In Isaiah 14 & Ezekiel 28, there are prophecies that seem to be referring to the King of Babylon & the Prince of Tyre.
However, as you continue to read, it becomes apparent in both of these accounts, that the characters mentioned in these two prophecies were once in heaven as a SHINING, BRIGHT CREATURE!
We know that neither the King of Babylon, nor the Prince of Tyre have ever been to heaven, much less were they cast out of heaven.
Both of these accounts seem to be alluding to the idea that Satan, aka Lucifer, the fallen angel is the one being spoken of. Even though the earthly hosts whom he operated through was the literally King of Babylon as well as the literal Prince of Tyre, we get a glimpse into the mechanism by which our Creator allows earthly kings to be used by spiritual forces in the heavenly realms.
The original King of Babylon was Nimrod in Genesis, the 10th chapter. However, at the time of Isaiah the prophet, King Nebuchadnezzar would have been the obvious one spoken of in Isaiah 14. Ezekiel 28 speaks of a Prince of Tyre. Yet, it is also mysterious that these personalities were said to be “In the garden of Eden.”
Many have speculated as to who these illusive characters are. But, what if I told you that the King of Babylon & the Prince of Tyre, are really an allusion to the fallen angel Lucifer?

These two prophecies in Isaiah & Ezekiel seem to be describing an earthly king, yet, we know from reading Daniel 10:13-20 that for every “ground prince,” there is a ruling demon prince (a principality) or a fallen angel.
Hence, the fallen one spoken of in Isaiah 14 & Ezekiel 28 is indeed Satan who also possessed Nimrod, Nebuchadnezzar, and the Prince of Tyre. There is a similarity to Isaiah 14 & Ezekiel 28 revealing that these prophecies are about Satan himself, as well as the earthly vessels who were being used to carry out his evil plans.

Let us examine these two prophecies in the Authorized King James Version. I have updated the archaic words and restored the sacred names in the KJV verses below:
That is why I use the Hebrew Masoretic Text which is what the King James Version uses. In the 3rd Century, the Roman Emperor Constantine hired Eusebeus (a bishop of Cesarea) to make fifty Bibles for him in Latin Vulgate.
Twelve years after I published this article, I found another witness to what I have written by David W. Daniel’s at this website:
Should the Bible Say “Lucifer” or “Morning Star” in Isaiah 14:12?
© 2002 by David W. Daniels
Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 14:
11 Your pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your viols [violins, stringed instruments]: the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you.
12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer [Heylel, brightness], son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!
13 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohiym: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
11 Your pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your viols [violins, stringed instruments]: the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you.
12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer [Heylel, brightness], son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!
13 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohiym: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Yechezqel (Ezekiel )28:
1 The word of YHWH came again unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus says YHWH Elohiym; Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am an Elohiym, I sit in the seat of Elohiym, in the midst of the seas; yet you are a man, and not Elohiym, though you set your heart as the heart of Elohiym:
What we see here in Ezekiel 28 is that the Prince of Tyre (Tyrus) was in the Garden of Eden:
Yechezqel (Ezekiel )28:
7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon you, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your BRIGHTNESS.
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus says YHWH Elohiym; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 You have been in Eden the garden of Elohiym; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created.
14 You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you were upon the holy mountain of Elohiym you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was found in you.
16 By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of Elohiym: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your BRIGHTNESS: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
One of the reasons why some people object to the idea of Lucifer being the same creature as Satan, is because the Hebrew name for the Latin “Lucifer,” is “Heylel,” which literally means “Brightness or shining one.” The name “Satan,” means “The Adversary.”
What most people seem to forget is that Lucifer (Heylel) was once a COVERING CHERUB, which means that he was ILLUMINATED by the Light of YaHuWaH at the throne!
Once he was cast down, and out of heaven, he was no longer called “Heylel,” or the Bright & Shining One!

The Prince of Tyrus was possessed by Satan, and he was also the one who possessed the Prince of Babylon as well. This is why Ezekiel said that he was in the Garden of Eden!
Similarly, in the prophecy in Isaiah 14:12, we know that this is primarily about King Nebuchadnezzar who ruled in the days of the prophet Isaiah.
And yet, with all prophecy, history has a habit of repeating itself. Therefore, Nimrod, (who was also the first King of Babylon) is also being described in Isaiah 14 as well. Nimrod was “cut down to the ground like an abominable branch” (Isaiah 14:19). This verse is an allusion to the way in which Nimrod was killed, as described in the book of Yasher (Jasher) the 27th chapter.
To learn more about how Nimrod and Santa Claus are personifications of Lucifer, see the blog entitled: “Santa Claus or Satan Claws?”
Nimrod had his limbs chopped off as limbs to a tree, which is why the heathen worship trees at the Winter Solstice in his honor. It became a custom to decorate the tree with little gold balls to honor Nimrod as a symbol of Nimrod’s testicles!
This is why in Ezekiel 8:17, we read that the people were adopting the pagan custom of “putting the branch to the nose,” which was an act of worship for Nimrod who was worshiped as “Baal, the god of the tree.”
In Jeremiah 10, we read about a “vain custom” where the people were “cutting down trees from the forest and decorating it with silver and gold.”

This custom first began in Ancient Babylon as a memorial for Nimrod, because he was cut down like a tree. His body parts were chopped of like limbs to a tree and these body parts were delivered to all ten provinces in the Land of Shinar as an example to those who sacrificed infants to Molech.
According to some historians, Nimrod was killed by a bounty hunt put out by Shem, (the son of Noah). However, it was Esau (the twin brother of Jacob) who actually shot the arrow that killed Nimrod (according to the book of Jasher).
Both Nimrod and Nebuchadnezzar were kings of Babylon whose bodies were being used as a host to carry out the evil schemes of the kingdom of darkness. We also know that Isaiah 14:12 is about Satan, because the King of Babylon never went to heaven, nor did he ever fall from heaven:
Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 14:12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Heylel (Lucifer), son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!

Our Messiah saw Satan fall from heaven, and this how we know that Isaiah 14:12 is speaking of is Satan!
Luqas (Luke) 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
The name “Lucifer” is a Latin translation for the Hebrew name “Heylel” which simply means “light bringer.” Both the Latin name Lucifer and the Hebrew name Heylel mean the very same thing.
Before Satan fell from heaven, he was a worship leader at the throne in heaven as we have seen in Ezekiel 28:13-14. This is why his name means “light bringer, shining one.”
However, after his fall, he lost his light, and was no longer called “Heylel.” His name was called “Beelzebub” by our Messiah in Matthew 10:25, Matthew 12:24-27; Mark 3:22 & Luke 11:15-19.
What does the name “Beelzebub” mean?
In the Greek Strong’s Concordance, it is seen as follows:
The Hebrew term “Heylel Ben Shachar” means “son of the morning,” which indicates that he was only a “son” (a created being) and that the Messiah, “The Morning Star” created him.
#954. Beelzeboul beh-el-zeb-ool’ of Chaldee origin (by parody on 1176); dung-god; Beelzebul, a name of Satan:--Beelzebub; a name of Satan, the prince of evil spirits; “lord of the house.”
The Hebrew Concordance references the same word as follows:
#1176 Ba`al Zbuwb bah’-al zeb-oob’ from 1168 and 2070; Baal of (the) Fly; Baal-Zebub, a special deity of the Ekronites:--Baal-zebub.
Satan, aka Lucifer was once a worship leader in heaven, but now his name literally means “lord of the flies” or “Baal of the flies!”
Now, let us take a look at this word for heylel:
#1966 heylel hay-lale’ from 1984 (in the sense of brightness); -Lucifer.
#1966 heylel hay-lale’ from 1984 (in the sense of brightness); -Lucifer.
*Note: this word “heylel” comes from another root word:
#1984 halal haw-lal’ a primitive root; to be clear; to shine; hence, to make a show, to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively, to celebrate; also to stultify:--(make) boast (self), commend, (deal, make), fool (- ish, -ly), glory, give (light), be (make, feign self) mad (against), give in marriage, (sing, be worthy of) praise, rage, renowned, shine.
Another derivative of this word is as follows:
#1974 hilluwl hil-lool’ from 1984 (in the sense of rejoicing); a celebration of thanksgiving for harvest:--merry, praise.
*Note: this word “hilluwl” is where we get the term “HalleluYah.” It means “to praise.”
In Psalm 106:1, we see the phrase “Praise you, Yah” or in the King James Version “Praise ye the LORD.”
In Hebrew, this phrase is “Halal Yahh.”
Some of these anti-sacred name Christian groups will try and use this as so-called “proof” that the name our Creator “Yah” or YaHuWaH is a code name for Satan! However, all it proves is that Satan was once a “covering cherub” who used to “praise Yah” at the throne!
The Hebrew term “Heylel Ben Shachar” means “son of the morning,” which indicates that he was only a “son” (a created being) and that the Messiah, “The Morning Star” created him.
The Greek Septuagint inaccurately translates this in Isaiah 14:12 as “The Morning Star,” insinuating that it was Yahuwshuwa (aka Jesus) who fell from heaven.
You see, the title “The Bright and Morning Star,” in Revelation 22:16 is reserved for Yahuwshuwa Mashiyach (Messiah) alone.
The Greek Septuagint translates this as if it says in Hebrew: “Boqer Kokab” (Morning Star). This was done deliberately in order to make people believe that our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa is also the fallen angel Lucifer or Heylel!
Many people have been confused over this one verse in Isaiah 14;12, and they begin to question the identity of our Messiah. I have seen Orthodox Jews use the Septuagint to convert people away from our Messiah with this one verse in Isaiah 14:12 from the Septuagint!

That is why I use the Hebrew Masoretic Text which is what the King James Version uses. In the 3rd Century, the Roman Emperor Constantine hired Eusebeus (a bishop of Cesarea) to make fifty Bibles for him in Latin Vulgate.
But instead of using the original Hebrew Tanakah (Old Testament), he used the corrupted Greek Septuagint which was transcribed by Clement & Origen, two men from the Gnostic School of Alexandria. These men did not believe that our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa is YaHuWaH (the Father) come to us in human flesh, so they removed the verses that they did not like from the Hebrew text, and this is how the Greek Septuagint was formed.
The Septuagint did not go into print until the 2nd Century A.D. (contrary to popular belief). The Vatican has propagated a lie (in order to defend the Catholic Bible’s legitimacy) and they make all scholars in their Jesuit propaganda believe that the Septuagint pre-dates our Messiah. But this is a lie.
The Septuagint only goes back to 2nd Century Gnosticism. Here is evidence based on a letter from a man named Aristeas that shows that the historic events mentioned in this letter did not happen until the 2nd Century proving that the Septuagint is a Gnostic Conspiracy Hoax in order to discredit the deity of our Messiah:
Some people argue that the Latin name “Lucifer” was added to the text in Isaiah 14:12 by King James translators. Well this is absolutely true!
However, even though it was added to the text, the King James translators let us know that it was not part of the original text by placing the name “Lucifer” in italics. Whenever we see words in italics in the King James Version, it means that the word was not there in the text originally.
The Latin name Lucifer is just another way of calling Satan a fallen star or a fallen angel. The Hebrew text does not use the Latin name Lucifer, but the word Heylel in Hebrew does mean the very same thing which is “light bringer, shining one.”

The Apostle Sha’ul said that Satan can transform himself as an “angel of light” in 2nd Corinthians 11:14. The brightest star in our solar system is the sun, which is why Malachi 4:2, calls our Messiah “The sun of righteousness.”
Satan wants to be the brightest star (the sun) or “The morning star” and this is why he has tricked people into worshiping the the sun through pagan sun-god worship holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Valentines Day etc. The pagans worship the created object of the sun instead of the one who created the sun (Messiah).
We read in Colossians 1:16 that our Messiah is the creator of all things both in heaven and in earth. This means that he even created Satan who was once a “covering cherub” at the throne in heaven. Satan was like one of the stars before his fall and Messiah watched him fall:
Luqas (Luke) 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Some people within the Messianic & Hebraic Roots Community have tried to suggest that there is no real entity called “Satan.” They say that the word for “Satan” in Hebrew is not even a proper name, but a term that simply refers to the “Yetzer Hara” meaning “evil inclination.”
However, not so fast! Did you know that there are actually two different words for “Satan” in the Hebrew Tanakh (Old Testament)?
You will see that one reference is a verb which means “to accuse or attack.” However, the other word for “Satan” is a proper name which means “the arch enemy of good, the adversary.” Below are these two separate words from the Hebrew Concordance:
You will see that one reference is a verb which means “to accuse or attack.” However, the other word for “Satan” is a proper name which means “the arch enemy of good, the adversary.” Below are these two separate words from the Hebrew Concordance:
#7853 satan saw-tan’ a primitive root; to attack, (figuratively) accuse:--(be an) adversary, resist.
#7854 satan saw-tawn’ from 7853; an opponent; especially (with the article prefixed) Satan, the arch-enemy of good:--adversary, Satan, withstand.
Also, in Luke 10:18, where Yahuwshuwa said that he saw Satan fall as lightning, we would have to believe that the “evil inclination” had fallen like lightning, and we know that has not happened yet, because the evil inclination is still evident to this day in people.
In the final analysis, I believe that Lucifer or “light bringer” (Heylel) was the former name of the malak (angel) who was once the worship leader in the shamayim (heaven).
Since Satan can transform himself as an “angel of light,” (even though he is now a fallen angel), he still tries to portray himself as “the light bringer, the shining one.”
The spirit of Lucifer lived through his hosts such as Nebuchadnezzar & Nimrod (Kings of Babylon), and also the Prince of Tyrus. These were human vessels through which he operated.
The prophecies in Isaiah 14 & Ezekiel 28 both speak in figurative language of these earthly kings, yet, also of the one who possessed these kings which is the former Lucifer/ Heylel who is now called Satan, the Serpent, the Dragon, Beelzebub.
Twelve years after I published this article, I found another witness to what I have written by David W. Daniel’s at this website:
Should the Bible Say “Lucifer” or “Morning Star” in Isaiah 14:12?
© 2002 by David W. Daniels
On April 27, 2014, Pope Francis and the Vatican introduced the world to their “god” that they’ve been worshipping all along.
They call him “Lucifer,” which in Latin means “Light-bringer” or “Light-bearer!
See the YouTube Video to hear the Latin Mass recited, worshiping Lucifer:
This is the official new Statement of Faith of the Roman Catholic Church, since 2014, and the English translation of the Latin Prayer in the video:
“His flame dawning his own son.
May, I say to you O, lucifer who knows no setting,
Christ is your son who came back from the dead,
and shed his light to the human race,
and is alive and reigns for ever and ever.”
Pope Francis is the first Jesuit in history to occupy the office of a “White Pope.”
Since the 1500’s, the Jesuits call themselves “The Illuminati,” which in Latin, which means “The Enlightened Ones.”
They believe that the true “Light of the World” is Satan, but they call him “Lucifer” in Latin, to disguise him as the Messiah, whom they conflate with the Morning Star.
In Roman folklore, Lucifer means “light-bringer,” and was associated with the planet “Venus,” though it was often personified as a male figure bearing a torch.
The Greek name for this planet was variously “Phosphorous,” which also means “light-bringer.”
However, we know that the true “Light of the World” is our Messiah, Yahuwshuwa (John 8:12 & 9:5).
In the King James Version, here is what Isaiah 14:12 says:
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
This matches the Hebrew translation, which calls the fallen angel “Heylel, Ben Shachar,” which means the following:
#1966 heylel hay-lale' from 1984 in the sense of brightness; lucifer, shining one.
#1984 halal haw-lal' a primitive root; to be clear (orig. of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence, to make a show, to boast.
The devil is a fallen angel, who was once a “covering cherub” at the throne of Elohiym, and because of that, he used to reflect the light of YaHuWaH from the throne (see Ezekiel 28).
He is a created being, as he was created by our Messiah, who is “The Bright & Morning Star,” (Revelation 22:16).
However, many false Bible Translations refer to the devil as “Lucifer, the Morning Star!”
Because of this false translation, many people throughout the ages, have been deceived into believing that Satan is the Creator of humanity, and that he is the Light of the World!
Our Messiah said that he beheld Satan FALL FROM HEAVEN as “Lightning.”
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
If our Messiah said that “Satan fell from heaven,” and Isaiah 14:12 says that “Lucifer fell from heaven,” who else do you think these two verses are talking about?
What is the definition of the word “lightning?”
#796. astrape as-trap-ay' from 797; lightning; by analogy, glare:--lightning, bright shining.
As you can see, the word means “BRIGHT & SHINING.”
2nd Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an ANGEL OF LIGHT.
According to Pope Francis and the Catholic Church, “Lucifer is the Morning Star,” whom they call “The creator of the world, and the Father of Christ.”
They teach that “Lucifer brought light to the human race!”
In an unprecedented announcement, made to the world on April 27th, 2014 Pope Francis, declared in a Catholic Mass, that “Lucifer is God!”
Pope Francis has made other blasphemous statements, citing that “Atheists will enter heaven, as long as they do good works.” He has also Pope Francis has stated that “Jesus is just a man, and not Elohiym come in the flesh.”
Pope Francis has also stated that “Jesus & Mary” are both “Co-mediators between God & mankind.”
What is even more alarming, is that the Catholic Church denies that Lucifer is the devil or Satan, even though the entire counsel of Scripture, makes it abundantly clear that this rebellious angel fell from heaven, and he pretends to be the light! At this website, the rationale that they use is that Lucifer is simply a generic word or title that can mean anyone who bears a torch.
By using this logic, they try and legitimize the name “Lucifer” as an acceptable name or title for “Jesus Christ!” This Catholic website conflates the title “Morning Star” with the name “Lucifer,” as if they mean the same thing, but they do not!
As a matter of fact, in my older copy of the Strong’s Concordance from 1982, the entry for #1966 (heylel) does not give the definition as “morning star.” However, after 2014, suddenly the definition of #1966 (heylel) online for Strong’s Concordance uses the title “morning star” as one of the definitions!
