Pre-Tribulation or Post-Tribulation Rapture?

By Maria Merola אריאל

Since 1981, I had believed in what many in the Church today call the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory.

However, in August of 2004, YaHuWaH opened my eyes to something that changed my views on this. It started with 1st Corinthians 15:50-52, where it says that we shall all be changed “That we shall all be changed at the last trump.”

It was the mention of the last trumpet that prompted me to do a key-word search on all references in Scripture pertaining to trumpets. In particular, my study lead me to understand “The Feast of Trumpets” aka Yom Teruwah, which literally means “Day of Blowing.”  We are commanded to sound the shofar (trumpet) at every new moon, and at every biblical feast (Psalms 81:3).

Since there are seven months of feast days commanded by YaHuWaH, the last month is called “The seventh month” known as Ethaniym (Tishri) in which the “The seventh new moon trumpet” is sounded.

I also discovered that on the Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus  23:24), traditionally there are four trumpets sounded representing the four angels from the four winds of heaven and the four corners of the earth (Revelation 7:1).

When the last of these four trumpets is sounded in the “seventh month,” the end-time harvest of souls will be gathered by the four angels from the four corners of the earth and the four winds of heaven (Mark 13:27; Matthew 24:31) and it will be with a “great sound of a trumpet!”

There are seven “trumpet judgments” described in Revelation 8:7 through Revelation 11:15, and these correlate to the seven trumpets sounded each month at the new moon between the month of Abib in the Spring (the first month of the Hebrew calendar) until the seventh month called Tishri.

These trumpets are to remind the bride to repent and prepare her heart for the
The Day of Atonement” aka
Yom Kippur.

In Numbers 10:1-2, silver trumpets were used to signal when the camp of Yisrael was about to resume their journey to the Promised Land. During the second temple period, the Levites used these same silver trumpets to signal animal sacrifices that were taking place in the temple, especially during the Ten Days of Awe between the The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruwah) and the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).

During the first seven months of each biblical year, seven silver trumpets are blown in eternity which correlate to the seven judgments in Revelation 8-11. These seven silver trumpets signal the bride to make herself ready for the Day of Atonement.

There is warfare going on during this time, and these silver trumpets are meant to signal the covenant people to prepare themselves (Numbers 10:9-10, 31:6, 2nd Chronicles 13:12-14).

I realized back in 2004, that if I was going to understand what these trumpets mean in the book of Revelation, I was going to have to go back to the first time in Scripture when these seven trumpets are mentioned.

The first time that we see this pattern of seven trumpets is in Joshua 6:4-13, when YaHuWaH told Joshua and the priests to sound seven trumpets for seven days in a row.

On the 7th and last trumpet, the walls of Jericho fell. This will happen once again when Messiah returns with his army (his bride) and we shall finally see “Mystery Babylon the Great the Mother of Harlots” fall on the Day of Wrath (Revelation 18:10-21).

In this account, we can see a prophetic picture of Yahuwshuwa (Joshua) the son of Nun, as the Messiah in the end of days. Joshua led the armies of Yisra’el to take the Promised Land of Yeriychow (Jericho) on the 7th trumpet blast.

Likewise, in Revelation 19, Messiah will return to unite both of his brides represented as Rachel & Leah. He will catch away the first bride typified in Leah, as Jacob married Leah first. Ten days later, he will return with his bride on Yom Kippur to take to himself the other bride typified in Rachel. These two brides represent the Two Houses of Yisra’el, and he will make them One stick in his hand (Ezekiel 37:16).

The first bride, (typified in Leah), is this army described in Revelation 19:14, and she will return with him Clothed in white linen fine and clean on white horses after a seven-day honeymoon (just like Jacob & Leah in Genesis 29:28). The first bride is like Leah, for she is the first-born and the first to be married. She will be taken into the marriage in the seventh month of Tishri, at the last and seventh trumpet blast (Revelation 11:15).

Once I began to read the book of Revelation through the lens of the Towrah (Mosaic Law), the patterns began to reveal themselves. This is the reason why our Messiah told us that all things written about him in the “Law, Prophets & Psalms” had to be fulfilled (Luke 24:44).

These are the two or three witnesses of Scripture that we must consult, when understanding prophecy. Yahuwshuwa declared Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled (Matthew 5:16-18).

Until there is a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21:1-2), Towrah & Prophets will continue to guide us through the fulfillment of prophecy.

This is the reason why YaHuWaH commands his covenant people to celebrate and observe his seven annual feast days as A statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations (Leviticus 23:21).

He wants his bride to be ready when he returns, therefore, he has given her these seven feasts as “holy convocations” (Leviticus 23:8). The Hebrew word for “convocation,” literally means “a rehearsal.”

What is the bride rehearsing for? The Marriage Supper of the Lamb, as described in Revelation 19:7 is what she is rehearsing for! Without these seven feasts, the bride will not be ready to meet the bridegroom!

This is the reason why the traditional Christian Church does not fully understand prophecy.

It is because they are keeping the counterfeit holidays of the Anti-Messiah, such as Christmas, New Years Day in January, Good Friday, Ash Wednesday, Easter Sunday, etc. These counterfeit holidays are patterned after the false Messiahs of the Roman Empire with their Julian & Gregorian calendars.

This is why Revelation 18:4 commands followers of Messiah to Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

Those who truly belong to our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa will obey the call to separate themselves from this false Mother Harlot Church, as she calls herself a prophetess.” However, she teaches and seduces his servants to Commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols (Revelation 2:20-23).

This warning is given to the Congregation at Thyatira whose name literally means “Ruled by a woman from Tyre. This woman is the Vatican who is typified as Queen Jezebel from 1st Kings 16:31, because just like the original Jezebel, she teaches the people of Yisra’el, to worship a false Messiah known as “Baal.” The name “Baal,” simply means “Lord or husband.”

The true bride of Messiah does not accept any generic pagan deity identified by false holidays. She knows the difference between all the false “Lords” who are supposedly reincarnated on December 25th at the Winter Solstice, and the true Messiah named Yahuwshuwa, who is identified by the original seven feast days of Leviticus 23.

The true bride will not mistake the timing of her bridegroom’s return, because she knows “The Times & Seasons (1st Thessalonians 5:1), which are “The Mowediym,”

The seven annual feast days or rehearsals. Those in the Christian Church who believe that our Messiah’s return is “imminent,” meaning that it can happen “at any time.” The justification for believing in his imminent return is a misunderstanding of

1st Thessalonians 5:

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of YHWH so comes as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

As you can see from Pauls warning, only those who are in darkness are expecting his return to be like a “Thief in the night, but the children of light know when to expect his return, because they are already rehearsing his seven annual feast days!

The idea that the Church will be taken by surprise without warning into what is commonly called “The Pre-Tribulation Rapture,” has no scriptural foundation, once we realize that the bride is given clear instructions to observe the seven annual feasts from year-to-year. These are the times and the seasons spoken of by Paul in 1st Thessalonians 5:1 to help the bride to make herself ready, and to light her path into the marriage supper.

While it is true, that the word “rapture” is found no place in our English Bibles, it comes from the Latin word rapturo, which means the very same thing as the Greek word “harpazo” in 1st Thessalonians 4:17.

1st Thessalonians 4:

14 For if we believe that Yahuwshuwa died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yahuwshuwa will Elohiym bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of YHWH, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of YHWH shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For YHWH himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohiym: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up [harpazo, rapturo] together with them in the clouds, to meet YHWH in the air: and so shall we ever be with YHWH.

This Greek word “harpazo in 1st Thessalonians 4:17 means the following: “To seize, to catch away, to pluck, pull, take (by force),” and it has the very same meaning as the Latin word “rapturo.

It is also the same word in Hebrew for “taken” in 2nd Kings 2:11 which is “laqach” when Elijah was “taken” in a chariot of fire:

#3947 laqach law-kakh’ a primitive root; to take (in the widest variety of application): ---accept, bring, buy, carry away, drawn, fetch, get, infold, many, mingle, place, receive(-ing), reserve, seize, send for, take (away, up), use, win.

I am pointing all of this out because there are some that would try to argue that there is no such thing as a “rapture” but they are wrong.

While it is true that this word does not appear in our English Bibles, the word “rapturo” (Latin) or harpazo (Greek) or “laqach” (Hebrew) all mean the very same thing as when the bridegroom comes and seizes his bride and carries her away into the marriage. The five wise virgins will be “taken” into the marriage, while the five foolish virgins will be “left” out of the marriage, and then the door will be shut.

Interestingly, the Hebrew & Greek meaning for “taken” means “to take into marriage” while the Hebrew & Greek meaning for the word “left” means “to divorce or forsake.” Contrary to what some teach and believe, the ones who are “taken” is the bride of Messiah into a “set-apart” place, and then she returns with him on white horses after a seven-day wedding. The ones who are “left” behind are the ones who are going to be eaten by the birds of prey down here on earth on the Day of Wrath (Revelation 19:21).

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 24:

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Back in the days when I adhered to Dispensationalist Theology, I was taught to believe that the “elect” are only the Jews, because YaHuWaH refers to the nation of Yisra’el in Isaiah 45:5 as “Yisra’el mine elect.”

Then, one day, it hit me, when I read 1st Keefa (Peter) 1:1-3 where he refers to the “strangers” in diaspora as:

“Elect after the foreknowledge of the Father, sprinkled with the blood of Yahuwshuwa Messiah and sanctified by the Spirit....”

Here is where my eyes were opened, and I suddenly realized that in order to be part of the election, one has to be “Sprinkled with the blood of Yahuwshuwa Messiah & sanctified by the Holy Spirit.”

Under the Abrahamic & Mosaic Covenant, the natural born Yisra’elites were called “The elect.” However, any stranger could choose to join Yisra’el, and become grafted into one of their tribes according to Ezekiel 47:22.

The same principle still applies under the Renewed Covenant. Becoming an Yisra’elite is for everyone who joins the the Abrahamic Covenant through Messiah’s blood. Jews and Gentiles alike are given citizenship with Yisra’el through being born of the Spirit (John 3:5).

Regardless of their DNA, both Jews & Gentiles alike are joint heirs to the promises of Abraham when they believe on Yahuwshuwa as their Messiah. The Gentile believers in Yahuwshuwa are Grafted into the olive tree together with natural Yisra’el by virtue of faith in Messiah (Romans 11:17-24).

Now, please understand, that I am NOT teaching this false doctrine known today as “Replacement Theology.”  Replacement Theology purports that Elohiym has disinherited the Jews from their promises and has now given those promises to the Christian Church instead. However, this is a satanic lie promoted by the Vatican since the 3rd Century by the Roman Emperor Constantine.

What scripture teaches us is the “engrafting” of both the “remnant” of the woman (Yisra’el) and her seed (Gentile believers who come out of the Harlot Church to embrace the truth).

Those who are “born-again” are called “Yahuwdiym” (Jews) once they join the tribe of the bridegroom---the Tribe of Judah!

The Apostle Shaul (Paul) wrote in Romans 2:28-29 that those whose hearts are circumcised and obey the Towrah commandments are considered “Yahuwdiym” (Jews).

Dispensationalism & The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Error

From the time that I was first born-again in 1981, I wondered why those in the Church continued to believe that they would be taken up to meet YaHuWaH in the air before the Great Tribulation,” even though Matthew 24:29 makes it abundantly clear that Messiah will gather his elect “Immediately after the tribulation.”

Whenever I pointed this verse out to pastors in the Church, they would always tell me that the “elect” were only the Jewish people. I was told that the Christian Church was the true bride of Messiah, and she would be taken up to heaven to escape during the seven years of tribulation.

Meanwhile, those Jews who had not accepted Yahuwshuwa as Messiah, would have to suffer down here for seven years until the second coming. During these seven years, the Jews would be given a chance to accept him so that they might have a chance to be ready at his return.

As I already pointed out, 1st Peter 1:1-3 totally blows that theory out of the water, citing that the “elect” are those who have been sprinkled with the blood of Yahuwshuwa and set apart by his ruwach/spirit.

And this is how my theological position changed in 2004, from believing in a Pre-Trib Rapture to a Post-Trib catching away of the bride. I suddenly made the connection between the “A great sound of a trumpet” in Matthew 24:31and “The last trumpet” in 1st Corinthians 15:52.

It suddenly dawned on me that if our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa will gather his “elect” with a great sound of a trumpet, immediately after the tribulation, and this is called “The last trumpet,” there can be no more trumpets after that! So how can Christians believe that there are seven years of tribulation to follow the last trumpet?

As a supplement to a study I did on “Daniel’s 70th Week,” I did a study on the 33.5 years in the life of Yahuwshuwa. I also discovered through research done by Dr. Ernest L. Martin in a book entitled “The Star that Astonished the World,” that there was a constellation seen at his birth that has not been seen at any other time in history. Our Messiah Yahuwshuwa was born on September 11th in 3 B.C., which happened to be Yom Teruwah or the Feast of Trumpets.

Most Messianic believers believe his birth to have occurred 15 days later on the Feast of Tabernacles, but in 3 B.C. the constellation was seen from Revelation 12 of “The woman clothed with the sun and the moon underneath her feet,” and she was giving birth to “The man-child” which is Ariel the Lion of Yahuwdah (Judah).

This means his birth came exactly 180 days (6 months) after his cousin John’s birth who was born on Passover. How do we know this? Well, it can be calculated through scripture as I will illustrate. We also discover from this same research that Yahuwshuwa was conceived on Chanukkah on December 13th in 4 B.C. This can be validated through scripture by calculating the time of birth of his cousin, Yahuwchanon (John) the Baptist who was exactly 6 months older (See Luke 1).

How Can We Calculate the Birth of Yahuwshuwa from Scripture?

John the Baptist’s Father Zechariah was a priest in the temple after the division of “Abijah.”

In 2nd Chronicles 24 we find out what time of year the division of Abijah would serve in the temple. Therefore when the angel Gabriel announced to Zechariah that his wife Elisabeth would conceive a son, we know what time of year that was and from that we know when John the Baptist was conceived. And so we count 271 days forward (a normal gestation period) and we find that John the Baptist was born on Passover in 3 B.C.

We count 180 days (6 months) forward and we find that Yahuwshuwa was born on “The Feast of Trumpets” that same year. Yahuwshuwa fulfilled not only the Feast of Trumpets that year as he was being “announced” into the world as a king, but he also fulfilled the Feast of Tabernacles (called Sukkot) as he dwelled in a “Sukkah” (a stable or manger) with his parents as a new born baby.

The announcement of his birth came 15 days earlier on a Holy Day of Yisra’el called “Yom Teruwah” (Day of Blowing Trumpets, Leviticus 23:24-25). The constellations which guided the wise men to Yahuwshuwa on that day were seen at no other time in history.

The “sign” which the wise men saw was a “Woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet.” What these wise men saw was “Virgo the Virgin” (Bethuwlah in Hebrew).

And they saw the constellation of “Ariel” the Lion of Judah, aligning at the same time, showing that “the woman” (virgin) was about to give birth to the Lion of Judah (man-child), who would rule all nations with a rod of iron (Revelation 12). See my other article entitledThe Messiah of Yisrael Born on the Feast of Trumpets.

*Note: The reason why 271 days was used to calculate the exact timing of the births of Yahuwshuwa & Yahuwchanon (John) the Baptist, is because the Hebrew word for pregnancy is “herayon” which has a numerical value of 271 when added up in Hebrew Gematria.

Now, getting back to our study:

The Roman Emperor Constantine borrowed the pagan celebration of the Saturnalia and attached the name of our Messiah to it calling it “The Mass of Christ” in the 3rd Century. He did this as a political strategy in order to assimilate the real Yahuwshuwa Messiah to the pagan sun-gods who were “reincarnated” each year (according to paganism) on December 25th at the winter solstice in astrology!

One of these reincarnated gods was named “Tammuz” also known as “Baal,” as revealed in Ezekiel 8:14. The people of Yisra’el were  worshiping this pagan sun-god in the Temple of YaHuWaH and he called it an abomination!

Why is this so important? Because Yahuwshuwa’s real date of birth validates prophecy! Scripture tells us in Revelation 18:10, that “The testimony of Yahuwshuwa is the spirit of prophecy.”

Daniel’s 70 Week Prophecy

Now by understanding the timing of the birth and death of Messiah, I was able to come up with an exact time-line of “Daniel’s 70th Week” from the “Going forth of the command to rebuild Jerusalem” (Daniel 9:24), which was the decree given by King Cyrus in 457 B.C.

Daniel’s 70 Weeks begins with the decree of King Cyrus in 457 B.C. (not Artaxerxes) in 445 B.C. The 490 years begins there. If you subtract 457 years from 490 years you get 33 years which is how old Yahuwshuwa was at his death. But we subtract 7 years from that, and it takes us to the year 26/27 A.D. The Jewish historian Josephus, also helps us corroborate this date, by telling us that 23 B.C. was a Jubilee Year.

-23 + 50 = 27 A.D. minus 1 year = 26 A.D.

We must also subtract one year because there is no “year zero” when transitioning from B.C. y ears to A.D. years.

However, in 1582, Pope Gregory introduced a new calendar, which removed 10 days from the Julian Calendar, and this caused dates to to be moved up by one year. This method was called double-dating. Therefore, what we would previously have called 26 A.D. is now rendered as 27 A.D.

Also see my other blog:

Our Messiah’s ministry lasted for 3.5 years (like the two witnesses). We know this from reading Luke 4:25-26, where he compared his ministry to that of the prophet Elijah’s ministry.

Therefore, he began his ministry 40 days after his baptism, on Yom Kippur. This is when he read the Isaiah 61 scroll in the Synagogue, and he preached “The Acceptable Year” (Luke 4:1-19). It was during his 40-day fast in the wilderness, that his 30th birthday arrived on the Feast of Trumpets, aka Yom Teruwah. According to Numbers 4:3, a man must be at least 30 years of age, and no more than 50 years of age when serving as a priest in the Temple. And since our Messiah is the eternal High Priest, (Melchizedek), he had to fulfill the requirement of being 30 years of age on earth before he began ministry.

If his birthday had been on the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkoth), his 30th
birthday would have still be five days away, and thus, he would not have been qualified to
“Preach the Acceptable Year.”  According to Numbers chapter 10:2-3, only Aaron, the High Priest and his sons were to usher in a Jubilee Year (every 50th year) by blowing two silver trumpets.

Our Messiah was displaying himself as the eternal High Priest, after the order of Melchizedek, and he told us that his ministry was going to last for 3.5 years. What does this show us?

It reveals that there are only 3.5 years left out of the 490-year prophecy---not 7 years, as tradition has taught us. Out of Daniel’s 70 weeks, 486.5 of those years have already been fulfilled with only 3.5 years left.

As soon as we “see” the Abomination of Desolation, then shall be “great” tribulation (Matthew 24:15-21). The 2 witnesses will prophesy 1,260 days (3.5 years) and the false Messiah will speak blasphemies for 42 months (3.5 years).

Yahuwshuwa’s seven year ministry will be completed through his witnesses and this will run concurrently with the false ministry of the Anti-Messiah. “Jacob’s Time of Trouble” (7 years) has already been halfway fulfilled. And then within the last literal “week” during the Ten Days of Awe, it will be for Rachel (the House of Judah) as it culminates at the end on Yom Kippur:

Zekaryahuw (Zechariah) 12:10 “...they will look upon me whom they have pierced and they will mourn for him as one mourns for his only son.”

In Jeremiah 30:7, the tribulation is called “Jacob’s Trouble,” which is a 7-year period because Jacob worked for 7 years for Rachel and then he was able to marry her at the end of the “week” (7 days) after he married Leah. Jacob worked 7 years and 7 days before he was married to Rachel. He agreed to work an additional 7 years for Rachel, but he worked those additional 7 years after he was married to her. When you look at Daniel’s 70 Weeks, there is a total of 490 years.

It is divided up into 4 parts: 62 weeks (434 years); 7 weeks (49 years); 1 week (7 years) but that week is divided into two because “In the middle of the week,” Messiah was cut off and also it was he who caused the “sacrifices and oblation” to cease. The Father in Heaven no longer recognized these sacrifices in the earthly temple. They continued performing sacrifices until 70 A.D. but they were not recognized because Jerusalem rejected Messiah as the Red Heifer sacrifice which sanctifies the altar.

Since his blood alone sanctifies the altar, their evening and morning oblations were “vain” or empty (Isaiah 1:11-18). It was Messiah himself who made Jerusalem “desolate”  by his prophetic word when he said “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who stone the prophets…behold your house is left to you desolate!” (Matthew 23:38).

Daniel 9:27 is not about the Anti-Messiah who signs some imagined seven-year peace treaty. We must have 2 or 3 witnesses elsewhere in scripture in order to make that into a doctrine.

Daniel 9:27 is about Yahuwshuwa Messiah who “Confirmed the covenant with many” (Mark 14:24).

It was Messiah who confirmed the one and only covenant that YaHuWaH made with Abraham. It was Messiah who made Jerusalem desolate. It is Messiah who will cause Jerusalem to be desolate “Even until the consummation” (of the marriage).

The length of this prophecy is seen as follows:

70 weeks x 7 years = 490 years.

The word “weeks” here in Daniel 9:24-27 is the Hebrew word “shabuwah” which literally means a “A period of seven; to be sevened; a heptad.”

And thus “seventy weeks” means 70 times 7, which is the same formula that Yahuwshuwa gave his disciples when they asked him “How many times should we forgive our brother?

In other words 70 x 7 = FORGIVENESS!

The first-fruits of our redemption was accomplished with the atonement of Yahuwshuwa as our Passover Lamb. But we have not received the fullness of our redemption yet until we receive the redemption of the body.

Romiym (Romans) 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

When Yahuwshuwa completes the atonement on Yom Kippur (Day of Wrath, Atonement, Vengeance), that will be the completion of his Atonement for sins!

You see, all those who accept his blood atonement will be “accepted” and all of those who reject his atonement will be “not accepted.” This is why he only read the first half of Isaiah 61:2 and then he stopped in the middle of the verse and closed the book! (Luke 4:19-20).

The 490 year prophecy given to Daniel will be completed when the 70 X 7 formula of complete forgiveness has been fully implemented. Even though it was already purchased for us by Yahuwshuwa on the tree, in order for it to be fully implemented the House of Judah (Jews) must have another opportunity to receive it or reject it.

When the 490 year prophecy is completed, Yah’s atonement for sin towards all of mankind will have been fully implemented on a spiritual and physical level.

Now, if we subtract 3.5 years (for the final tribulation period) from the 490 prophecy, we get 486.5 years. So, let’s add 486.5 years to 457 B.C. and we come to the exact date that Yahuwshuwa died on the tree which was on a Wednesday, Passover of 30 A.D.

There is no such thing as “Good Friday.” Good Friday discredits Yahuwshuwa and makes it appear that he lied when he said he would be “Three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” Good Friday puts him in the heart of the earth only 1 day, not 3 days.

The day after his crucifixion, was an annual Sabbath called “The Feast of Unleavened Bread” and then 2 days later was the weekly Sabbath. From these dates, we find out that our Messiah Yahuwshuwa fulfilled the first 3.5 years of Daniel’s 70th week leaving only 3.5 years to complete of this 490 year prophecy.

The last half of Daniel’s 70th Week (3.5 years), picks up with the Anti-Messiah setting up the “The Abomination of Desolation” in the 3rd Jewish Temple, and this is when the “Tribulation” period actually begins (Matthew 24:15-21).

Concurrently, the “two witnesses” in Revelation 11 will also have a ministry that lasts for 1,260 days (3.5 years).

“Jacobs’s time of Trouble” lasts for A time, times and a half” according to Daniel 12:7 & Revelation 12:14.

The word “time” in Hebrew is “mowed,” and it means “A fixed time or season, a festival, an appointed time; conventionally, one year.”

The same is true for the Greek word “kairos,” which also means “An appointed time or season.”

In both Hebrew & Greek, the word “time” indicates the appointed times of YaHuWaH, which are his festivals. One year completes a cycle of seven feasts.

Therefore, the word “time” = 1 year.
The word “times” = 2 years.
The term “half a time” = 6 months, hence 3.5 years.

There is no place in Scripture that says that the tribulation is 7 years!

Many theologians have misinterpret Daniel 9:27 where it says “And he shall confirm the covenant with ‘many’ for one week....”

They think that the “he” mentioned here is the Anti-Messiah (Antichrist) who “Confirms the covenant.”

But in the previous verses in Daniel 9:25-26, the subject is “Messiah the Prince” and then the other subject is “The people of the prince.”

And so when Daniel 9:27 says “he,” we can only take that to mean the “he” in the previous verse which is “Messiah the Prince” because “the people” are a “they” not a “he.”

Furthermore, it was our Savior Yahuwshuwa who said at the last supper on the night before his crucifixion: “This is the blood of my covenant shed for ‘MANY,’ ” and he did this within the last week of Daniel’s prophecy.

Because “In the midst of the week” literally, according to Daniel 9:25-26, which was on the fourth day of the week (what we call Wednesday).

This would have been in the midst of the week, and prophetically in the “middle” of the last seven years of this prophecy. Yahuwshuwa was “cut off” according to Daniel 9:26. Who else could the “he” be referring to in Daniel 9:27?

It is Yahuwshuwa Messiah who confirms the covenant with many” for the entire duration of his 3.5 year ministry. He then continues the remainder of his 7-year ministry for Rachel through his “two witnesses” right up until his second coming during the last 3.5 years of tribulation which concludes the final “week” of this 490 year prophecy!

In order to “confirm” something like a covenant, there has to be a covenant already in place. There there is only one covenant which established the people of Yisra’el as a nation, and that is the very covenant promise given to Abraham, and continued through his son Isaac and his grandson, Jacob.

Yahuwshuwa came to “confirm” this very same covenant!

The Ten Days of Tribulation or “Awe” for the Ten Virgins

In Leviticus 23, we are commanded to celebrate a memorial of blowing trumpets on the 1st day of the 7th month called Yom Teruwah or Day of Blowing.

And then on the 10th day of the seventh month is the Day of Atonement called Yom Kippur.

During these ten days between these two feasts, it is called “The Ten Days of Awe” or ten days of tribulation for the congregation at Smyrna (Revelation 2:10).

These ten days between these two feasts prophetically point to the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25. Five of these virgins are wise because they will continue to stay filled up with the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) and they will be ready when the bridegroom comes.

However, five of these virgins are foolish because they are going to allow their oil lamps to run out, and they are not going to be ready when the bridegroom comes, and these are the ones that the Apostle Paul was talking about when he said “They shall not escape” (1st Thessalonians 5:3).

There are two brides who are getting married within these 10 days prophetically typified as Rachel & Leah.

Leah represents all those saved from The Ten Northern Tribes of Yisra’el (Ephrayim) and Rachel represents all those saved from The Two Southern Tribes of Yisra’el (Judah).

There are also going to be those Gentiles who are grafted into the olive tree of Yisrael” and they will be included with these two groups as what Ezekiel 37:16 calls “companions.”

When the “five wise virgins” go into the marriage (at the end of seven days) then “the door will be shut” and no more people will be saved after that!

Likewise, Noah and his family suffered “tribulation” while building the ark on dry land as they were mocked and persecuted by the unbelievers. The word “tribulation” both in Greek & Hebrew literally means “persecution.”

Noah’s family endured “tribulation” and then the “wrath” of Elohiym came in the form of rain. When all eight of them were in the ark (at the end of seven days), “the door was shut” and no more people were saved after that!

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Yahuwshuwa said that his second coming would be “as in the days of Noah.” When the five wise virgins went in, “the door was shut” and no more were saved after that! As in the days of Noah, once the door was shut to the Ark, no more people were saved from the flood!

Do you see the pattern? There is a seven-day waiting period where the bride is taken into a safe place called “the bridal chamber” or “chuppah” (Psalms 19:5, Joel 2:16) and she is being prepared for the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19).

Noah’s Ark was like that chuppah and in both cases (Noah & the ten virgins), the bride is taken into a safe place for a seven-day waiting period and then the door is shut!

Now this is the conclusion that we can arrive at:

Yahuwshuwa told us when the tribulation will begin in Matthew 24:15-21 “when you shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet.....for then shall be great tribulation....”

The first 486.5 years of Daniel’s 490 year prophecy has already been fulfilled leaving only 3.5 years of the 490 years.

When the 3rd Jewish Temple is finally built in Jerusalem, “the second beast” (Revelation 13:11-18), will “make an image to the first beast...whose deadly wound was healed.” This abomination will be set up in the holy place (as our Messiah stated) in Matthew 24:15. Revelation 13:14 calls it “the image of the beast.”

This is when great tribulation of 3.5 years will commence. This is also when the “two witnesses” in Revelation 11will begin their evangelistic outreach to the world. Many of them will be martyred for their faith in Yahuwshuwa.

However, let’s get something straightened out. These “two witnesses” are NOT Moses & Elijah, as many theologians have taught us.

Neither is it Enoch, (which many have speculated). While I do believe that the two witnesses are two individual men, they are also two groups of people: Gentile Believers & Jewish Believers which make up the whole of Yisra’el. How do we know this? When we read Revelation 11:4, the angel told John who these “two witnesses” are. He says they are “The two candlesticks & the two olive trees...”

Olive trees are likened unto the nation of Yisra’el in prophecy, and two of them symbolize the Southern Kingdom of Judah, and the Northern Kingdom of Yisra’el (Ephraim & Joseph, Ezekiel 37:16-17).

The Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) also described “two olive trees” in Romans 11, when he referred to the “wild olive tree” (Gentiles) and the “natural olive tree” (Yahuwdiym, Jews) being grafted into one olive tree.

In Revelation 1:20, Yahuwshuwa likened the “seven congregations” to CANDLESTICKS!

There are only two congregations that Yahuwshuwa commended and found no fault with. These are the Assembly of Philadelphia and the Assembly of Smyrna---hence the “two candlesticks” represent those Assemblies who “over-come” by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11).

In other words they overcome the sinful nature by accepting the blood of the lamb as atonement for their sins. But they also obey the “commandments,” because they have the “two tablets of testimony” deposited into their hearts as a sign of the Renewed Marriage Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-33, Hebrews 8:10, 10:16).

There are several reasons why Elijah, Enoch or Moses cannot be the “two witnesses” literally speaking:

1.) In order for the Anti-Messiah to kill them after 1,260 days of prophesying, they’d have to put on corruptible (mortal) flesh again which means reincarnation and the Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 “...it is appointed unto men once to die and after this the judgment.”

2.) Elijah was taken up in a chariot but he had to put on incorruptible (immortal) flesh in order to inherit the kingdom of Elohiym because the Bible says in 1st Corinthians 15:50 “...flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Elohiym.”

3.) Moses died although there was a dispute over his body between the angels (Jude 1:9). But Joshua 1:2 says “Moses my servant is dead....”  So we know that he died.

4.) At the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses & Elijah appeared with Yahuwshuwa, so we know they already have an incorruptible body. They cannot put on a mortal body (corruption) again to be killed by the Anti-Messiah!

5.) The two witnesses could also be two individual men who come in the same “anointing” as Moses & Elijah. Revelation 11:6 tells us that they do the same exploits as Moses & Elijah:

Chazown (Revelation) 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy (Elijah): and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues (Moses), as often as they will.

This is how we know that the two witnesses come “In the spirit and power” of Eliyahuw & Mosheh (Elijah & Moses). Just as in the days when John the Baptist came, our Messiah declared that he was “The Elijah” that they had expected, and yet John denied that he was “Elijah.”

Therefore, he came in the “spirit and power of Elijah” or Eliyahuw (Luke 1:17) and the same thing will be true of these two witnesses.

Now that we have established who the two witnesses are (Gentile & Messianic Jewish believers), we can see that these “two witnesses” (corporately speaking), will become a powerful force in the last days who will prophesy against the Anti-Messiah for 1,260 days.

After they are killed, (Revelation 11:7), it says that the two witnesses are then “taken up!” (harpazo or rapturo).

Only a few verses later, (Revelation 11:15), it says “The seventh angel sounded!!!”

Guess which trumpet that is?

This is the very same “last trump,” spoken of by the Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) in 1st Corinthians 15:50-52.

It is the very same thing described in Matthew 24:29 when Yahuwshuwa will gather his elect with a “great sound of a trumpet!”

And Yahuwshuwa said that this is all going to happen “Immediately AFTER the tribulation!”

In order to ascribe to a “pre-tribulation” catching away of the bride, we would have to believe in “two raptures” for the righteous. However, Scripture tells us in Revelation 20:4, that there are only two resurrections for two groups of people:

1.) One for the righteous, and this is called “The first resurrection.”

2.) One for the wicked after the 1,000 years are finished, and this is called “The second death.”

In 1st Thessalonians 4:16-17, the Apostle Shaul (Paul) wrote: “The dead in Messiah shall rise first, then we which remain shall meet them in the air.”

I had a revelation of how this occurs in eternity, and it is mind-blowing!

There is no “time” in eternity, because outside of earth's atmosphere, we are “outside of linear time.”

Yahuwshuwa is the Alpha & Omega (Aleph & Taw), the beginning and the ending...he is TIME! He is eternity. There is NO LINEAR TIME in eternity!

The resurrection of Enoch, the resurrection of Elijah, the resurrection of Yahuwshuwa, and the future resurrection of the saints (rapture) are ALL ONE EVENT in eternity! Past, present & future all coincide into ONE RESURRECTION!

Daniel 12:1 confirms this:

Daniyel 12:

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of troublesuch as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be deliveredevery one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Notice that this “time of trouble” is “such as never was” ....the same thing as when Yahuwshuwa said this:

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 24:21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Both Daniel and Yahuwshuwa use familiar phrases like: “such as never was” or “such as was not”...this is the same event.

And then the angel told Daniel: “At that time your people shall be delivered,” and he clarified who “his people” are, by saying “Everyone that shall be found written in the book!”

That means everyone whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be resurrected and delivered all at once! One resurrection! And it happens “after” the “time of trouble!”

Okay so let’s recap:

I once used to believe in a “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” until 2004 when YaHuWaH showed me that there are no Scripture references to a seven-year tribulation—none!

In the book of Revelation, we see that the Anti-Messiah (Antichrist) will speak blasphemies for 42 months (3.5 years).

The “woman” (Yisra’el) in Revelation 12 and in Daniel 12 will be preserved during this period called Jacob’s Time of Trouble, and this is called “a time, times and a half times.”

The Hebrew Strong’s Concordance defines the word “time” here in Daniel 12:

#4150 mow`ed mo-ade’ or moled {mo-ade’}; or (feminine) moweadah (2 Chronicles 8:13) {mo-aw-daw’}; from 3259; properly, an appointment, i.e. a fixed time or season; specifically, a festivalconventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand):--appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, set, solemn feast, appointed season, solemnity, synagogue, (set) time (appointed).

A Day Equals One Year

There is a principle established in prophecy related to a prophetic time where a period of a year is used to describe “one day.” This “day for each year principle” is seen here in the Towrah:

Bemidbar (Numbers) 14:34 After the number of the days in which you searched the land, even forty days, EACH DAY FOR A YEAR, shall you bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you shall know my breach of promise.

In the above verse, a relationship between a day and year is clear, and each day will equate to a literal year. For the forty days that Yisra’el spied in Canaan in unbelief, they would be punished by wandering forty years in the desert.

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 4:6 And when you have accomplished them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Yahuwdah (Judah) forty days: I have appointed you EACH DAY FOR A YEAR.

Once again, the equation is seen where a prophetic day represents a literal year.

But in 2nd Peter 3:8, we find that “one day is like a thousand years to YHWH.”

So which one is it? Does a day represent a thousand years or does it represent one year?

Well I believe that it means both! I see in prophecy usually “three layers” of fulfillment.

The Witness of “Three” in Daniel’s 70 Week Prophecy

The Hebrew word for “week” is “shabuwah” which means “sevened.” This means that any time period that is divisible by the number seven is a “shabuwah.” Thus we can apply the word “week” in Daniel 9:27 to mean more than just a literal seven day calendar week.

Since Elohiym created the earth in six days, and he rested on the seventh day, we know that there will be 6,000 biblical years from creation until Messiah returns to set up his kingdom for the “Sabbath Millennium.” When we look at the 7,000 year “week” our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa came to earth in human form during the “4th Millennium (the middle of creation week).

This is one layer of understanding of this prophecy. We can also see that Messiah died “In the middle of the week” (Passover week on Wednesday). And Messiah also died in the middle of “Daniel’s 70th Week” (in the middle of his 7 year ministry after 3.5 year). Hence, Messiah died “In the midst of the week, within the week, within the week.”

7,000 years = Messiah died in the 4th Millennium from creation (in the midst of the week of 7 Millennia).

7 years = Messiah died in the middle of a 7 year ministry of working for Rachel (like Jacob). His ministry was 3.5 years, and his “Two Witnesses” in Revelation 11 will pick up where he left off with a 3.5 year ministry (1,260 days). They will finish out the 7 year ministry of working for Rachel.

7 days = Messiah died in the middle of Passover Week on a Wednesday (the 4th day of the week).

Now we can see that the word “time” in the phrase “Times, time and a half times” can actually mean several things. If we take the word “time” (mowed) to mean a literal year then the phrase means the following:

Time = mowed in Hebrew = 1 year
Times = two years
Half times = six months

Therefore, times, times, half times = 3.5 years

We see that during this time the two witnesses will have a ministry of 1,260 days (3.5 years)

Yahuwshuwa had a 3.5 year ministry.
Eliyahuw (Elijah) had a 3.5 year ministry.

It is fitting that the end time “two witnesses” will also follow this pattern of a 3.5 year ministry concurrently while the Anti-Messiah tries to mimic Yahuwshuwa with a 3.5 year false ministry.

But if we take the word “time” in the phrase “Times, time and a half times” to mean “A day for a year” it can also mean 1,260 years when the true followers of Yahuwshuwa Messiah were persecuted by the Roman Papacy between the year 538 A.D and 1798 A.D.

When Napoleon dethroned the papacy and it “Suffered a deadly wound to the head” (authority). This was a period of 1,260 years where the “witnesses” of Messiah were persecuted and beheaded for their witness against the papacy. Then in 1929 “The deadly wound of the papacy was healed” (Revelation 13:3). Mussolini signed the “Lateran Treaty” with ten European nations (ten horns on the beast).

Who Are the Two Witnesses?

In Revelation 11:4 these two witnesses are being described as 4 objects. What are they? The Angel told John “These are the two candlesticks and the two olive trees.”

And so these four objects cannot be referring to two individuals only. I believe that there is a “literal” fulfillment of this prophecy which means that there will be “two individual men” (but not Moses & Elijah literally speaking).

But there is also “corporate” application to this prophecy of there being “two corporate groups” of people. There is also another application of there being “two elements” coming back together in these last days within the body of Messiah.

These “two elements” are Towrah (Law) & Prophets. It is represented as Truth (Towrah) & Spirit (Prophets). In other words the “Written Towrah” as well as the “Spirit of Towrah” written in the hearts of  believers.

Yahuwshuwa gave us the mystery of the “seven candlesticks” in Revelation 1:20. He said that they are the seven congregations. When reading the first 3 chapters of Revelation, we find out that from those seven only two congregations were found to be faithful: Smyrna & Philadelphia.

And so the Two Candlesticks = Two Congregations

In Romans 11, we find out who the two olive trees are: wild & natural branches. In other words, Gentile & Jewish believers. In Ezekiel 37:16-17, we read that there are two houses of Yisra’el that are going to be brought back together in these last days into “One stick.” That Hebrew word for “stick” is “ets” which means “tree.” Who are these two trees? They are Ephraim & Judah!

Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16-17 Moreover, you son of man, take you one tree (stick), and write upon it, For Yahuwdah (Judah), and for the children of Yisra’el his companions: then take another tree (stick), and write upon it, For Yahuwceph (Joseph)the stick of Ephrayim and for all the house of Yisra’el his companions: And join them one to another into one tree (stick); and they shall become one in your hand.

Now we can see who these “Two Olive Trees” are!

They are the Gentile believers in Yahuwshuwa (who are no longer Gentiles) for they are part of the Commonwealth of Yisra’el, according to Ephesians 2. And they are also the Messianic Jewish believers in Yahuwshuwa!

And so we see that the TWO WITNESSES are TWO GROUPS of people coming together! Also, there will be seen “two elements” operating in the end time believers because they will operate in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit & Fire with signs and wonders following, but they will also obey the Towrah!

These two witnesses in Revelation 11:6 will do the same exploits as Moses & Elijah because they carry the same anointing of Moses & Elijah!

In other words, the Yahuwdiy (Jews) have the Towrah (Mosaic Law) and the born-again believers have the Holy Spirit (the spirit of prophecy) and together these elements come together as two types of “anointing” that form what is called THE DOUBLE PORTION ANOINTING!

When the Gentile believers (represented prophetically by Ephrayim), and the house of Judah (Jews) come together in Yahuwshuwa Messiah as ONE NEW MAN (Ephesians 2:15) and ONE STICK (Ezekiel 37:16-17 Ephrayim & Judah), that corporate body of believers will be the remnant who carry the DOUBLE PORTION ANOINTING OF MOSES & ELIJAH!

The two individual witnesses as well as the corporate two witnesses will be resurrected when the “seventh angel” or trumpet sounds! Every month on a Lunar Cycle, there is a new moon called “Rosh Chodesh” (head of the month) and for seven months, there is a trumpet sounded to usher in the new month (Numbers 10:10).

In the “seventh month” of Tishri when the “seventh angel” sounds, that is when the “two witnesses” will be resurrected! That is the LAST TRUMPET in 1st Corinthians 15:51-53 where the set-apart ones are caught up and changed!

In other words, the two witnesses are the “Overcoming congregations” from the Gentiles, (symbolized by two candlesticks) and the Two Houses of Yisra’el (Ephrayim & Judah symbolized by two olive trees).

These two groups (combined) form what is called ONE NEW MAN, and they are the ones found worthy to be in the FIRST RESURRECTION at the LAST TRUMPET!

Matthew 24:31 says that all of this takes place WITH A GREAT SOUND OF A TRUMPET, (the last one), and this will happen “Immediately AFTER the Tribulation!”

  6. Pre tribulation rapture is absolutely true. But you don't rightly divide and think Matthew is for us while the context is about the Millenium.

    1. No, quite the contrary. You are the one who does not rightly divide the word of truth. Matthew 24 is not about the Millennium, that is ludicrous.
