Conflating Two Parables: Taken or Gathered?

In an effort to correct the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine, many are now conflating the parable of the “WHEAT & TARES” with the parable of those who are “TAKEN & LEFT!”

Both the “WHEAT & TARES” are “GATHERED!”

However, the definition for the word “GATHERED” is not the same as the word “TAKEN!”

In both Hebrew & Greek, the word “TAKEN” means “To take into marriage!”

In both Hebrew & Greek, the word “LEFT” means “To forsake, to reject, to abandon!”

In both Hebrew & Greek, the word “GATHERED” means “To collect into one place!”

In Revelation 19:17-19, the WICKED TARES are “GATHERED FIRST” to the BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON, where their dead bodies shall become food for the birds! They are not removed from the earth!

After this, the bride of Messiah (who has just returned back to earth with him) will be “GATHERED LAST” to “The Marriage Supper of the Lamb,” which will take place here on earth in Jerusalem.

Here is the order of events:

1.) The wise virgins are TAKEN INTO MARRIAGE to heaven on the Feast of Trumpets for a seven-day honeymoon (just like Jacob & Leah in Genesis 29:27-28). Also see Matthew 25:1-13 & John 14:2-3.

2.) The foolish virgins are LEFT OUT OF THE MARRIAGE (like Rachel). However these foolish virgins still have a chance to marry the bridegroom on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). However, they must first go and “buy the oil” (Matthew 25:9) of the bridegroom’s his name (Song of Solomon 1:3).

During the final “Ten Days of Tribulation” (Revelation 2:10), if these foolish virgins come to know Yahuwshuwa as their Messiah, they will still have a chance to marry him when he returns to the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 12:10; 13:8-9).

3.) The wicked tares are GATHERED TO THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON, WHERE THEIR DEAD BODIES BECOME FOOD FOR THE BIRDS (Zechariah 14:2; Revelation 19:17-19).

4.) The collective bride will return to earth with Messiah TEN DAYS LATER, as his army, on Yom Kippur (Revelation 19:7-14, Ezekiel 37:1-14). There will be a war between our Messiah & his army and the beast (Zechariah 14:2-4; Revelation 19:11-15).

5.) The collective bride and all the wedding guests are then GATHERED from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH to partake of “The Marriage Supper of the Lamb” in Jerusalem (Matthew 22:8-14; Matthew 24:31; Revelation 19:7). This takes place on the Feast of Tabernacles.

6.) In Luke 17:6-37, our Messiah described those who are “TAKEN” INTO MARRIAGE and he also described those who are “LEFT OUT” OF THE MARRIAGE!

But in Luke 17:32, our Messiah commands us to “REMEMBER LOT’S WIFE!”

Why does our Messiah command us to remember Lot’s wife as he is describing those who will be “TAKEN” & those who will be “LEFT?”

Because Lot’s wife was LEFT BEHIND (as a pillar of salt)---NOT TAKEN TO SAFETY!

Listen to the 4-Part Series we recorded on YouTube about who gets TAKEN & who gets LEFT!
