135 and 105. The Book of Jubilees records an account of biblical history from the creation of the world to the time of Moses, as delivered to Moses by an angel on Mount Sinai.

The book divides history into periods or “Jubilees” of 49 years. Generally, the Book of Jubilees follows the account of creation as recorded in the Book of Genesis, but it inserts interesting details such as the names of Adam’s daughters and the creation of angels. Some scholars consider the Book of Jubilees to be an extended midrash on Genesis through the first part of Exodus.

The only complete text of the Book of Jubilees still extant is an Ethiopic manuscript from the sixth century A.D. It contains 1,307 verses. Most scholars believe that the book was originally written in Hebrew or Aramaic. That theory is bolstered by the discovery among the Dead Sea Scrolls of fragmented Hebrew texts containing portions of the Book of Jubilees.

So far, at least fifteen separate manuscripts of the Book of Jubilees have been identified at Qumran, and all have been reduced to fragments-----“The Dead Sea Scrolls: The Book of Jubilees,” VanderKam, J., and Morgan, S., The Missouri Review, the College of Arts & Science of the University of Missouri, 12/1/1992.

Those fragments provide only about 3 percent of the total content of the book. There are also some fragments of Jubilees existing today in Greek and Latin, but nowhere near a complete book in either of those languages or in Hebrew. According to the Book of Jubilees, on Mt. Sinai “The angel of the presence spake to Moses according to the word of the Lord, saying: Write the complete history of the creation” (Jubilees 2:1, Charles, R. H., trans., 1902).

This malak (angel) told Moses that Elohiym created various categories of angels on the first day of creation. Great stress is laid on the Sabbath in Jubilees 2:17–32. In chapter 3, Adam and Eve are in Eden for a period of seven years. Then, after “seven years exactly,” the serpent tempted Eve (Jubilees 3:17).

It was only after the fall, that Adam had sex with his wife (Jubilees 3:34). Jubilees chapter 4 introduces Noah and his wife (who is named Emzara). Chapter 5 narrates the flood. The author of Jubilees writes that, after the flood, Elohiym says to Noah, “Command thou the children of Israel that they observe the years according to this reckoning—three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year” (Jubilees 5:32).

The 364-day solar year (rather than the 360-day lunar year) is one of the main thrusts of the Book of Jubilees. Some scholars have pointed out that it appears that Jubilees was written precisely for the purpose of pushing the author’s commitment to a solar-based calendar.

In Jubilees, Elohiym is concerned that His people might “disturb all their seasons and the years will be dislodged . . . and they will neglect their ordinances” (Jubilees 6:33). According to the Book of Jubilees, to prevent confusion and to keep holy days from getting “dislodged,” Elohiym instituted the 364-day solar calendar.

Under that system, (since 7 is a factor of 364), the same date falls on the same day of the week each year (e.g., every year July 4 would be on the same day of the week). The command governing the calendar reflects another major emphasis in Jubilees. The laws concerning Sabbaths, Passover, First-fruits, and other holy days.

The author of Jubilees claims that the Feasts of YaHuWaH were observed by the patriarchs long before the time of Moses. While, I, Maria Merola, have seen prophetic hints of the biblical feasts, in the book of Genesis, Scripture is silent about the feasts until Moses received the instructions in the Book of Exodus. Circumcision is also stressed in the book, which promises “Great wrath from YaHuWaH” on uncircumcised Israelites (Jubilees 15:40).

The author of the Book of Jubilees was probably an Essene member of the Qumran community—the people who copied and preserved the Dead Sea Scrolls. Theological and cultural details within the book differ from the teachings of both the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

The calendar system advocated in Jubilees is the one used in other Essene writings. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is the only group today that accepts the Book of Jubilees as canonical. There are several problems with including the Book of Jubilees in the Bible as part of inspired Scripture.

Probably the most significant is that the author of Jubilees, in retelling the story of Genesis, changes the biblical record in several respects. In general, the patriarchs are glorified as holy men who were scrupulous in keeping the law.

As portrayed in the Book of Jubilees, Jacob does not lie to his father; Isaac eventually declares Jacob to be his true heir, and elderly Jacob settles on Leah as the wife he loves, and Abram’s deceit of Pharaoh is never mentioned.”

Clearly, these heroes of the faith are handled with kid gloves by the author of Jubilees; in contrast, Scripture presents a candid record of their faults. Further, the Book of Jubilees adds to the Law of Moses and goes far beyond Scripture in its stress on punishment.

A father who gives his daughter in marriage to a Gentile “shall surely die, and they shall stone him with stones . . . and they shall burn the woman with fire” (Jubilees 30:11–12). This sounds very much like the Islamic Sharia Laws. Moses took to himself a Cushite (Ethiopian) woman, and the Egyptians who left with the Yisraelites out of Egypt were allowed to be counted “As one who is homeborn in Yisrael” (Exodus 12:48-49).

Adding to the Scriptures, the Book of Jubilees says that during the Feast of Tabernacles (which Abraham first celebrated) Israel is to “set wreaths upon their heads” and carry branches around the altar seven times each morning (Jubilees 16:39, 41). Also, Jubilees stipulates the type of wood to be used for the fire of the burnt offering (Jubilees 21:16–19).

In summary, the Book of Jubilees adds to the Torah (Mosaic Law), and hints at worshiping saints, (hagiography); introduces sectarian teachings regarding the calendar, and lacks sufficient manuscript evidence. For each of these reasons, Jubilees fails the standards of the canon of Scripture.

Why the Book of Jubilees Cannot be Viewed as Inspired Scripture:

YaHuWaH created Adam & Eve on the 6th day, and then commanded them to be fruitful and multiply at the end of the 6th day (before it became the Sabbath on the 7th day).

They were both naked, and he wanted them to procreate. He did not say “But wait until the Sabbath is over to procreate.”

As a matter of fact, Yahuwshuwa commands us to “Save Life” on the Sabbath day, and making a baby is producing/saving life.

David & his men went to the Temple on the Sabbath, and asked the High Priest for some bread for his men.

The priest gave them the old showbread to eat, because he was baking fresh bread on the Sabbath, which is when they were commanded to swap out the old showbread with the new showbread.

The bread of the Presence (also called the showbread or shewbread in some translations) was special bread always present on a table in the tabernacle (and later in the temple).

Leviticus 24:5–7 describes this bread: “You shall take fine flour and bake twelve loaves from it; two tenths of an ephah shall be in each loaf. And you shall set them in two piles, six in a pile, on the table of pure gold before YHWH. And you shall put pure frankincense on each pile, that it may go with the bread as a memorial portion as a food offering to YHWH.”

This Bread of the Presence was:

1.) Made of fine flour.
2.) Baked in 12 loaves.
3.) Arranged in two piles of six loaves each on a table of pure gold.
4.) Covered with frankincense.
5.) Served as a memorial food offering to YaHuWaH.

The bread could only be eaten by Aaron and his sons in a holy place and was set out every Sabbath day (Leviticus 24:8–9).

The other important thing, is that Messiah will return for his bride in the 7th Millennium, which will be in the 6,000th year from creation.

This means that he will consummate with his bride in the “Sabbath Millennium!”

The reason why the Sabbath Day is most holy, is because the #7 is symbolic of “covenant,” and the word “seven,” in Hebrew “sheba,” means “to take take an oath by repeating seven times.”

In 2nd Peter 3:8, it says that “One day is with YaHuWaH as a thousand years.”

Therefore, the 7th Millennium is equivalent to the 7th day of the week, the Weekly Shabbat!

The most advantageous time for married couples to be intimate with one another is when the bride of Messiah will be intimate with her bridegroom in the 7th Millennium.

Shaul (Paul) spoke of this mystery of the earthly marriage being a shadow of the heavenly marriage between Messiah and his bride in Ephesians 5:22-32, ending with these words:

Ephesians 5:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Mashiyach and the assembly. I have not finished writing a blog about it yet.

Why the Book of Jubilees Leads to Gnosticism:

YaHuWaH created Adam & Eve on the 6th day, and then, he commanded them to be fruitful and multiply at the end of the 6th day (before it became the Sabbath on the 7th day).

They were both naked, and he wanted them to procreate. He did not say But wait until the Sabbath is over to procreate.” As a matter of fact, Yahuwshuwa commands us to Save Life” on the Sabbath day, and making a baby is producing/saving life.

The bread could only be eaten by Aaron and his sons in a holy place and was set out every Sabbath day (Leviticus 24:8–9).

There are many contradictions in the Book of Jubilees to the Torah & Prophets.

#1.) Jubilees claims it’s a sin to go to war on Shabbat, but our Messiah said that we are to “Save life on the Sabbath.” (Mark 3:4 & Luke 6:9). If somebody comes to your home, ready to kill you and your family on Shabbat, you are commanded to defend your family and yourself, because this is the command of our Messiah---to save life on the Sabbath!

Additionally, YaHuWaH commanded Yisrael to march around Jericho for seven days, and on the seventh day, it was the Sabbath. This is when the walls of Jericho came down! This means that they were engaging in warfare on the Sabbath!

#2.) Jubilees claims it’s a sin to fast on the Sabbath, but our Messiah fasted for 40 days, in the wilderness, which means that he fasted for 5 Sabbaths.

#3.) Jubilees says it’s a sin for married couples to be intimate on the Shabbat, but YaHuWaH commanded Adam & Eve to “Be fruitful and multiply” at the end of the 6th day of the week, going into the seventh day of the week.

#4.) Shabbat is the best time for couples to be fruitful and multiply, because it is SAVING/PRODUCING LIFE!

In Luke 24:44, Yahuwshuwa said that Law, Prophets & Psalms TESTIFY of him! He never mentioned Jubilees!

Genesis 1:14-16 says that there are THREE WITNESSES: the sun, the moon and the stars! This is the chronology of time-keeping that we use:

1.) We wait for the Spring Equinox to determine the Tequwphah (Solar Year).

2.) We wait for the next Renewed Moon following the Spring Equinox, according to Deuteronomy 16:1.

3.) We cite the constellation of the Ram inside the path of the Sun, because the Ram symbolizes when Abraham offered up his son “first-born son,” Yitzchaq (Isaac), who became the substitute sacrifice.
