https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/DPIMinistriesIn the Book of Esther, there are many surprising messages that point prophetically to the Messiah of Yisra’el, who many in the nations call “Jesus.” However, as we approach the second coming of Messiah in these last days, we are now learning that “The lying pen of the scribes” (Jeremiah 8:8), was instrumental in hiding the name of our Heavenly Father, (YaHuWaH), as well as the name of his Son, Yahuwshuwa. It was the wise King Solomon who caused us to ponder this question:
Mishley (Proverbs) 30:4 Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if you can tell?
All throughout the TaNaKh (Towrah, Prophets & Writings), there are many personalities, and people of faith who have displayed characteristics of the promised Messiah of Yisra’el. And surprisingly, Queen Esther is one of those people.
Just like our Messiah, Queen Esther fasted “For three days,” as she pleaded before the throne of heaven for the life of her people, the Yahuwdiym (Jews) in Persia.
Following the victory that she won in Persia, she decreed an annual memorial celebration called “Puwriym,” which means “To crush!”
We are reminded in the Book of Esther, that through the “The seed of the woman, the serpent’s head is crushed!” (Genesis 3:15).
But there is another similarity between Esther and our Messiah. Did you know that Queen Esther had a “hidden name” when she was sent “incognito” into the Persian Empire?
Our Messiah was also given a “hidden name,” when his Gospel was sent to the heathen nations! We see the same pattern with Joseph in Egypt. See my other blog entitled: Messiah Ben Joseph, The Suffering Servant & His Hidden Name
According to the Hebrew TaNaKh, Queen Esther was born with the name הֲדַסָּה Hadassah (“Myrtle”). Her name was changed to Esther to hide her identity upon becoming the Queen of Persia. The three letter root of Esther in Hebrew is S-T-R ( סתר), “hide, conceal.” The passive infinitive is ( לְהִסָּ֫תֶר), “to be hidden.”
Did you know that the name “Esther” means “Hidden & Star?”
Our Messiah is called “The Star of Ya’aqob” (Numbers 24:17); he is also called “The Bright & Morning Star” (Revelation 2:28; 22:16). Malachi 4:2 calls him “The Sun of Righteousness,” which is the largest star in our Galaxy.
Hadassah (Esther) was a “type & shadow” of our Messiah, as she laid down her life to save the Yahuwdiym (Jews) in Persia from complete annihilation. Some people argue that the Book of Esther should not be in the Bible, as they claim that the name of YaHuWaH does not appear even once in the entire book.
Well, guess what?
The Name of YaHuWaH is “HIDDEN” in the Book of Esther 20 times!
Also, the “Aleph & Taw” is “HIDDEN” 81 times in the Book of Esther!
I highly recommend reading this blog, wherein, you will uncover many hidden treasures pointing to the Messiah of Yisra’el, named Yahuwshuwa: “How Does Purim Point to Messiah?”
What message do we find in the name of Esther, Hadassah, & Puwriym in Pictograph Hebrew?
Here is the message we find in the Abriym (Hebrew) Pictograph letters for the name Esther:
*Aleph - the Red Heifer, Ox, Strong Leader.
*Samekh - thorn, hate, suffering.
*Taw - two crossed sticks, mark, sign.
*Rosh - head, first, top, beginning.
*Aleph - Like our Messiah, who became the ox, or “The Red Heifer” (to cleanse Persia for shedding innocent blood), Esther, interceded and became a strong leader (Aleph) in Persia.
*Samekh - The Yahuwdiym (Jews) in Persia suffered persecution and were hated, (Samekh) by Haman who cursed them, and became a thorn, (Samekh) to them. But Esther risked her life to protect (Samekh) her people.
*Taw - Like our Messiah, Esther risked her life by fasting (dying to self) for “three days and three nights,” accepting death as the ultimate consequence of her bravery. Thus, she was a picture of “the cross” (self-denial) or the “Taw.”
*Rosh - After Esther was instrumental in bringing about victory over death for her people, she was crowned as “Queen” and thus, she and her cousin Mordechai became the “head” (Rosh) over Haman’s Estate.
Here is the message we find in the Abriym (Hebrew) Pictograph letters for the name Hadassah:
*Hey - the breath, reveal, inspiration, to look.
*Daleth - the door, entrance.
*Samekh - thorn, protect, hate.
*Hey - the breath, reveal, inspiration, to look.
*Hey - Esther was inspired by the breath (Hey) of YaHuWaH, the Ruwach ha’Qodesh to fast and pray for three days and three nights to approach the king with favor.
*Daleth - Esther went through the “door” (Daleth) into the king’s chamber, which was forbidden under Persian law. She petitioned for the life of the Yahuwdiym (Jews) and opened a “door” (Daleth) of salvation for YaHuWaH’s people.
*Samekh - Like our Messiah who bore “A crown of thorns,” and was hated (Samekh), so Esther was willing to bear the hatred (Samekh) and the death sentence of Haman to save the Yahuwdiym (Jews) from complete annihilation. Thus, she protected (Samekh) her own life, as well as the lives of the Yahuwdiym (Jews) in Persia. In the end, she was crowned as “Queen,” just as our Messiah traded his crown of thorns (Samekh) for a crown in heaven.
*Hey- After Esther invited the King & Haman to a banquet, she was able to “reveal” (Hey) the truth about Haman, and also that she was “A Yahuwdiy” (Jew), with her true name as Hadassah. Like our Messiah, (who petitioned the Heavenly Father for the life of his people), his true name and identity was revealed (Hey) to us when he resurrected from the grave.
Here is the message we find in the Abriym (Hebrew) Pictograph letters for the word Puwriym:
*Pey - mouth, speak, prophesy.
*Waw - the nail, hook, tent peg, household, family.
*Rosh - head, beginning, top, first, authority.
*Yod - the arm, hand, work.
*Mem - water, blood, mighty, chaos.
*Mem - water, blood, mighty, chaos.
*Pey - Esther opened her “mouth” (Pey) by fasting and praying, and then she made a petition to the king.
*Waw - Esther was the “nail” (Waw) or the connector between the Yahuwdiym in Persia and the Persians. She brought about justice and reconciliation when the Yahuwdiym were given the ability to fight against their enemies. Haman and his ten sons were “nailed” (Waw) to the gallows and hung. Thus, the “tents” or households (Waw) of Yahuwdah (Judah) were saved.
*Rosh - Esther petitioned her “head” (Rosh), her King in heaven, and her earthly king and husband. Thus, she received a “crown” upon her “head” (Rosh), and was given the “golden scepter” or the authority (Rosh) to make decrees.
*Yod - Like our Messiah who was the “Arm” (Yod) that saved Yisra’el out of Egypt, Esther performed the “work” (Yod) which saved the Yahuwdiym from perishing.
*Mem - The war that Haman waged against the Yahuwdiym (Jew) in Persia caused chaos (Mem). Our Messiah spoke to the raging storm, to the chaotic waters (Mem), and they became still. When Esther fasted and prayed, she became a mighty warrior in the Spirit, silencing the chaotic war (Mem) that was waged against her people.
Our Messiah offered salvation to the Samaritan Woman in teh form of “Living Water” (Mem). The same salvation was granted to Esther/Hadassah and her people. The word “Mem” also means blood, thus laying down one’s life for another, is like giving life/blood (Mem).
Should the Book of Esther Be in the Bible?
There are some people who have tried to suggest that the book of Esther should not be in the Bible because they say that the name of our Creator is not mentioned in there even once. But did you know that the name of our Creator the “I AM” (HaYaH) is encoded in the book of Esther 19 times? Yes it is!
The same name that he revealed to Mosheh at the burning bush in Exodus 3:14-15 is “I am that I am” which can also mean “I will be who I will be” or “He who causes to exist.” This name is listed in the Hebrew Strong’s Concordance as “HaYaH” which is #H1961, and it also means “To be, to exist, to breathe, to cause to exist.” This name HaYaH is seen 19 times in the book of Esther!
The Paleo Pictograph Letters are seen below from right to left: Hey, Yod, Hey which means the following: The arm, the breath, behold, to look, to reveal.
The Hebrew letter “Yod” is a picture of “The Arm,” and it describes a metaphor of our Messiah who is called by Isaiah “The arm of YaHuWaH” (Isaiah 51:9, Isaiah 53:1, John 12:38).
The letter “Hey” means “The breath, or the spirit, to reveal, to behold, to look” YaHuWaH breathed into Adam the breath of life, and it is by his spirit that we have life.
In the book of Esther, every time you see the phrase “And it came to pass” that phrase is simply one word: #1961, HaYaH which means “He who causes to be.”
What this means, is that HaYaH (I AM) caused the Book of Esther to exist!
There are three primitive roots to the name of YaHuWaH found in Scripture. We can find all three of these roots out of the Scriptures, by simply knowing what to look for.
These words are found in the Hebrew Strong’s Concordance, and it also gives us the pronunciation and the meaning:
*HaYaH...to be, to exist (#H1961 in the Strong’s Concordance). *HuWA...he (she or it) (#H1931 in the Strong’s Concordance). *HaWaH....to breathe, to exist (#H1933 in the Strong’s Concordance).
*HaYaH + HuWA + HaWaH = YaH HuW WaH = YaHuWaH YaHuWaH = yaw-hoo-wah
*The name YaHuWaH means the following: “I AM HE (who) BREATHED” or “I AM HE (who) EXISTS.”
*Our Messiah’s name (Joshua) is #H3091 and it is 6 Hebrew letters: Yod, Hey, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin: YHWSWA.
*The name YaHuWShuWA (Joshua) is made up of the following Hebrew words:
*HaYaH...to be, to exist (#H1961 in the Strong’s Concordance). *HuWA...he (she or it) (#H1931 in the Strong’s Concordance). *YShuWA....salvation (#H3444 in the Strong’s Concordance).
*HaYaH + HuWA + YShuWA: “I am he who exists to save,” or you could also say “I am he who breathed salvation.”

In Revelation 1:8, the Greek translation says that our Messiah is the “Alpha & Omega” which means “The first and last letter of the Greek Alphabet.” However, the book of Revelation was first written in the Hebrew tongue, before being translated into Greek.
Therefore, he revealed himself to John as “The Aleph & Taw,” the first and last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. In the book of Esther, these Paleo Hebrew Pictographs of “The Aleph & Taw” are encoded 81 times!
The “Aleph & Taw” is a picture of the “Red Heifer” or the head of an ox, being sacrificed on “Two Sticks” (the cross). These letters are found thousands of times in the Tanakh (Old Testament), beginning with Genesis 1:1. Below is an illustration of the E-sword program with Paleo Hebrew fonts, showing that Elohiym created the Aleph & Taw, the Hebrew Alphabet before he even created heaven and earth!
In the Strong’s Hebrew Concordance, these letters are spelled out as a word which is #H853 “eyth.” The definition of this word simply means “sign of the definite direct object.” When you see these two letters in the scriptures, it represents our Messiah, who is the first an the last! He is the red heifer nailed to two sticks or the cross!
In Hosea 10:11 The House of Ephrayim (the ten divorced tribes) are likened unto a “Heifer.” Our Messiah fulfilled not only the Passover Lamb sacrifice for the “firstborn,” but he also fulfilled the sacrifice of the “Red Heifer,” for the outcasts.
In some instances, we also find the letter “Waw” in between the Aleph & Taw. The “Waw” symbolizes “The nail.” When these three letters appear altogether, we get a complete picture of “The red heifer, the nail, and the cross!”

The waw (nail) is a connector, and it reveals that his blood covenant is what holds the house (tent) of Yisra’el together. The Apostle Sha’uwl (Paul) wrote in Ephesians 2:15-16 that his sacrifice made the Two Houses of Yisra’el (Jewish & Gentile followers of Messiah) “One new man!” Paul also wrote that Messiah has made both (Jew & Gentile) “One body by the cross!” (Ephesians 2:16).
In the 9th chapter, (when Esther is giving the decree) to remember “Puwriym” (which means to crush the plans of Satan), there are Twelve “Aleph & Taw’s” in that one chapter for the Twelve Tribes of Yisra’el!

The Father has hidden his name in the book of Esther as “HaYaH” 20 times.
He has also hidden our Messiah in the book of Esther with the “Aleph & Taw” 81 times.
Therefore, every time we see the phrase “And it came to pass” in the book of Esther, the Heavenly Father is revealing to us his name!
In other words “He who causes to be” wrote to book of Esther, for his signature is all over the book!
Why would he hide himself in the Book of Esther?
Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of Elohiym to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
Esther’s husband, King Ahasuerus, (who symbolizes our Messiah) sought for an obedient wife, and he found her!
In the 9th chapter, (verse 21), where it says that we should “Keep the 14th & 15th day of the 12th month of Adar,” (Purim), it is written with the name HaYaH (I AM) right there, IN FRONT OF THE WORD KEEP!
This means that “The Days of Puwriym” (Purim) are DECREED that we should remember them, because YaHuWaH, (I AM) has placed his NAME THERE!
And, even though it is a Babylonian name, having it’s roots in the pagan goddess “Ishtar” (Easter), it was ordained of YaHuWaH that Hadassah would go into the Persian Empire INCOGNITO!
*Note: The same thing happened when Joseph’s real name was hidden in Egypt as “Zaphnath-paaneah.” The same thing happened when our Messiah’s name (Yahuwshuwa) was hidden in the nations as “Jesus!”
Queen Esther’s real name was eventually revealed, as “Hadassah,” but her cousin Mordechai instructed her to use a “HIDDEN IDENTITY,” so that she would not be killed!
Therefore, it stands to reason that even YaHuWaH allowed his name to be “HIDDEN” in the book of Esther, because our Messiah’s name has been “HIDDEN” in the nations for these past 2,000 years, until only recently, when Yisra’el was reborn in 1948, that the true name of the Father & Son has come to light!
Here are 20 places where the name “I AM” (HaYaH) is found in the Book of Esther. It is #1961 in the Hebrew Concordance, and you can easily find it in the KJV+ on esword:
