The fatal flaw that Lunar Sabbatarians make, is they try and fit a square peg into a round hole, and that does not work.
In 2011, I asked YaHuWaH about the Lunar Sabbath Reckoning, he said this to me:
“Can you fit 7 into 30 evenly?”
“Can you fit 7 into 365.25 evenly?”
“Can you fit 7 evenly into 360 days (a biblical calendar year)?”
The answer to all those questions was a resounding “NO!”
Then he said “Now, try fitting 7 days into 7 years (evenly) into a biblical 360-day year.”
Taking out my calculator, I formulated these equations:
360 x 7 = 2,520 days!
2,520 divided by 7 = 360!
Every seven-year sabbatical, we are keeping 360 Shabbaths!
But Lunar Sabbatarians are only keeping 336 Sabbaths every seven years!
This means they are missing 24 Shabbats every 7 years!
This is a violation of Towrah!
Every 7th Year, the land must rest, so that the soil can be replenished with minerals (Leviticus 23:3-5).
This means that every 7th year, the land gets a 360-day rest!
And since humans are made of “soil” (dust of the earth), we keep the same amount of Shabbaths as the soil every seven years!
