Discerning the Biblical Messiah From the Counterfeit

Lately, YaHuWaH has impressed upon my heart strongly to demonstrate the differences between the genuine Messiah, named Yahuwshuwa (who many call Jesus), from the impostors who are deceiving the sheep.

One of the criteria that we have from Scripture, to identify the genuine Messiah from the counterfeits, is found in 1st Yahuwchanon (John) 4:1-3.

1st Yahuwchanon (John) 4:

1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of Elohiym: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know you the Spirit of Elohiym: Every spirit that confesses that Yahuwshuwa Mashiyach is come in the flesh is of Elohiym.

3 And every spirit that confesses not that Yahuwshuwa Mashiyach is come in the flesh is not of Elohiym: and this is that spirit of anti-Messiah, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

These verses never quite made sense to me when I thought our Messiahs name was Jesus or Yeshua. My rationale went something like this: But doesnt everyone believe he came in the flesh? I mean how else did he die on the cross, if he wasnt here in flesh?

It wasnt until the year 2006, that I began to question the many variations for our Messiahs name. As I studied, prayed and researched, I learned that the full spelling of our Messiahs name can be seen in the Dead Sea Scrolls: Yod-Hey-Waw-Shin-Waw-Ayin.

The definition in the Hebrew Concordance for the name “Yahuwshuwa,” (spelled as Yehowshuwa with the Masoretic vowels), means the following:

As you can see, the full spelling of the name “Yahuwshuwa,” contains our Fathers name, “Yahuw,” and it literally means “YaHuWaH is salvation.” Conversely, the shortened Aramaic “Yeshua,” means “salvation, saved, or something saved,” however, our Fathers name has been removed by the “Lying pen of the scribes” (Jeremiah 8:8).

Consequently, 1st John 4:3 is literally telling us Every spirit that confesses that YaHuWaH our salvation is come in the flesh is of Elohiym.”

What this means, is that we must believe that our Messiah, is the Father himself, who came in the flesh.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us A SON GIVEN: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty EL [EL GIBBOR], THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace.

Yahuwchanon (John) 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS; FOR IF YOU BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM, YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS.

*Note: The word “he,” in the above passages is italicized in the King James Version, therefore, it was not there in the Greek Textus Receptus.

Yahuwchanon (John) 8:58  Yahuwshuwa said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

Now, I know what many of your are thinking. Many of you are formulating questions in your mind, and asking the classic questions that I often hear when I present this teaching.

The first question that I often hear is “Who was Messiah praying to in the garden?” The answer to this question can be found in Romans. What is being expressed in these verses, is that the Spirit of Elohiym in us, prays to the Spirit of Elohiym in heaven on the throne.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Ruwach (Spirit) also helps our infirmities (weaknesses): for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Ruwach (Spirit) itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:27 And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Ruwach (Spirit), because he makes intercession for the qodeshiym (saints) according to the will of Elohiym.

The next question that I often hear is “But Messiah is seated at the right hand of Elohiym, therefore, who is he sitting next to?”

To understand this phenomenon, we must recognize that the phrase “The right hand of power” is a Hebrew Idiom denoting a position of authority, and not necessarily, a place of physicality. To illustrate this, I will quote the following passage:

Yahuwchanon (John) 1:18 No man has seen Elohiym at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

We must ask ourselves “How is he in his Fathers bosom, and yet seated at this right hand at the same time?”

Once again, these are Hebrew Idioms, not necessarily positions of physicality. To understand what he means by being in the Fathers bosom, lets turn to this other passage:

Yahuwchanon (John) 14:8 Philip said unto him, Master, show us the Father, and it suffices us.

Yahuwchanon (John) 14:9 Yahuwshuwa said unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father?

Yahuwchanon (John) 14:10 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.

Yahuwchanon (John) 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake.

There was film entitled “Hollow Man” from 2000, starring Kevin Bacon & Elizabeth Shue. I often use this film as an analogy, to explain how the invisible Father is made visible through his Son, who is his visible image.

In this movie, Kevin Bacon is the chief scientist on a project where they are experimenting on a serum that makes people invisible. Kevin Bacon offers to become the “guinea pig” by taking the serum, and he becomes invisible. The only problem is, they cannot find the antidote to make him visible again.

In order to make him visible, Kevin Bacon lays down on a table, as the other scientists pour liquid Latex paint all over him, which conforms to his true form, thus causing him to become visible.

In this analogy, the heavenly Father is like the invisible Kevin Bacon, and the Son is like the liquid paint, which reveals his true form in a visible and tangible way.

This metaphor enables us to see that the outer shell made of latex paint is not a separate person from the invisible person underneath.

Yahuwshuwa is the First Person to Ever Exist from Eternity

Colossians 1:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible Elohiym, the firstborn of every creature.

The word “firstborn” in the above passage is the Greek word #4416 “prototokos,” which means “The first begotten or first-born.”

However, the root word #4413 is “protos,” which means “Foremost in time, in order, or importance.” It also means: “Before, best, chief, or beginning.”

This means that our Messiah has always existed before anything else was created! Additionally, our Messiah was the first human being to be “reborn” physically from a finite/mortal body, into an incorruptible (immortal) body following his resurrection.

Even though he had a pre-incarnate, visible form (from the foundations of the world), he was born of a woman, and became human flesh.

Upon his resurrection however, he put off his mortal body, and he put on an incorruptible (immortal) one. This is the true meaning of “The firstborn of every creature.” The fact that he is called “The firstborn of every creature” is wrongly interpreted by some to mean that our Messiah is a created being. However, a closer look at the Greek word for “creature” reveals something deeper.

The Greek word for “creature” is #2937, “ktisis,” which means “original formation.” Colossians 1:16 says that Yahuwshuwa, is “The creator of all things. Colossians 2:17 says that “He is before all things, and by him all things consist.

The word “before” in Colossians 2:17 is the Greek word #4253 “pro,” which means “In front of, prior to, superior.” The word “consist” is the Greek word #4921 is “sunistao,” which means “To hold together, to constitute.” This mean that by Yahuwshuwa ALL THINGS ARE LITERALLY HELD TOGETHER!

In other word, without him, nothing else exists! He is quite literally, the foremost person in time, in order, and importance. Before him, nothing else existed. He is quite literally, the first person to ever live from eternity!

In Revelation 1:11-17 & 22:13, our Messiah is referred to as “The First & the Last, the Beginning and the Ending.” This means that he did not come “after” the Father He has always existed as both the Father & Son at the same time!

Hebrews 7:3 confirms this by telling us that he has no Father, he has no beginning, nor end:

“Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of Elohiym; abides a priest continually.”

In Psalms 110:4 it says that he abides as a priest FOREVER, which is the Hebrew word “owlam.”

Owlam means “Past, present, and future---always, eternity, infinity.”

This means that the Son has always existed, and he has NO BEGINNING, NOR END!

When we read that Yahuwshuwa is called “The only begotten son,” it simply means that he is the only person to ever be born into the world from an infinite existence, into a finite existence.

The phrase “only begottenis the Greek word #3439 “monogenes,which means: “The only one of its kind.”

This means that there is no other human being who was born into the world like he was. He was conceived in the womb of a human woman by the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit), which makes him unique, and like no other person. This is because he had to possess both natures at the same time, in order to be the Messiah. He had to be 100% Elohiym so that his blood could be sinless, thereby making him the perfect spotless lamb, able to atone for the sins of humanity.

He also had to be 100% human, so that he could die in our species. So then, how did he arrive into this world as a seemingly created being?

The answer is simple. YaHuWaH created a finite human body for himself to dwell in!

Abriym (Hebrews) 10:5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he said, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared me:

In Yahuwchanon (John) 8:24, he said:

“You shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I AM, you shall die in your sins.

In the above verse, the word “he,” is italicized, indicating that it was added by the English translators.

In John 8:58, he said “Before, Abraham was, I AM!” What he is telling us is that unless we believe that he is the same one who met Moses at the burning bush, we will not be saved!

When it comes to the essence and substance of our Elohiym, we cannot attempt to describe him, (nor his finite existence as the Son of Man) using only a few cherry-picked verses.

The entire counsel of Scripture is needed to describe him. The entire counsel of Scripture (from Genesis to Revelation) harmonizes. When people attempt to isolate and argue one Scripture against another Scripture (making them appear to disagree), we run into problems.

Yahuwchanon (John) 1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohiym, and the Word was Elohiym.... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.

Hebrews 12:29 says that YaHuWaH is “A Consuming Fire.”

Our Messiah said that he would baptize us with the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) & Fire. How can he baptize us with supernatural fire, unless he, himself is the source of that fire?

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 41:4 Who has wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I YaHuWaH, THE FIRST, AND THE LAST; I AM HE.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 44:6 Thus says YaHuWaH the King of Yishra’EL, and his redeemer YaHuWaH of hosts; I AM THE FIRST, AND I AM THE LAST; AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO ELOHIYM.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Ya’aqob and Yishra’EL, my called; I AM HE; I AM THE FIRST, I also AM THE LAST.

Chazown (Revelation) 1:7 Behold, HE COMES WITH CLOUDS; and every eye shall see him, AND THEY ALSO WHICH PIERCED HIM: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Awmane.

Chazown (Revelation) 1:8 I AM Aleph & Taw, THE BEGINNING AND THE ENDING, says YaHuWaH, WHICH IS, AND WHICH WAS, AND WHICH IS TO COME, EL SHADDAY [THE ALMIGHTY].

Chazown (Revelation) 1:11 Saying, I AM Aleph & Taw, THE FIRST AND THE LAST: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven assemblies which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Chazown (Revelation) 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I AM THE FIRST, AND THE LAST:

Chazown (Revelation) 2:8 And unto the malak (angel) of the assembly in Smyrna write; These things says THE FIRST AND THE LAST, WHICH WAS DEAD, AND IS ALIVE;

Chazown (Revelation) 22:13 I AM Aleph & Taw, THE BEGINNING AND THE END, THE FIRST AND THE LAST.

Some people argue that because our Messiah is referred to as The Aleph & Taw, and Elohiym created the The Aleph & Taw, in the beginning, therefore, our Messiah must be a created being. However, this passage in Genesis 1:1 has a much deeper meaning. The Aleph & Taw,” is the first and last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, just as Alpha & Omega is the first and last letter of the Greek Alphabet.

The 22 letters in the Hebrew Alphabet, are the building blocks of all of Creation. In Hebrews 11:3, it says that Elohiym created everything out of WORDS, therefore he had to first create the LETTERS to make the WORDS to create with!

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of Elohiym, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The concept of the Aleph & Taw also means that Yahuwshuwa has no beginning, nor ending. We are told that he is Malkiy-Tzedeq (Melchizedek) who is not a created being.

Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but MADE LIKE unto the Son of Elohiym; abides a priest continually.

The phrase “MADE LIKE” means that he took on the “FORM OF A SON,” to take the place of “THE FIRST-BORN SON, YISRA’EL!”

The eternal YaHuWaH “BECAME LIKE” the first-born son, which is the nation of Yisra’el! (See Exodus 4:22). In Psalms 110:4, it says that Melchizedek is an “ETERNAL HIGH PRIEST!”

Psalm 110:4 YaHuWaH has sworn, and will not repent, YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER after the order of Melchizedek.

He even created a MORTAL, FINITE BODY for himself, so that he could TAKE OUR PLACE by dying on the cross, the “Two Sticks” of Ezekiel 37:16, the last Hebrew Letter, called “Taw!”

Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared me.

Colossians 1:16 For BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, AND FOR HIM:

Colossians 1:17 And HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, and BY HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST.

Colossians 1:17 says “HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS.”

Yahuwchanon (John) 1:3 ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; and WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANYTHING MADE THAT WAS MADE.

Some people argue that all things were created through him, and for him, but not by him. However, the Greek word for “by” is #1722, which is the word “en.”

Genesis 1:1 is telling us that Yahuwshuwa created the Hebrew Alphabet, so that he could “speak the words” that created the entire Universe!

If YaHuWaH calls himself “The First & the Last,” in the book of Isaiah, and our Messiah also calls himself “The First & the Last,” in the book of Revelation, what other conclusion can we make? There cannot be “Two Firsts,” and “Two Lasts,” because that would be an oxymoron!

YaHuWaH was showing us in Genesis 1:1 that he foreknew, that he would have to become “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world!” (Revelation 13:8).

Often-times, we encounter Anti-Missionaries who try and trick Christians, and Messianics into denying Yahuwshuwa as the Messiah, and to convert to Judaism. One of the classic arguments they use is from Numbers 23:19.

Bamidbar (Numbers) 23:19 Elohiym is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

The argument that is made from the above verse, is that Elohiym does not manifest himself in human form. But that is not what is being expressed. The remainder of the verse explains the context. YaHuWaH is telling us that he is not like sinful humanity, that he should lie, and break his promises.

However, in Genesis 1:26-27, Elohiym created mankind (humanity) “In his image, and likeness,” therefore, in that way, he is like us, because we are like him. When he says that he is not a man that he should lie, he is expressing, that he is not a sinful human, because he keeps his covenants.

Further proof is found in the account of Jacob wrestling with a man all night long, and he had an encounter with Elohiym.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 32:24 And Yaaqob (Jacob) was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 32:30  And Yaaqob (Jacob) called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen Elohiym face to face, and my life is preserved.

There is only one place in the entire Bible where the word “person” (singular) is used to describe our invisible Elohiym, and that is in Hebrews 1:3.

Speaking of our Messiah, the writer of Hebrews says the following:

“Who being, the brightness of his glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON (singular), and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of Majesty on high….”

The word “person” in this passage is the Greek word “hupostasis” which means “ESSENCE, SUBSTANCE, BEING, PERSON.”

This tells us that Elohiym is only ONE ESSENCE, ONE SUBSTANCE, ONE BEING, ONE PERSON.

You will find no place in Scripture where YaHuWaH is described as TWO or THREE SEPARATE PERSONS. The term “EXPRESS IMAGE” means “AN EXACT COPY” or “FACSIMILE.”

It does not mean that the FATHER & SON are twins, as in two separate copies of the same being. Otherwise, “The Shema” in Deuteronomy 6:4 would declare that YaHuWaH is “TWO” and not “ONE” (echad).

*Note: the word “echad” means the following: ONE, ONLY, ALONE, UNITED, ALTOGETHER.

The full scope of this word denotes that YaHuWaH is BOTH FATHER & SON, UNITED, and yet, he is still only ONE BEING--- ALTOGETHER & ALONE.

This would explain why his name “YaHuWaH” means “THE SELF-EXISTENT ONE!”

For the SON to be an “EXACT COPY” means that everything that the Father is (in his invisible form), is expressed FULLY in a TANGIBLE, and VISIBLE FORM for us to see and behold with our eyes.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwells all the FULLNESS OF THE DEITY BODILY.

Some people accuse me of being what is called a “Modalist.” However, in the Modalist narrative, only the Messiah, Yahuwshuwa (Jesus) is considered a “person,” but the Father and the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) are not considered “persons.”

This logic is flawed, because Modalism is using the dictionary definition for “person” which means “The bodily image of a human being.” However, if we use the biblical definition for “person” in Hebrews 1:3, (hupostasis), it is not limited to the bodily image of a human being. The biblical definition for “hupostasis” (person) means “a being, a substance or an essence.”

Therefore, in all three modes, Elohiym is still a person. He does not cease to be a person in any of his modes. Similarly, I am a mother, a wife, and a daughter, and yet I am only one person. Modalism would purport that I am only a person when I am in my role as a daughter, but that I am not a person in my role as a wife or a mother. This is flawed logic, which is why I do not fall into the category of the Modalist, neither a Trinitarian.

YaHuWaH is like H20, which is a “substance” that can take on at least three forms, with having it's molecular structure altered. In other words, H20 remains the same substance in all three forms: Water, Vapour, Ice.

In Job 38:28-30, YaHuWaH is described as one who has given birth to “the rain and the dew,” and “out of the womb came the ice,” which is the solid form of H20.

To properly understand how an Eternal High Priest can interact with himself as a finite being on earth, it would be like that movie entitled “Back to the Future.”

Marty McFly existed in the present time-continuum in 1985. But he traveled back in time to 1955, and he saw another version of himself there. He also existed in the future in 2015. In the movie, Marty could see a future existence of himself in 2015, and a past existence of himself in 1955. Are there three Marties?

No, there is only one Marty, but in this fictional film, Marty can exist in all time continuums at once. We know that time-travel is only possible in Messiah, because he is the one “WHO WAS, AND WHO IS, AND WHO IS TO COME. See Revelation 1:8 & 4:8.

Yahuwshuwa is able to exist outside of linear time in the PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE, just like Marty McFly in “Back to the Future.

Quantum Physics is only possible with our Messiah Yahuwshuwa, who is “The Light of the World.” We can only time-travel by traveling faster than the speed of light. Nikola Tesla may have claimed to have that technology, but nobody can surpass our Creator as being faster than the speed of light, because he himself is “THE LIGHT!”

The devil can only pretend to be “THE LIGHT,” by trying to trick and fool people into thinking he has mastered “The Creation.” But he is a liar. Time-travel is only possible when we are in Messiah, and in our incorruptible bodies. Yahuwshuwa is the author of TIME itself, because he is “THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!” (John 8:12 & 9:5).

YaHuWaH speaking of himself in the FIRST PERSON SINGULAR says the following about himself:

Zecharyahuw (Zechariah) 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of Dawiyd (David), and upon the inhabitants of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), the spirit of grace and of supplications: and THEY SHALL LOOK UPON ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED, and THEY SHALL MOURN FOR HIM, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

The ME & HIM are the same person!

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 9:6 For unto us A CHILD IS BORN, unto us A SON IS GIVEN: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, EL GIBBOR (The MIGHTY EL), THE EVERLASTING FATHER, Sar Shalom (The Prince of Peace).

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he comes with clouds; and EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM, and THEY ALSO WHICH PIERCED HIM: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Awmane.

Revelation 1:8 I am Aleph and Taw, THE BEGINNING AND THE ENDING, says YaHuWaH, WHICH IS, AND WHICH WAS, AND WHICH IS TO COME EL SHADDAY/THE ALMIGHTY.

To those who don’t believe that Yahuwshuwa is YaHuWaH, how many husbands does Yisra’el have?

YaHuWaH divorced Yisra’EL in Jeremiah 3:8, but he promised to marry her again in Hosea 2:19-20 & Isaiah 62:4. So then, who is the bridegroom that is coming back with his bride, riding on white horses in Revelation 19:7?

Is it the Father or the Son? Or is it YaHuWaH himself, showing us that he has taken on the role of both the Father & Son?

If YaHuWaH said that he is “A Father to Yisra’EL,” (Jeremiah 31:9), but he also married Yisra’el as his bride (Isaiah 54:5 & Jeremiah 3:14), that would be considered incest & homosexuality!

So you see, YaHuWaH uses metaphors to describe himself to us!

Leviticus 18:6-18 Strictly forbids a Son from marrying his Father’s wife, even if the woman is not his biological mother.

Leviticus 18:6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am YHWH.

Leviticus 18:7 The nakedness of your father, or the nakedness of your mother, shall you not uncover: she is your mother; you shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Leviticus 18:8 The nakedness of your fathers wife shall you not uncover: it is your fathers nakedness.

This was the same sin of Rebeun in Genesis 49:4; and also the sin that Shaul (Paul) called out in 1st Corinthians 5:1.

YaHuWaH describes himself as:

A Father to Yisra’EL (Jeremiah 31:9).

A Husband to Yisra’EL (Isaiah 54:5 & Jeremiah 3:14).

A Son to Yisra’EL (Isaiah 9:6).

The First & the Last (Isaiah 41:4; 44:6; 48:12; Revelation 1:11, 1:17, 2:8 & 22:13).

The Beginning & the Ending (Revelation 1:8).

What did our Messiah mean by “My Father is Greater than I?”

Why did our Messiah declare the following words in John 14:28? “MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I.”

In the Greek Textus Receptus, the word for “greater” in John 14:28 is as follows:

#3187. meizon mide'-zone irregular comparative of 3173; larger (literally or figuratively), especially, in age: --older (elder), greater(-est), more.

Thus, we can see, the Greek word for “greater,” (meizon) in John 14:28 means “older.”

Greater equals older, as in “ETERNAL!” In his role as the Son, our Messiah was in a FINITE, MORTAL BODY!

In his role as the Father, he was ETERNAL, and therefore, OLDER/GREATER! We can now decipher what our Messiah was trying to convey to us. He was essentially saying:

“My eternal existence as the Father, is OLDER/GREATER than my finite existence as the Son.”

The concept of YaHuWaH manifesting himself as both Father & Son has baffled many, because they are viewing him as a finite being with the same limitations as we mortals have.

However, once those limitations disappear, we realize that YaHuWaH is outside of linear time, and therefore, he can exist in all time continuums at once.

He exists in eternity as “The Everlasting Father,” even though he came to earth as a finite human being with a mortal body:

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 9:6 For unto us A CHILD IS BORN, unto us A SON IS GIVEN: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The MIGHTY EL [EL SHADDAY], The EVERLASTING FATHER, Sar Shalom (The Prince of Peace).

Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 28:18 And Yahuwshuwa came and spoke unto them, saying, ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH.

If Messiah has “ALL POWER,” both in heaven and earth, he is not lesser in rank or authority from the Father!

As far as EXISTENCE goes, the role of the Father is “GREATER” than the role of the Son.

However, as far as AUTHORITY goes, the Son is “EQUAL” to the Father!

Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of Elohiym, thought it not robbery to be equal with Elohiym.

Is the Holy Spirit a Female?

There are some who purport that the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) is a female or a feminine deity. The truth is, that while YaHuWaH displays both feminine & masculine attributes towards his children (birthing us, and nurturing us), his Ruwach/Spirit is not a female, because a Spirit has no gender!

The idea that the Holy Spirit is a female, goes right along with Ancient Mystery Babylon doctrine, where YaHuWaH is described as “A Family” in heaven with three on the throne:

1.) Old man - Heavenly Father (Nimrod).
2.) Young man - Son (Tammuz).
3.) Mother Mary - Queen of Heaven.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 91:10 Create in me a clean heart, O Elohiym; and renew a right RUWACH/SPIRIT within me.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 91:11 Cast me not away from YOUR PRESENCE; and take not YOUR RUWACH/SPIRIT from me.

In the above verses, David is addressing Elohiym, who is our Heavenly Father, and he is praying to him and asking “Do not take away YOUR Holy Spirit from me.”

David is obviously not addressing a SEPARATE FEMALE DEITY!

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 63:10 But they rebelled, and vexed HIS RUWACH HA’QODESH [HOLY SPIRIT]: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.

Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 63:11 Then he remembered the days of old, Mosheh (Moses), and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put HIS RUWACH HA’QODESH [HOLY SPIRIT] within him?

The Hebrew word “ruwach” (spirit) is a feminine noun, while the Hebrew word “qodesh” (holy) is a masculine noun.

YaHuWaH’s Ruwach/Spirit is the same thing as his Holy Spirit!

Some people rationalize that King Solomon called “wisdom” a “she.”

But just because the Hebrew word for “wisdom” (chokmoth) is a feminine noun, does not mean that that Holy Spirit is a female!

In the following verses, neither the word “she,” nor the word “her” appears in these verses in the Hebrew TaNaKh!

Mishley (Proverbs) 1:20 Wisdom cries without; [she] utters her voice in the streets:

Mishley (Proverbs) 9:1 Wisdom has builded [her] house, [she] has hewn out her seven pillars:

There are three different Greek words for “Lord” in the New Testament. The Greek word “kurios” is specific to the proper name of YaHuWaH in the Briyth Chadashah (New Testament) in many places.

In the 1500’s Erasmus, a Dutch Renaissance humanist, and theologian who was dedicated to correcting the errors in the Latin Vulgate, began his work on the Greek Textus Receptus. When he saw the “place-marker” of kappa sigma (KC) in the Greek manuscripts, he did not realize that this was a signal to the reader to say “YaHuWaH.”

Consequently, he translated this place-marker into the Greek word “kurios” which is not a proper name, but rather a title that simply means “lord, master.”

However, we can look up the original words in the New Testament scriptures on e-sword, (whenever we see the word “lord”), and we can ascertain whether the word there is the proper name of YaHuWaH, or if it is merely the title “master.”

Below, we find three different words from the Greek Strong’s Concordance that will help us know for sure if the word intended in any given New Testament passage is “master” or YaHuWaH:

#1203. despotes des-pot'-ace perhaps from 1210 and posis (a husband); an absolute ruler (despot):--Lord, master.

#3617. oikodespotes oy-kod-es-pot'-ace from 3624 and 1203; the head of a family:--goodman (of the house), householder, master of the house.

#2962. kurios koo’ree-os from kuros (supremacy); supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller; by implication, Master (as a respectful title):-- God, Lord, master, Sir.

Therefore, every time we see that the word is “kurios” (#2962), it is the proper name of YaHuWaH!

However, when the word intended is simply “master” (a title) the word will be #1203 despostes or # 3617 oikodepotes.

Many places in the King James Version, the phrase “The Lord Jesus Christ” is seen, but when we restore the proper name it should read like this: “YaHuWaH Yahuwshuwa Mashiyach!”

What is the Doctrine of the Trinity?

There is the Roman Catholic Version of “The Trinity,” which became Roman Law at the Council of Nicaea in the 4th Century under the Emperor Constantine. However, there is a reformatted version of the Protestants, which attempts to correct the Roman Catholic heresies, but it still causes confusion by telling people Theres only one God, but hes three separate persons.

This is basically what is called an oxymoron, and I can totally understand why so many people grapple with the concept of a Trinity. The dictionary defines the word oxymoron,as “A figure of speech in which contradictory terms appear in conjunction. An example of this is like the expression skinny-fat,which means that a person can appear skinny with clothes on, but underneath, their body is flabby, and not muscular.

At one time, (when I called myself a Trinitarian), I would often hear other Trinitarians make excuses like Its a mystery---nobody can understand the essence of our Creator. Now I realize that was just a weak excuse to try and explain away the oxymoron of one Elohiym as three separate people.

The entire counsel of Scripture tells us to worship only ONE Elohiym, and there are curses for praying to, and worshiping more than one entity. The word Trinity comes from Ancient Mystery Babylon, and can be found no place in Scripture. There is no such word as Godhead in the TaNaKh (Old Testament). That word Godhead is a construct of the English translators.

Is the Word Elohiym” Plural?

Often-times I hear people using Genesis 1:26 to justify the Trinity doctrine, but the English translators added the word “US” & “OUR” into the text!

As a matter of fact, in the next verse (Genesis 1:27), we see Elohiym referring to himself in “FIRST PERSON SINGULAR” again.

In the following verse, I have placed brackets around the words that were added by the English translators:

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 1:26 And Elohiym said, [Let us] make man [in our] image, [after our] likeness: [and let them have] dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 1:27 So Elohiym created man IN HIS OWN IMAGE, IN THE IMAGE of Elohiym created he him; male and female created he them.

The reason why the English translators use the words “US” & “OUR,” is because they misunderstand the word “Elohiym” to be a plurality of beings!

The word Elohiym does not denote a plurality of persons, but rather, a plurality of offices and functions. An example would be the title King of Kings & Lord of Lords in Revelation 19:16. The word Elohiym means that he is the Elohiym above all others.

In the Hebrew mind-set, it is understood that Elohiym is a plurality superlatives or adjectives to describe his greatness.

In other words, he is the EL above all other Elohiym!

He is the Elohiym above all other false deities!

He is the God of Gods (to put it in laymens terms). This is what the term Elohiym literally means!

It would be the same thing as me telling my husband “You are the husband above all other husbands!”

An abbreviated way to say this would be “You are the husband of husbands!

If you heard me saying this to my husband, you would not think I have more than one husband. It would be understood that I am expressing his superiority above all other men.

This is illustrated several times in the TaNaKh (Old Testament) as follows:

Yahuwshuwa (Joshua) 22:22 YHWH EL of Elohiym [God of gods], YHWH EL of Elohiym [God of gods], he knows, and Yisra’EL he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against YHWH, (save us not this day,).

*Explanation: In the above passage, we see Hebrew Strong#430, which is El, meaning “The Almighty, followed by Hebrews Strongs #433, which is the word Elohiym,” meaning “The Supreme God.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 136:2 O give thanks unto the Elohiym of Elohiym [God of gods]: for his mercy endures forever.

*Explanation: In this passage, we see Hebrew Strong#433, which is Hebrews Strongs #433, used twice. This another poetic way of saying that he is “The Supreme God above all other gods.

Daniel 2:47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your Elahh of Elahh [God of gods], and a Master of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing you could reveal this secret.

*Explanation: In the above passage, we see Hebrew Strong#426, “Elahh which is Chaldean, but it means the same thing as Elohiym. Once again, this is a poetic way of saying that he is “The Supreme God above all other gods.

Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the EL of EL [God of God], and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

*Explanation: In this above passage, we see Hebrew Strong#410, “El which is Chaldean, but it means the same thing as “The Almighty. Once again, this is a poetic way of saying that he is “The Almighty above all other mighty gods.

When the English translators saw the word Elohiym, they misunderstood this to mean a plurality of persons, rather than a plurality of superlatives (adjectives).

This is why they attempted to translate Genesis 1:26 into English by using the words us & our. However, Genesis 1:27 gives us the correct interpretation, because they reverted back to Elohiym in the first-person singular tense.

In John 1:1 where it says In the beginning was the Word, and the was with Elohiym, and the Word was Elohiym, it is conveying that Elohiym has an expression of himself that is a visible, tangible image that we can see in this finite world.

It means that even though he is invisible, he also has a visible, bodily image for himself to be seen through (which is the Son).

The word “angel in the TaNaKh (OT) is the Hebrew word “malak, which means A messenger, a prophet, a priest, an ambassador.

Most English-speaking people see the word “angel and they imagine a winged creature. But this word “angel means much more than that. When we see the English phrase “Angel of the LORD, in Hebrew, its only two words: Malak YaHuWaH (Messenger YaHuWaH).

This means YaHuWaH has a part of himself that he sends to earth to be a messenger. It does not mean that he sends a completely different person in his stead. It means that he is the WORD, that would later on put on human flesh (mortality).

But even before he came to earth, he had a Pre-Incarnate existence in eternity, which was visible to humans.

Here is the definition in the Strong’s Concordance for the word Elohiym.

#430 elohiym el-o-heem plural of 433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used in the plural thus, especially with the article of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:--angels, exceeding, God, very great, judges, almighty.

As you can see, it says Gods in the ordinary sense. But, it goes on to state that it is specifically used in the plural, but with the article. The article would be like the English word The. Using the plural word Elohiym with the article The,” is like saying The Elohiym of all other Elohiym.

It does not denote a plurality of persons, but rather, a plurality of positions, ranks, or greatness thus The God of all Gods. This is evident by the remainder of the definition, which says The Supreme God.

This word Elohiym is a plurality of superlatives, or adjectives to describe his Supremacy above all others! The dictionary defines the word superlativeas “An exaggerated or hyperbolic expression of praise; something or someone embodying excellence.

Therefore, Elohiym as a plural word is denoting that he is a plurality of greatness, a plurality of descriptions and adjectives that nobody can adequately describe in words!

In conclusion, the biblical Messiah is not one of three persons. He is truly one person with the Father, but he takes on many roles. He displays himself as the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, the bridegroom, the lion, the lamb, etc.
